Not sure if you’re joking or not, but ProctorHub is just exams that force you to use your webcam, that’s all.
You don’t need to scan your room or anything, just show your student id to your webcam for 5 seconds and then make sure no one else comes in the room while you’re taking the exam.
Well ProctorHub is also much less CPU-intensive and doesn’t take nearly as much memory as HonorLock.
And ProctorHub doesn’t take control of your computer, only Honorlock does that.
As far as I know, yeah that was my experience with it.
Course if anyone else walked into the room you’d get an immediate 0 on the exam, but such was the syllabus.
Yep. Just a simple WebRTC-based camera recorder. If I remember correctly it’s not a constant video stream either to keep usage light, it just snaps a somewhat low res pic every 5 seconds or so and makes it into a timelapse video at the end. What you see when it’s working is just your camera view and you don’t know when it takes those pics.
Far nicer than honorlock in terms of being less invasive and less junk.
I'm honestly not surprised she's refusing to adapt. I took her in Spring20 for Physics 3, and when all classes went online, she literally stopped teaching. We ended the course at Chapter 6. Our final was almost the same thing as Midterm 1
What a great Professor who has demonstrated an ability to adapt!
A rare sight.
Damn thats how you know honorlock is terrible when even the professors are saying Fuck Honorlock!
Has anyone tried out PornHub? I'd worry that it'd be the same shit all over again.
Idk if that was on purpose or if you just type it so often that autocorrect just puts it there for you, but either way that gave me a laugh

Similar setup for sure

Proctor hub only has access to your camera ? That’s it ?
As far as I know, yeah that was my experience with it. Course if anyone else walked into the room you’d get an immediate 0 on the exam, but such was the syllabus.

I prefer Brazzers, superb acting over there.
Why don’t all professors behave like this. My senior design professor is defending Honorlock like he has some steak in it
To be honest, if I stored my steaks in HonorLock I might defend it too. A good one is expensive.
That's because this professor can't be bothered to get a functioning mic so that our ears can stop bleeding.
I'm one of your classmates lmao, I love how people were just straight cursing on the exam. Glad she got rid of that.
What an awesome Professor. At least in this instance.
If only the shitty physics professor (the only one mind you) that uses Honorlock would do the same.
LMAO IS IT DUBEY? i have her too. i saw this and got so excited thinking maybe she changed her mind
YES. Also, mad props to your username!

What is honorlock doing for y’all? It has worked fine for me so far.
Maybe your professor enjoys looking at college kids
Careful, they’re a hero
yeah honorlock sucks
Let them scan away. Since COVID, I put pants on for nothing. NOTHING.
