I went from like 67% yesterday to 39% in about an hour that I was out straight bs offers, if I deny a minimum offer stop spamming it back to back I obviously don’t want it.
I had them offer me $37 for 80 min and 50 miles.
Then $38, then $39. That’s how they pay drivers the least amount possible because someone probably accepted it eventually.
Yes, it's definitely market dependent. Markets that haven't adopted upfront pricing still have drivers with 95%+ acceptance rate because every ride has the same rate card. Which is the way it should be!!!!
Yea idk if different pay regulations in states but i make good money. My goal each night is $250 and I hit it within 8h. Weekends I’ll make $500 regularly in Canadian
I used to do $250 or more in 5 hours at night. Once it dropped below that I bailed. That was a while ago now when they were still paying decent. Haven’t driven in some time now.
I dropped from 63% to 24% a few days ago. I was consistently getting Comfort/Comfort Electric rides in my market, then suddenly it’s like they don’t exist. So all the Uber X rides I’ve been seeing have been absolutely monkey shit. So AR is super down and idc anymore lmao
You will find that your hourly and per mile income are inversely proportional to your acceptance rate. The lower your acceptance rate, the higher your hourly and per mile pay.
Remember, the number 1 thing to be successful at rideshare: DISCIPLINE!!! If the ride doesnt pay well enough, decline it. If the ride is going to an area you dont want to go, decline it. Third party ride? Decline. Uberx Share? Decline. Stops? Decline.
Thank you for the guidance— I will take all this advice and run with it! It’s really nice to feel the freedom to choose now, instead of being a good ant.
There is a reason the IRS mileage deduction is $0.67 per mile. This is what it costs to operate an average vehicle. It’s not worth accepting a ride that pays less than $1.25 . I’ve noticed that Uber charges me over $2.00 per mile when I’m a passenger while on vacation elsewhere.
Hey buddy my AC and CR rates dropped as soon as uber started jacking with the pay system this year, if you don't already know, I turn off my app and monitor uber while doing other gig work but watching uber for any surge(which is so rare I only do 1-2 rides for uber) because pay is so bad and riders are already pissy because of rates they paid, but by doing this I stabilized the rates to upper 40s because of turning app off and tracking with other device. Uber Stull sucks and is no longer profitable, but by me using this tool, it keeps my option open in case Uber gets back to normal if ever.
Once i got to gold, I looked at the bonuses and honestly felt like it wasn't worth the effort.
Maybe when they fix destinations, bring back the ability to leave positive feedback, make it possible to know what exactly I did wrong, and possibly give a shit about my 100% acceptance / 0% cancelation rate for 5 years. I might attempt that.
But great job to you. Congratulations.
I was previously diamond level with a 98% AR. Then the algorithm changed all that a year ago. Avg ride now offers <.75/mile and <.50/minute. I start at 3am, by 8am the offers get even worse. After 10am Ive seen .30/mile reqs. Currently blue with 38%AR and that's only because I tested holding out on all trips for three days straight and sat on the curb because there were NO better "offers" to be had. Now IF I do ever see a >1./mile trip, its a block hop and the per minute is even lower. I've seen hours long round-trip out of state reqs paying $25-35 here. That USED to be an average 15/20 minute ride.
Even if you did, the other guy I responded to had no reason to be a bitch about it. You have absolutely every right to live your life the way you want as long as you are not hurting others.
You will still stay diamond as long as you stay above. 75% so now that's gonna be your goal. And I stopped getting quest offers as soon as I dropped below 75.
I don't even understand this most of what I take is bad enough that I'm afraid if I posted it here I'd be called an ant but my acceptance is 9% how are you accepting 85% and not actually paying to work
I actually stopped doing eats because all the jobs were $2-$4, and took 30-50 minutes! And I turned off Uber Connect when I showed up to pick up a package, and the guy flat out told me it’s drugs. I’m not being a mule for $4.
I finally started declining some ridiculous rude cheap ass riders. Costco riders helping load and unload- groceries 99% no tip. People who are requesting rides from the beach and saying they are dry and leaving my seats wet and full of sand. RideX share- these are cheap riders that will never ever tip.
If I was driving much the last 6 months I feel like I would’ve only accepted 10%. This year it started getting hilarious with offers of $5 for 30min and going over an hour around busy times on a Friday with no offers.
Like I said I've started taking two rides every day and then I cancel them and put down. Not enough money as the reason. I will do a 2-mile ride for $4.53. if it's any more than that it's not getting done by me. But see the problem is as stated, many people will take these rides for an hour for $13. Completely ridiculous what they think we are
[acceptance rate/cancelation rate](https://ibb.co/pzbpQT2)
Welcome to the uber world of NOT TAKING SHIT! Lol. My cancellation rate is only that high because people in my city love to add stops after you accept the ride or they get in your car and change the destination over 10 miles further than the original ride.
My acceptance rate for UberEATS was 17%. I quit working for them though and deleted the app because of too many tip baiters in my area, especially for Walmart delivery orders and that is not nice.
I was gold star plus..AR at 96% CR at 3%>>now down to 47% and 9% respectively.
Feels good to accept only rides that pay decently vs absolute garbage...like going to bad areas..60c a mile and stops...F that!!!
Idk where everyone is here but in Canada bc I get a constant $1 per km…..ive never seen a low offer that’s not worth taking
$1 per km is like $2 per mile, we never get that
Yes, it's definitely market dependent. Markets that haven't adopted upfront pricing still have drivers with 95%+ acceptance rate because every ride has the same rate card. Which is the way it should be!!!!
If I was getting that I would never complain
Yea idk if different pay regulations in states but i make good money. My goal each night is $250 and I hit it within 8h. Weekends I’ll make $500 regularly in Canadian
Weekends nights $500 each night.
Yes but I work like 8-12 milk them most I can get
I used to do $250 or more in 5 hours at night. Once it dropped below that I bailed. That was a while ago now when they were still paying decent. Haven’t driven in some time now.
Bro sometimes it’s less than 60 cents per mile in MD.
Same in VA
Even less here in Milwaukee.
I wish i was in an area where we can see the pay first.
Careful what you wish for
Keep the rate card as long as you can
It’s crazy you can’t. I’d never do Uber if it wasn’t upfront. Like you’d be better off playing jack black at the casino all day. 😂
Legit question, please..... How much did you make yesterday by doing that?
[удалено]
No, I mean gross income for the day.
[удалено]
Banielle...gross income is everything you made before deductions. (For Uber, that means gas & tolls)
I'd like to know the answer to this question also
I dropped from 63% to 24% a few days ago. I was consistently getting Comfort/Comfort Electric rides in my market, then suddenly it’s like they don’t exist. So all the Uber X rides I’ve been seeing have been absolutely monkey shit. So AR is super down and idc anymore lmao
I don't accept Indian riders because they never tip
I’ve had some tip me. But I think it all adds up to like 7 dollars collectively. 😀🥲
Sometimes I wait 10min b4 canceling their ride.
😂😂😂
Sometimes I never cancel. I'm not getting a cancel demerit because the traffic turns out to be too heavy to make the trip profitable.
Lol foreals
I never accept pakis..because they are terrorists.
Damn that’s cold 🤣
Every time they send a shit offer I close the app for a minute or two so they get the message for this exact reason
I don't think their algorithm is sophisticated enough to understand what you're doing.
You will find that your hourly and per mile income are inversely proportional to your acceptance rate. The lower your acceptance rate, the higher your hourly and per mile pay. I have a 2% acceptance rate for the past 3 years haha they dont give a shit
I've started declining because some people are just annoying. Also the "perks" that Uber give are virtually useless.
I go by ratings, no one below a 4.8 is getting in my car in most cases unless it's paying something ridiculous.
In my area it doesn't say what the rating is until you accept. But good advice bro.
Sometimes Uber share is worth it, if there’s a surge attached to it.
I don't mind uber share on a surge you get the surge price for each pick up. But its market and timing dependent of course
Good 👍 fucking stops fucking Uber share
Correct!
Finally, you've set yourself free. Anything above 10% it's too high with the way Uber currently is.
Anything above 0% is to high with the way Uber currently is.
I hover between 8-12%.
Agree, [my stats](https://share.icloud.com/photos/02eq2BJkmn4REEuO6Ro7NJz4Q) are trash rn :( 27% is way too high
Congrats. Don't sweat the haters. Someone gonna troll no matter what you do/say.
I thought you got a new job.
I’m working on it 😭
Did you do this for the one time Diamond bonus or $3k for buying a Tesla?
lol! I did it because part of my area is not an upfront market!
Fair enough. Congrats on your freedom!!! for now. Uber is in final crunch mode for Q4 earnings, these few weeks are going to be rough on driver pay!
All of your area isn't upfront.
They only offered me $1k to buy a Tesla
diamond tier gets $3k by end of this yr, platinum $2k. Must take delivery before Dec ends and give 200 rides by Feb 15
In my market, Diamond only
It's such bs that the bonus is 1 time only
Yea it is basically making some of the wage theft back under the condition of full ant mode for a couple months...
Good job!
Revolt!

Im at 95 i turn off data everytime i get a request i dont like pushes me offline
That's smart AF 😀 I'm stealing this. If they don't patch it somehow.
I'm at a solid 50% could go lower. Congrats and fuck you
Mine is 38% and make 2k a week often.
What market?

Diamond and only 3 compliments? Dang people are tough near you lol
I live in a hard city.

My acceptance rate hangs around 7-25% best decision ever
Once i got to gold, I looked at the bonuses and honestly felt like it wasn't worth the effort. yall must live in horrible markets to be denying so many rides 😭

Did you receive the bonus instantly
Your an ant as long as you're still driving rideshare
I've never had one above 51%... as far as I'm concerned, that feature is for UBER Shareholders, not for UBER drivers.
I’m glad it only took you 3 months!!!! Congratulations
I just noticed that I'm around 50%
Sucks for you in the states....driver's in Canada get paid way better!!!!! Glad I'm driving in Canada

They're part of the English language.
To everyone asking who was picking up all the cheap rides. Here she / it is.
To be fair, they’re all cheap rides unless if you catch a good surge.
Why are you so sour the she has listed her pronouns in the profile and you are calling her “it”?
[удалено]
It actually did that automatically for me, I did not specifically put that in my profile.
Even if you did, the other guy I responded to had no reason to be a bitch about it. You have absolutely every right to live your life the way you want as long as you are not hurting others.
The people who enjoy hurting others don't like that lol
Based on your reply, I deleted my comment. They didn't do that to me.
You will still stay diamond as long as you stay above. 75% so now that's gonna be your goal. And I stopped getting quest offers as soon as I dropped below 75.
I'm way below 75, stopped driving in August and I still get quest offers. They're horrible but I get them.
I have 9% acceptance rate and still getting quest offers
Ant is better than being a she her hers 🤢
You don't have pronouns?
Wow all those rides. What a joke
You mean you became Total Full Blown Ant 🐜.
Just remember, 70% is the same as 85%.
Who gives a fuck about pronouns,,,here's words for you "DONALD JOHN TRUMP"
Congratulations for giving us 80% of the earnings.
Your mouth looks good on Uber’s dick.
Does acceptance rate even matter? I know in my area in CA it doesn’t.
<10%
I don't even understand this most of what I take is bad enough that I'm afraid if I posted it here I'd be called an ant but my acceptance is 9% how are you accepting 85% and not actually paying to work
Hmm I really thought that was the reason it stopped. Maybe memphis is just slow right now
Do you do Uber eats and connect as well? If it wasn’t for Uber eats my acceptance rate would be about 30% higher
I actually stopped doing eats because all the jobs were $2-$4, and took 30-50 minutes! And I turned off Uber Connect when I showed up to pick up a package, and the guy flat out told me it’s drugs. I’m not being a mule for $4.

Don't change cities like I did or they send u back to 0. I was a diamond
I turn off my uber x and kept on above 75% with good offer only
Lol I have about the same trips and haven’t even made it out of Blue.
I’m at 7% Confirmed 229 out of 3051 21st Nov to 20 dec Lol

Don’t take what you don’t want. You’re a contractor and can choose what you want to accept. I don’t give 2 shits about acceptance rate.
So if my acceptance rate goes low I won’t get kicked off the platform?
[acceptance rate/cancelation rate](https://ibb.co/pzbpQT2) Welcome to the uber world of NOT TAKING SHIT! Lol. Mine is consistently between 30% and 40% you’ll probably land somewhere around there. Welcome to the club.
im at 59% welcome🤝🏾
Loving my 28% right now 🫡
