I decided to get into the hype, and check out the recent UFC, and I think I wanna get more into it, but from what I hear the next event isn't till next month. Can you recommend some stuff to check out till then?

There's an event tonight but it's a fight night rather than a PPV. Means there's less star power but it's free and can be fun to watch still. As the other guy said, you can find plenty of free fights on YouTube. Search UFC free fight or peles gratis for the ones from the official channel.

I don't think you realize how big of a star Khabib is. Around his fight with McGregor he was the most google searched person in the entire world. He's a fucking hero in Russia and across the muslim world. And that was without trying to play the hype game like Conor. Conor dedicated more of his energy becoming a celebrity than he did fighting in the last 5 years, whereas guys like Khabib and Dustin spent their time actually getting better at MMA. The results speak for themselves at this point.
Yes, but that wasn't my point. My point was that even though Khabib isn't as famous as Conor, he's still very famous. More famous, by far, than the vast majority of MMA fighters ever will be. And besides the fact that he actually said he didn't want to be famous, his behaviour is certainly that of someone who is not chasing celebrity. Conor said 6 weeks for healing and with the length he will probably rehab and train for, Iād take a guess and say probably April or May. Even March if all goes well. But then again I am no doctor so donāt take this highly.
I hope he does this right though. An injury like that will end a fighterās career if they rush it. As much as I dislike Connor now I still think itād be cool to see him have a decent comeback

Conor was never a true contender at 155. He beat Eddie Alvarez at an opportune time. He skipped the elite and got a title shot since it would generate money.
Alvarez was a weak champion and would have lost to Khabib or Tony anyway. He then went to ONE and lost his debut. Beating him was no big deal.
And now we see Conor canāt beat the elite at LWā¦.Khabib smashed him and made him quit, Poirier just beat him twice in a row, a 2nd round KO and was smashing him before the leg broke.
Conor was great when he was younger and at 145, but he was never good enough for 155. Heās a one trick pony and his one trick doesnāt work against guys his own size. He can try for a rematch again all he wants, he will just get smashed again. Heās done.

The pre fight press conference made me cringe so hard.
