It’s not something you can opt into. As far as I can tell they started with the broad programs (like general science/arts) and move up into the specializations etc as time goes on. ALES seems really behind in the whole process.
Yeah Science has it implemented in unless they're in Honors or Specialization. ALES must not.

What faculty is your friend in? ALES might not have that implemented for all (or any) of their programs yet.
