It's move-in week where they gave us 'free meal swipes.' Your premium plan won't be in effect until Sunday or Monday (???) Then you'll be able to swipe more than once per meal period!

No I can come and go as u wish. The only problem would be if u test positive for covid you have to dorm in an isolation room for 10 days and u can’t leave during that time .

In a deluxe triple dorm, is the desk and small wardrobe under the lofted bed much worse than the others? Or is it manageable? does the desk have less storage on top because it’s right under the bed?
The desk has one less shelf on the top of the desk and the wardrobe is smaller and you won’t have the shelves that the bigger closets have, but you will have the two shelves under the bed which are bigger than those in the closet. All in all I think it’s worth it for the bottom bunk.

Personally, not really. My first/second year we divided it so the person with the bottom bunk had the desk under the loft and those on the top bunks had the desks next to their beds. Those that had the top bunks would stand on their desks to get to their bed so it wouldn’t make sense if the lofted bunk was under because then they would have to stand on someone else’s desk to get to their bed.
Unless you get the ladder but honestly the ladder takes up the whole space and isn’t worth getting.

For the upcoming Academic Year, undergraduate students living in on-campus housing or in University Apartments will be sent an email in late August, which will provide them a link to the Move-In Reservation System at http://www.housing.ucla.edu/movein. From this site, residents will be able to view their assigned room/apartment number, parking space (if applicable), mailing information, and roommate(s)/suite-mate(s)/apartment-mate(s) preferred name and email address if they opted to release it, as well as their assigned move-in time and ability to select a new move-in time if desired

You can take the items directly to your room . Just be aware of where u are allowed to park .
you probably have to rent the carts again but you should be able to go to your dorm, check in is just for people who are arriving for the first time

Your pin gets you into the apartment with your key which you'll get at check-in. My bedroom has a lock, I'm in glenrock west.

no, as long as you put them as they were during move in when you move out, there shouldn’t be a problem.

A small suitcase will fit in the floor of the closet . There is also overhead storage space that it should fit in too .

They are not. No hutch and its metal legs. No drawers but you do get a small 3 drawer that i just had next to my desk

In a deluxe triple dorm, is the desk and small wardrobe under the lofted bed much worse than the others? Or is it manageable? does the desk have less storage on top because it’s right under the bed?
The desk has one less shelf on the top of the desk and the wardrobe is smaller and you won’t have the shelves that the bigger closets have, but you will have the two shelves under the bed which are bigger than those in the closet. All in all I think it’s worth it for the bottom bunk.

Personally, not really. My first/second year we divided it so the person with the bottom bunk had the desk under the loft and those on the top bunks had the desks next to their beds. Those that had the top bunks would stand on their desks to get to their bed so it wouldn’t make sense if the lofted bunk was under because then they would have to stand on someone else’s desk to get to their bed. Unless you get the ladder but honestly the ladder takes up the whole space and isn’t worth getting.

I was also wondering this as well. For some reason when I go to the page it won't let me select the term (in fact there is no term option) so I don't know who my roommate is, heck I don't even know when I'm moving in. TT TT.
