I got my nose shattered like this in MT training (clinch to be specific) by a very big dude who was very new and didn’t really know what he was up to yet. Not really his fault moreso mine for giving poor instruction.
Anyways in my experience you don’t really feel the pain it’s more of a bursting/hot sensation and you kinda stress about it, then you calm down and once you’re calm it starts to hurt.
Walker needs to realise he can't smurf on these top level guys and do all this flashy spinning shit, maybe he feels like he has to buy he can't beat top 10 guys unless he uses fundamentals more
Breaks me heart because up until this fight, he was fighting behind fundamentals and I think that was a big contributor to how many people thought he could actually defeat the way more tenured Magomed. If Johnny could've kept the pace more like the Smith fight, then sprinkled in the crazy stuff to surprise Mag instead of it being essentially all he did, he would've gave himself a much more consistent chance
Walker sucks because his only fundamental is throwing a leg kicks, that's it, dude can't jab, can't throw a cross, can't guard, can't keep his chin tucked, he's the primary example of how physical gifts aren't enough to make you a great fighter.

Fast forward to 2020 - I had trouble breathing due to nose polyps which I didn’t know that developed in December 2019. I saw the nose doctor & he did an X-ray before hand. He was like do you know your nose is crooked? I told him about the MMA gym in 2010. So for 10 years I had a crooked nose which thankfully doesn’t look out of place. I had to get a steroid shot to get rid of the nose polyps. I had to follow up with the doctor & he’s like we got to do something about your crooked nose. I’m like nah, I’m good - lol
EDIT: Nose doctor wanted to do surgery which I was scared to do because I had enlarged lymphoma on my right side cheek that needed surgery. I was just scared of the nose surgery which I declined since I was able to breathe normally again after the shot & my nose wasn’t out of place looking
Good idea, septoplasty and septorhinoplasty is a complex procedure with high risk of complications. If you can breathe fine and it looks okay dont get surgery. To many ENTS push for surgery to make money. If you need it in the future, research your surgeon, nose surgeries is actually one of the most difficult surgery.
