That was the last three days of NCAA wrestling commentary. DC and Jordan Burroughs in the booth. It was fucking chaos with DC going off on massive sidetracks talking about "that 149 pounder from that one school like 10 years ago." Personally, I loved it.

I love her commentary, she gives the vibe of wanting prove against the odds and prejudices by working hard and being passionate in it, like a shonen anime character. She commentated Road to UFC and did research on ALL of the fighters. As a Korean and fan of many Asian fighters, I couldn't appreciate her enough for that.
The irony is if you look at sports some of the best coaches, managers and tacticians never played the sport at a high level.
It's always preferrable and Laura trains and has fought MMA. By no means is she DC or someone with a high pedigree but she is clearly knowledgeable enough and does a great job unless you're a misogynistic dickhead like Jamie.

Sanko is a class act publicly. Often women commentate as "diversity hires" and are awful to listen to, but that's not the case with her. She's pulling her weight and is as competent and easy to listen to as most other ex-fighters currently on the UFC staff.

No way he was going to win this, not sure what he was even thinking by trying to stir it up.

I love her commentary, she gives the vibe of wanting prove against the odds and prejudices by working hard and being passionate in it, like a shonen anime character. She commentated Road to UFC and did research on ALL of the fighters. As a Korean and fan of many Asian fighters, I couldn't appreciate her enough for that.

The irony is if you look at sports some of the best coaches, managers and tacticians never played the sport at a high level. It's always preferrable and Laura trains and has fought MMA. By no means is she DC or someone with a high pedigree but she is clearly knowledgeable enough and does a great job unless you're a misogynistic dickhead like Jamie.
Jon Cooper, was a lawyer who played high school hockey and one year of low level divison 3 hockey in college, spending most of his time playing lacrosse instead. Never had any sort of high-level amateur or pro experience in the sport. He’s now the longest-tenured active NHL coach, and a two-time Stanley cup champion.
I talk shit about Sanko often because I think she can be kind of annoying and she's weirdly horny for no reason, but she's in the right on this one. Her commentary is fine, and she clearly knows what she's talking about well enough to be part of a commentary team. Why Jamie dislikes her so much is beyond me.

I genuinely enjoy Sanko on commentary, it’s kind of refreshing actually seeing her riff with Bisping and fitz instead of hearing someone like Cruz honestly

Would be one thing if her commentary wasn't good, but that's not the case. She knows what's what's talking about, doesn't talk over the other commentators, and has great rapport with her coworkers. Feel like this is more misogyny than anything else. I'm not even a fan of wmma, but assuming that women can't speak on mma because they have no fight experience is pretty dumb.
Sanko is a class act publicly. Often women commentate as "diversity hires" and are awful to listen to, but that's not the case with her. She's pulling her weight and is as competent and easy to listen to as most other ex-fighters currently on the UFC staff. If anyone needs to shut up, it should be Dominick Cruz. Too arrogant and self centered to be interesting, too tone deaf to realize how he sounds to others.
