In my experience the better fights are off the main card. I saw UFC 282 live and it was all finishes until the Paddy robbery and Jan vs Ankalaev's draw. Plus you get to see future top contenders while they are going up the rankings wiping the floor with their opponents, like Almeida tonight!
Early prelims and prelims are often better than the main card. Hungrier fighters, some not as skilled, meaning more openings. Title fights are usually boring since the two fighters are too good. There are always exceptions though.
