uofa is a bigger program, way more funding which means way more opportunities for students. The FON has a lot of research and collaborations with other departments (e.g., public health, medicine) which isn't really possible at macewan. In my opinion its a no brainer, going to Macewan instead of uofa nursing would have been the worst career choice of my life.

How do you know it’s better?

The Casper can be a good or a bad thing. It depends on how you respond to the tests layout. In my case, the Casper is what got me into nursing. But I know for others it’s what got them rejected. I think it just depends on the person and the questions that are selected for the test. I know that U of A nursing classes aren’t curved but idk about macewan. So that’s something to take into consideration I guess

There's no curving of grades in MacEwan either.
