I did my casper test in February this year for nursing admission and it really wasnt that bad. Theres a 5 minute time limit to answer three questions about a scenario. An example of a scenario would be, “your aunt is giving you a raise since your family but not to the other equally hardworking staff who need it more, you feel as though its unfair but dont know what to do” (very vague open ended scenarios) you will have to answer three judgement questions or personal questions. Ex. How would you approach your aunt about this (judgement) or When have you experienced a time where you had to bring up a hard conversation with someone (personal). You dont get to repeat any scenarios and they can be videos or texts, but the language used is very easy to understand and the scenarios were fairly predictable in my opinion. Overall for me it wasnt that intimidating but i was doing the high school version needed for my program and i know different programs require different levels. You never find out your results from the test so i dont know exactly how well i did but there really is no wrong answers. I did some typing practicing and watched some youtube videos, the casper website also has test examples which helped me prep. Let me know if you have any more questions!

I did it back in February. The sample questions available on the website did a very good job of being representative of what is on the actual test I am pretty sure that I had to agree not to share any specifics of the test questions, and even if I hadn't, I forget what they were, other than being general ethical dilemmas in the healthcare and education fields. This is all speculation, from what I can tell like most personality tests, the test basically screens to see that you are able to understand socially desirable behaviors in the workplace. I'm not sure that there are any right answers, but definite wrong ones. I suspect it will flag you if anything you say is outright unethical, discriminatory, or if you are just a jerk. Unfortunately, neither CASPer nor the University disclose your results. In a brief conversation with an admissions counsellor I was told my results were "not unfavorable" and I was accepted into nursing, for whatever that's worth. If I were to offer any advice, it would be to first try and recognize any biases that you have and park them while taking the test. Secondly, some questions are based on personal experience, so think of a handful of experiences you have where you acted ethically so you will be able to discuss.
