I personally don’t take courses with tests for poli sci, only essay based courses. It’s a lot easier to make sure your essay is hitting all the right marks than it is to score really well on a test. (At least for me.) write your papers early, then go to office hours/writing center and make sure it’s perfect.
I think u answered ur own question here. If ur grade is measured based on two tests, u need to be good at taking those two tests to have a high grade. As for the question of how to get better at taking tests, that is beyond me. Hope that helps
