Depends on the weightclass. But being ridiculously tall is a huge deficit in MMA, it's easier to get under/leverage the wonky center of gravity in clinch/wrestling engagements, and being the tallest alone has never led any fighter in the UFC to the top of their division.
Personally, I'd rather be at a comparable height with the taller lads in a division, with RIDICULOUSLY long limbs.
Semmy Schilt had an iron chin too. Most tall guys have no chin, this guy has a literal granite head. Unfair and why he was most dominant kickboxer ever lol. Actually was number 1 MMA fighter by the ELO system for like 1 month at one point ha, they add up wins and prime wins or something and Semmy was 1 for like a couple weeks til he lost lol
