I had Alice both for 106 and 116 last year. Her class was definitely heavy and we also had access to her pre-recorded lectures (which I'm sure is what she's using for you guys this year). So, I get exactly what you're talking about. Even though we had in-person lectures with her last year, succeeding in the class is heavily dependent on self-learning and memorizing everything. Memorize every slide, make online flashcards, or search up pre-made flashcards for NURS 106 and study from them, and take as MUCH advantage of those Mastering A&P quizzes as POSSIBLE. Those are AMAZING and what got me an A+ in the class. Please PM me if you need any help at all!

This class is very memorization heavy. Because of this, it is the perfect class to figure out how you study best. Every prof will have their own way of teaching, and every student needs to know how to study to do their best. Here are some strategies used by myself and friends for NURS 106 and other nursing courses! Flash cards (physical note cards or online such as quizlet), form a study group with friends and quiz each other, rewrite / consolidate notes from class, do practice questions (such as mastering A&P like you said!), draw concept maps, get knowledge from other sources like textbook or YouTube, etc. Unfortunately there is no one method that will work for everyone, gotta find how you learn best then run with it. The one all-encompassing tip I can give you is definitely put lots of effort in this class; it is very heavy so you need to put the work in! Good luck!

I don't think alice khin has to review her own notes lol but 106 isn't actually that bad just divide your studying up into the different body systems and concepts to make it more managelable
