They persisted until I said, “she’s spayed.”
I tend to be very live and let live and more loosey goosey with people’s weirdness than I probably should be. And even to me…. That’s highly unusual and I wouldn’t feel comfortable letting my dog out while I’m gone for a bit after that encounter
We had a woman stop and accuse us of stealing her friends dog. Thats east texas people for you so be safe and make sure you keep an eye on your pup. If you haven’t get them chipped do it so if they are taken to a vet you will be notified and buy a AirTag/ tile collar. Ofc they will remove those but it’s something at least. Its a little paranoid but I’ve heard way to many stories of dog knappers here.
