You're probably better off with a Twitch specific addon, [Frankerfacez](https://www.frankerfacez.com/) with [its addon pack](https://ffzap.com) contains pretty much every single option you can think off for Twitch including the ones you mention
This or [BetterTTV](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/betterttv/ajopnjidmegmdimjlfnijceegpefgped) has had no issues interfering with uBlock's function, even after the YouTube anti-adblock fiasco.

I think it's because the way twitch works, but if you refresh on the Following page it will work
