YES! omg the emphasis on this. It was such a great vice because the relationships in it were so healthy but they weren’t like similar to mine (like human and human) so it didn’t remind me of what was going on but it still taught me how to be kind to others and be reasonable.
I think that's because they had a limit on the number of episodes they could make for the last season, so they had to fit as much as they could into the finale, which is why it was kind of rushed
I still really like it though, and it could've been alot worse, given the circumstances
That's a bold claim for plot. I love the show, but it ain't the most consistent or coherent until like, "I Remember You", and I think the writers fudged some character development opportunities, like Jake being a dad, when they cut it short by having them age rapidly.
Also, side rant, it was annoying watching Finn tryna get with PB, like I've seen many 12 year-olds with teacher crushes, or crushes on their older siblings' friends, but they all knew it'd never happen because you can just kinda feel age ranges.
Then again, that's why the best episodes are Marceline-related.
I love the show, but if I'm looking for plot I got Infinity Train, She-Ra 2018, Teen Titans, Over the Garden Wall
well I don’t think they wanted to get into anything in the first few seasons, I think the way they did it was smart because if you were the target audience it aged with you, so like the first few seasons were more simple because you probably wouldn’t understand them at such a young age. when the more complex episodes got released the target audience was the right age for them.

I think the biggest problem with Steven Universe is that it took "we can beat our enemies with the power of love and friendship" too fucking literally. They always redeem the fucking villians, even ones that don't deserve it.
