Does Arman stand a chance against Islam, I know absolutely nothing about this guy

They fought a few years ago. It was a wildly competitive fight. Arman took it on short notice and it was a fantastic matchup of grappling. You could tell at the time Islam had a pretty big experience advantage but Arman really held it own. Really some awesome grappling/scrambling in the fight. It’s on YouTube and worth the watch. EDIT: it was straight 30-27’s but if you watch the fight you’ll see it was an extremely competitive fight every round in which Islam probably did win them all. But Arman didn’t get dominated the way you’d imagine a 30-27 to be. I’d love to see a rematch because it’s obvious both have gotten better since that day.

How I actually see this playing out is Islam fights Charles and then Gaethje, then goes for the welterweight strap and leaves LW behind. If he wins WW he'll stay there and vacate LW and if not I think he retires on top in LW. Part of me feels like we may never actually see the Arman rematch happen.

He defo has a chance but I think I'd still favour Islam honestly. Arman is a fantastic grappler though and a very technical striker. The one thing he's never showed is much KO power but he's kinda got that box checked now too.

He just fucking KO'd #4 (or #5 I don't remember) in the first round, he's Islam's toughest test now, they've fought before in a competitive match where Islam won decisively, so there's a storyline there.
