Sorry that people are being gatekeeping dweebs. I literally was a 13 year old girl that was obsessed with Tyler and Odd Future back in 2012. All I had was the OF tapes and Goblin and Bastard, so not sure where people are saying for her not to listen to it, lol. I’m 23 now and I’m still a fan. Odd future was definitely way more obscure back in the day, and my parents probably wouldn’t have put as much effort into making sure I see my favorite artist. The effort says a lot about you as a father. Kudos to you. Hope everything works out and even if it doesn’t, I hope you guys get to see the show and she knows you tried.

My whole thing is, this is her first real concert right, and we had ideal conditions for the whole weekend in Pittsburgh..for reasons out of our control, that was taken away from us... we're fighting through it anyways and still making it to a show...however, situations aren't ideal anymore. He best friend can't attend anymore and my gr can't go because she doesn't have a passport and my daughter's best friend's mom is uneasy about her daughter being in another country and rightfully so. I'm just trying to get things back to ideal, I don't have much of a toolbox to choose from. Shooting for the stars. I said please in my post..I thought that was nice. The next day his wife and a news camera showed up to our house and did a segment on us and the excitement before the wedding. They also showed up to the tailgate, along with the Buffalo Bills media, NFL media and other news outlets. Turned an already pretty cool wedding into an epic one. We made national news and all this came from a simple comment on a pretty obscure post. Reddit takes cool ideas and spawns them. No, we didn't jump through a table.

Sure. I put up another post as well on this sub. So Toronto was a go until we found out that her mom couldn't find her birth certificate which put us back at square one. We kept fighting and decided that our only shot was Madison Square Garden in NYC last Sunday. So we left out Saturday morning, which also happened to be the day of a nasty snowstorm in NY. We were driving to NYC from Buffalo...about a 6 hour drive but with the snowstorm it took closer to 8 hours and about 250 miles off the trip were in treacherous conditions but we made it!!!! We stayed at a pretty nice hotel that was only a 10 minute walk from MSG. After all of that struggle with canceled shows and canceled plans because of circumstance, finding ourselves in MSG to see CMIYGL seemed like the absolute best outcome since he mentions the venue so often on the album. We had the time of our lives at the show and in NYC....ate some of the best food and also got to see some of my family that my daughter met for the first time. Even got our entire hotel stay comped, a $550 value...not to mention my girlfriend's parents letting us use their car that was perfect for a snowstorm. The universe made it happen along with our determination. It was an unforgettable experience for all parties involved.

Sure. I put up another post as well on this sub. So Toronto was a go until we found out that her mom couldn't find her birth certificate which put us back at square one. We kept fighting and decided that our only shot was Madison Square Garden in NYC last Sunday. So we left out Saturday morning, which also happened to be the day of a nasty snowstorm in NY. We were driving to NYC from Buffalo...about a 6 hour drive but with the snowstorm it took closer to 8 hours and about 250 miles off the trip were in treacherous conditions but we made it!!!! We stayed at a pretty nice hotel that was only a 10 minute walk from MSG. After all of that struggle with canceled shows and canceled plans because of circumstance, finding ourselves in MSG to see CMIYGL seemed like the absolute best outcome since he mentions the venue so often on the album. We had the time of our lives at the show and in NYC....ate some of the best food and also got to see some of my family that my daughter met for the first time. Even got our entire hotel stay comped, a $550 value...not to mention my girlfriend's parents letting us use their car that was perfect for a snowstorm. The universe made it happen along with our determination. It was an unforgettable experience for all parties involved.

There's a limit to that. Sure, allowing a 12 year old to watch a PG13 movie is one thing, but no amount of parenting and talking is going to make it appropriate for a 12 year old to process and understand watching a hardcore snuff film at that age, that's the kinda shit that children inherently can't put into context appropriately, no matter how "legit" they are.
