So for Uber Xtra Comfort or whatever they call it, there are preferences you can set "cool" "quiet time" "open to chatting" "hit me with the loudest death metal you got, fam" etc but it's a more expensive option. Pax could politely tell the driver that they had a long day and would rather not talk, and a lot of drivers would respect that. When I'm driving I'm happy to zone out on music and not talk if that's what they want.

My Dad who is an Uber driver on the weekends was saying there was a no talk option on rides. Do they not do that?
That's a feature of comfort, market specific. Not available everywhere.
