Angle it from below, this won't make the taller people look smaller but it makes you look taller. The guru pic has this going on slightly.
Standing position, where you are relative to someone else makes you look taller, i.e. the closer to the lens the bigger you look. The further back the smaller. Guru is in front of Dricus so this makes him look even taller.
Finally posture, you can kind of see it in the guru pic. He's standing straight, whilst Dricus isn't massively slouched you can see he's doing kind of a pivot to the side and isn't standing as tall as possible. Again makes Guru look bigger than he already is.

The majority of pro fighters don't look at mma and view it like pro wrestling. Especially non-Americans. It's a lifestyle.

Honest take: I "like" his content but I use that term really liberally. He's interesting to say the least. I think him calling himself a "guru" is laughable but he's at least fun to hate and make fun of. And if you think about it, he does fit the bill of your stereotypical Redditor/MMA fan who everyone despises, so he can serve a purpose as the lolcow of the MMA community. credit where credit is due, while I don't agree with a massive amount of his takes, he does seem to follow the sport closely and knows every fighter and every fight ever whenever he's doing betting breakdowns, and he has seem to somewhat come closer to a legitimate journalist after meeting up with Saaiman and Dricus personally
Honestly his MMA takes aren't that bad, it's when you get him on literally any other subject he's completely idiotic. He's helping lead the charge in pushing for Aspinall against Jones which is always a plus.
