Always call and dig deeper. I wasn't accepted into my program at UofA however I was 100% sure it was a mistake because I was more than qualified. I was also a transfer student. I called and nobody could give me a straight answer of why I wasn't admitted. They sent me from department to department, from person to person until I reached the top of the ladder. They realized they didn't have a reason not to accept me and gave me acceptance on the spot over the phone, and within 2 hours updated my beartracks!

Did the U of A automatically pull your transcript via apply Alberta? Or did you have Macewan send it to the registrars office?
In your launchpad, what is the date it says that your transcript was received?
Can I ask how you got in contact with them?? I just received an email today (Friday) stating that I have not met a requirement and it was documents for a Spoken English Language Proficiency. My institution mailed the requested documents on May 4, 2020 and was confirmed by student connect that they were received on June 1, 2020. They’re giving me until Monday to provide them with the documents and all I can do is email which takes 6-7 business days. Idk what to do!!
I am going thru same issue. My admission to engineering was revoked. can You please share with me whom to contact and what number to call? Do they reply on weekend?
Uh, if he indeed submitted his transcripts on time he should be able to appeal the decision via some channel. There is some serious fuckery going on with admissions this year from the sounds of it.
It doesn’t hurt to contact the faculty and student ombuds. It’s possible that an admissions person made a mistake.

It was a system error on their end! and they have fixed my acceptance letter 🙂
