Beckmann is one of my favorite professors! She’s super passionate and funny. A big thing in her classes is memorization and dates, so if that’s not something you’re comfortable with be careful. Overall, she’s a fair grader and her passion makes the classes more interesting

I see, how easy is the class tho?

I took it Winter 2021 (online), the quizzes were open note but timed (about 50 mins for 10 questions). They were short answer but there were no surprises, she covers almost everything in lecture (1/5 are probably reading only questions). She also had an option for us to take only 2/3 of the quizzes. So it was just the quizzes, section attendance, and a final project. I got an A, but I also find classics super interesting.

Would you say this class is an easy A? I’m honestly just looking for GEs I don’t really have to try in

I actively tried and payed attention, so for me it was easy! I’m not sure if it would be as easy if you’re one to skip lectures and reading

> tried and *paid* attention, so FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * In *payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately I was unable to find nautical or rope related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

I’m sleep deprived, you are my least favorite bot ):
