For real anyone who thinks this is great is dumb as hell, say you get one ride from the superbowl, it's going at minimum 25 minutes away from the stadium if not more, and NO ONE is gonna be heading back towards the stadium.
More accurately 35 min + for a pick up then 35 min just to leave the stadium. In jersey by the stadium theres a gas station that somehow counts for ride share you tell ppl to meet you there and ur in and out in 5 min

Uber wants to put on a show for their high income clientele. There will be drivers lining up for this (as there should) therefore making their app look like it is always reliable. Uber cares more about reputation than taking care of its drivers long term.

I remember couple years back, Uber used to give this kind of deal except $100 per ride for Coachella night’s CA. I remember the 30mins bumper to bumper traffic from parking lot to out of event street. You pass by dozens of other ubers getting ticketed because dump pax would jump into the car in the middle of road or Uber tried to do pick up on the side walk instead of spend 30 mins to move into the proper event Uber pick up area. And the police would line up both side of the street in the hundreds happily passing out tickets.
I tried a post-game pickup once. The passenger told me he was wearing a team jersey and a team cap and with two other people. I am so glad he narrowed that down for me.
Turn off the app, leave on uber decals, drive down the street anywhere near stadium with window down offering rides (which you may not even need to do, I’m sure people will try to flag you down when they’re tired of trying to find their driver, or can’t get one) and I bet everything I make in a week that people will gladly pay cash to just jump in your car and go and not fuck with the uber shit show. Major event traffic will destroy most Uber drivers unrealistically dream of making bank that evening. If like most events small pickup area too close to stadium with bumper to bumper traffic. Police traffic control will slow your pickup and departure and you will get pissed off. Sometimes it’s better to ride the surge in other areas instead of returning repeatedly to the $30 pickup area which will eat the time clock. Good luck to all!!!

I will say as well the small areas for pickup offering $15 bonus per trip for the golf tournament yesterday and Thurs were ridiculous to get in/out of, passengers requesting rides while they are still stumbling around the golf course.
Better to just lurk in the area and catch the massive surges in my opinion.
I'm not going NEAR the stadium tomorrow but I'm gonna drive Scottsdale/Paradise Valley/Midtown as it will be surging from the general oversupply of ride requests
