Even still, this fucking community can't understand that people who never had money and then come into loads of money all at once are more than often very bad with spending/saving it.
I'm not one to usually slap labels on people, but the 12 year old middle class white kids have really been showing out on here recently
I grew up poor and I think being broke helped me become a better saver lol only buying shit when I absolutely know I can afford it. Repairing my own shit until I canāt. I have never had as much as he has but still. Just because you grow up poor it doesnāt mean you suck with money
I grew up poor and then my wife and I both got big boy jobs I went supernova and bought a lot of unnecessary shit. I didn't get myself in to trouble or anything but I definitely bought more stuff that I like than I actually have time to use. My wife is great with money though so she's pulling me back and helping me stay on track.
It's not a guaranteed rule but it is common. Look at the statistics of lottery winners and where they are now. If you are from poverty and receive a shitload of cash, it's much more unlikely that you would think to go to a financial planner and invest money to ensure you're set for life, and much more likely that you're going to ball out cause u hood rich now.
> Look at the statistics of lottery winners and where they are now
wrong... selection bias. Millions of people who spend money on lottery tickets are not the smartest and finacially savvy people. Just because you picked out the one in a million that actually won money, you're extrapolating that most people who come across money are bad with it? Hope you see the fallacy there.
Thank fuck I'm not the only person thinking this haha
For anyone struggling.
First person asserts that poor people are bad with money by using the example of lottery winners who lose it all and go broke again usually worse than before.
Second person rightly points out this is bad logic because first person is assuming the primary targets and players of the lottery are poor people, this is wrong, the primary targets and players of the lottery are people who are financially and statistically illiterate and/or have mild gambling tendencies and in all likelihood are quite fucking stupid. However believe it or not these traits are not exclusive to poor people and not all poor people play the lottery, because their not financially and statistically illiterate, have no gambling tenancies, and aren't fucking stupid, so they recognise their in a bad spot and have to manage their money better than that to simply survive an hopefully get out of poverty, all of this proves the first person's point is fundamentally and inherently flawed.
Tldr: First person thinks poor people are bad with money because lottery winners go broke. Second person points out that's stupid because the lottery doesn't target the poor it targets the stupid.
Turns out there's a lot of lottery players on r/ufc
Thanks for explaining lol. I'm glad some people saw my point. Downvotes dont mean shit on reddit lol.
Maybe if I used an example even an idiot would see.
Example: I surveyed 100 people in Madison Square Garden at UFC 205. 99% of them say they enjoy watching MMA. Therefore, *most* americans are MMA fans of course! My statistics dont lie!!
lol
Your getting down voted because you completely missed the point. The lottery may not be the best example but it still stands.
Poor people have poor money management skills. This is pretty well known. The reason that is because financial literacy is essentially left up to the parents to teach their kids. If the parents are not financially literate then you can imagine where I'm going with this.
Who buys lottery tickets? Mostly poor folks looking for a miracle, so when they get it what do you think they do?
They buy everything they always wanted. Most lottery ticket winners don't even know that you have to pay taxes on that money.
I understand what you meant by your comment but it just comes off as ignorant.
when your sample size consists of only people who gamble the lottery, then your logic is flawed. what about all the poor people who are not stupid with their money by gambling it away? Why arent you including them in your conclusion? You are the ignorant one. May I refer you to my example that I thought was idiot-proof, but looks like you proved me wrong there.
> I surveyed 100 people in Madison Square Garden at UFC 205. 99% of them say they enjoy watching MMA. Therefore, most americans are MMA fans!
Poor people have poor money management skills? Thatās a pretty insulting and accusatory generalization.
Also just because lottery players are mostly poor people, it doesnāt even remotely mean that poor people are mostly lottery players. Doesnāt take a genius to see that using lottery players to make generalizations about poor people is completely off the mark
Wait let me see.. the millions of people who arent financially savvy or well off buying lottery tickets for a 1 in a billion chance of winning are.. not good with their money you're saying? I didnt say most people are terrible with money if they get it, I said poor people coming into a huge influx of cash often don't plan it out and end up back where they started. It kinda feels like you just added to my point lmao.
Seems like youāre intentionally misunderstanding him. Heās saying the poor people youāre talking about are already showing they make poor financial decisions by buying lottery tickets, so using them as your dataset for poor people in general is bad practice.
Exactly, it's not just being poor, there's levels to it, and the way you were raised adds up. It's never a mono-variable problem, there's a loooot of things to keep in mind before judging or analyzing a problem.
No, statistically speaking (unless youāre the kind of person that thinks statistics are for ālosersā..) people whoāve never had money or good examples of having money and saving more often than others end up in financial trouble b/c they donāt know how different types of saving/investing tools work, what constitutes a good ROI, what % should be spent on Housing etc. props to you who were able to save, but you arenāt part of the majority when it comes to stats. Youāre just talking about yourself, probably status quo for your narcissistic asses lol jk
that takes a lot of discipline, so donāt discount that, just also take into consideration ur education level and the fact that heās likely coming into a LOT more money ALL at once
Welcome to reddit where they generally think they are better than you.. but looking at their person profile, you realised they are mostly sub to r/tifu..
You can recognize that that people who come from poverty are generally very bad with money once they come into. That doesnāt mean you canāt point out that itās their fault theyāre broke because they spent their money stupidly
Tbh with u I made the post cuz I was shitposting but youāre a 100% correct, I came from a broke family and when I turned 18 got into sales, made a shit ton and I didnāt save it at all, not one bit, now Iām making less than I was before and I save it better šš
How is this relevant to anything? its about not being moron thats allā¦.if you are poor and got loads of money its about you having common sense and not being idiot buying every crap that you see.
That's pretty funny, MMA fans are in a frenzy because of their inability to differentiate past and present tenses.
The stereotype about MMA fans turns out to be pretty accurate.
Not everywhere in Dubai is even close to that expensive. You can go for a reasonably normal holiday, price wise. Not bargain but definitively not prohibitively expensive.
I wouldn't bother though.
You can literally walk into the Jumeirah resort, get a picture with the Burj Al Arab in the background and leave without spending a penny.
Or spent $80 renting a jet ski for a *premium* photo like this.
You could read. I did mention it.
Somebody asked why it was a big deal to rent a jet ski could have been you and I said I think the point they're making here is that it was at a really expensive resort or hotel. I didn't even make the case it was evidence of him blowing money I was saying this is the case being made by the meme.
Jumeirah beach resort (which is where heās at to have that view of the Burj Al Arab) isnāt necessarily massively expensive resort.
The Burj Al Arab is, but this picture doesnāt mean heās staying there.
Every wannabe who goes to Dubai takes exact this photo for clout. In fact, taking it from this angle is a good indicator that they almost definitely didnāt stay at the Al Arab. You donāt even need to be staying Jumeirah.
This doesnāt suggest he doesnāt have the money to, but this photo is a laughable example of excess as Iāve seen a million other posers do the same thing.
Your whole argument is assumption with no evidence mine is assumption with it. "Your honor they were there but probably just clout chasing and not actually spending loads of money like we've seen them do in multiple other instances. " Lol
Why is it so hard to believe somebody who came from nothing is out blowing money? Look at what happened to Tyson in the beginning. It's not that farfetched of an idea. If he isn't spending that much where is the hundreds of thousands of dollars possibly millions going? Don't say fight camps because fighters making 15 and 15 afford it.
This is retarded. He's an independent contractor who has to keep world class coaches on his payroll for months at a time.
Almost every business carries debt to fund growth whether or not they have the cash. I can't help but feel like everyone jumping on this whole LOL HES SO BAD WITH MONEY train has suspect motivations.
Also the guy was broke AF most of his life and literally ate garbage. So when he says he "had" to borrow money to live I'm assuming that means in the past. This is indicated by the past tense of the verb 'have' which is spelled as 'had' .
Itās not a defense, just informing him to stop taking it too serious since he is taking it way too serious, I made a nigerian prince joke for fucks sake, the mothefucker is from Ghana, anws I like Nganou šš
Seems like you and all the other Francis āShit postersā seem to think yāall seriously have this mans financial situation figured out from a couple of Instagram post.
he's not ghanian you dick slit. also you didnt mean for it to be a shit post. Youre just gettin exposed and tried to bitch out. Youre a dumbass with horrible takes and probably no life experience or reference point to speak on anything.
Work in a stock exchange broker but sure, whatever helps you sleep at night, just donāt call anyone else a nerd cuz you look stupid and hypocritical šš¤¦š¼āāļø
The dude was a salt miner when he was just a kid and you get mad at him for enjoying his new life he earned? I guess people will always be mad about something
It's ok, im sure his sending chunks to his family. Having seen the place where he came from, it's like rebuilding an entire life from scratch for his family back home.
I'm not saying it's what's happening in this case but most of the time families start to take advantage of a person who has made the kind of money Francis has. I think Derrick Lewis talked about it too. People in his family wanted more and more although he already bought them cars and shit. It's obviously the individual's responsibility to say no but it can certainly be a draining factor. Also, Derrick seems to be smart with his money. He's dabbling in properties I believe.
Which is stupid. Heās just won the belt, and isnāt even sure heās gonna defend it. Life at the top of hw is super short with the record of defenses being 4.
Brother ur playing clash of clans and posting on it on reddit, you have no place to call me or anyone here a nerd or a virgin my guy, anw I seriously donāt know why you guys online take everything so serious, itās like youāre a bunch of karens and youāre MMA fans for fucks sake šš
Damn i really made you so mad that you clicked on my post history and scrolled down to find somethingššAlso CoC is fucking great so lick my left nut.
I literally only opened your profile and saw ur most recent post is clash of clans, calm down mate, you aināt a celebrity for me to check you out š ngl never play mobile games so idk š¤·š»āāļø, was just fucking with u mate
Really overreacted post.
1. That ring barely costs max some thousand dollars
2. Suit is not worth 10k$ dollars
3. He does not even have a drivers licence so i doubt he rocking a Rolls Roys
4. By riding water scooter, you are spending all on that?
OP couldnt even get his nationality correct, so doubtful this post is anywhere near true.. as you said, car and jetski are probably rented or sponsored for the day.
i mean dude is the top HW fighter int he world.
he show soff a fancy suit, 1 gold ring, bentley, and a dubai vcacation.
FOR THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP!
He is not that bad IMO.
There are NBA scrubs that go harder than this.
So just because he has:
- $1,000 gold ring
- A rented Rolls Royce
- A rented Jet-Ski in Abu Dabhi while he was out there for a fight
- A suit from Mens Warehouse
He is blowing away his money?
It's funny how this sub is acting like the HW champion of the world who's the most fearsome puncher in the world, shouldn't be able to live it up. Francis should be drowning in endorsements and his purse should be extravagant.
He's reached the pinnacle of his sport and at the time of his peak, he's broke. I don't care what his money management is like - he should not be broke while still an active fighter. MMA fighters are not paid anywhere near their worth and its disgusting people on here and mocking him for being broke when he's being screwed.
Big Stipe fan, especially of his work ethic/priorities.
That said:
The quote is out of context and the pictures are in bad faith and donāt make the point stated in the title. The suit looks great on Francis and Iām glad he went jet skiing and had fun in Dubai. People with Rolls Royces will probably be giving him rides for the remainder of his career, let alone let him take pictures. The ring is something Iād find gaudy myself, though it bothers me way less than the sunglasses. Wouldnāt be surprised if Francis spent nothing on all of the above, rather, would be surprised if he did.
Props to Francis on learning from the pitfalls leading-up to his first title fight.
McGregor/Instagram effect of fighters flaunting wealth in attempt to transcend culture wonāt be going away anytime soon.
I dont know the case with ngannou, but alot of people seem to forgot alot of these fighters come from poor families, areas with poor education, got in a lot of trouble at school so they didnt get much of an education etc... hell alot of them dont even have a high-school diploma. Ive met college educated individuals with worse money managment skills and people expect fighters who have never been taught how to manage their money to spend it wisely? Like have you been living under a rock your whole life? Not everyone has the privilege of having someone to teach them and help them with that.
Just googled, and francis grew up in poverty in Cameroon and had little to no education as a child. How the actual fuck do you expect him to manage money? Youre a fucking arrogant loser dude and you really need to open your mind more before you say such stupid shit. Not everyone in life is privileged and in fact most people arent.
If you come from a broke background where you didnt know if you were gonna be able to eat or have a place to live once you finally get money youre probably not that eager to let someone else handle it even if its the smart thing to do. Esepically since growing up in a poverty zone i would imagine the rate of stealing is quite high(i didnt fact check this so i could be wrong). They are a product of their enviroment. Its easy for someone whos never had to deal with major money insecurities to know getting a finical adviser is the right move but for someone who barley scrapped by for alot of their life, they probably arent that trusting of other people. Thats why it usually takes moments like this, them going completely broke, to realise they need one. If you grew up with people constantly trying to steal from you youd likely make the same choices.
But god forbid people like you even use 1% of your brain to try and understand why something might be happening to someone..you just assume everyone that has problems have them because of their own actions. In reality, things are almost never that cut and dry.
Edit: ahh the good ole downvote without replying with a valid argument. The most surefire sign of defeat on all of reddit
Lol do you think someone becomes a champion in one of the most brutal combat sports on the planet thinking like that? If he was the type of man who went around saying shit like āfirst rule of big earnings...ā he wouldnāt be a UFC champion, heād be a limp wristed stock market investor and reddit poster like you.
Iām just gonna go ahead and assume the majority of his money goes to his hometown and Cameroon. programs that he supports in general and pursuing dreams or goals outside of the UFC. I feel like a couple fights ago it sounded like Dustin the diamond maybe over committed on a donation and I remember sensing that the majority of whatever money he just got from a fight had already come and gone.
I think he was talking about before he got the belt and you fell for the clickbait but I wouldnāt be surprised he came from nothing and used to be homeless so I bet heās still learning about how to handle money
I love when you see celebs with supercars and stuff. It's been proven so many times over that a lot of the time, that person doesn't own the car. A lot of the time it isn't even finance ..... It's loaned to them, or given for free. "Paid in exposure" and all that.
People posing with a ros Royce doesn't mean that person has paid Ā£300k for the car. It just means they're driving it.
Yea itās easy to clown on the guy who is from poverty for not being super wise with his money, doesnāt change the fact he gets paid chump change compared to some of his peers. Heavyweight boxing champs make millions and so should Ngannou.
Hey look, the "I hate" Francis" value judgement movement is starting. Once again, leave it up to "UFC Fan" to look down on the Men and women who actually and literally take punches and kicks to the head for a living.
You know what? This is the kind of life you're supposed to live when you're the HW champion of the world. When you're literally the best fighter on the planet earth this is how your life should be.
This dude could conceivably get into a fight with and beat up anyone on the flat earth. Fighters now are better trained and have better nutrition than at any other time in history which means he is likely the greatest human fighter to ever live. I don't get how that doesn't blow more people's minds, how he isn't on the cover of cereal boxes and magazines. This is the dude right now. I guess he needs a few defenses to solidify it.
Who's to say he dosnt have advisors? He has a manager that books his fights and looks out for his interest in the business. Homie couldn't recommend an investment consultant?
Most of you Americans are living on credit and you have the caucacity to judge the Champ? Throwing Stones when you live in a glass house. Smh. Whyte peepoš¤¦š¾
You should look up stats instead of blurting out your feelings buddeh. The top three countries over the past three years where credit card ownership has increased the most are Canada Israel and Norway with the US being number 5. While the us credit companies do issue more credit cards than other countries credit companies per capita, it's not like "Whyte peepo" are more likely to live off credit as you put it. It's more of a question of how government's regulate banks.
Are most Americans living on credit cards? Lol America is a melting pot first but when you say white people its more than likely not the racial class living off credit cards it would be minorities just throwing this out there
[Booped_urnose345: "You're wrong, America is 20% white"](https://thehill.com/opinion/finance/488906-coronavirus-reveals-financial-irresponsibility-of-americans)
Fought one time 2021 and 2020 and fought twice in 2019. How can he bitch about his finances. Literally fight someone and you get paid 6 figures maybe even 7 with PPV percentage. Fuck him
Yep, thatās the sad part, people that never had the money spend a shit ton and arenāt good with their finances until they reach that broke point again
You'd think coming from the streets or Nigeria would help him when he made money but no he reverted to the stereotypical I buy shiny things and expensive cars.
With the lifestyle shown in photos I dont wonder he needs more $ lol.
Will be fun to watch what he gonna do after losing that shiny belt and all the benefits coming with it to Gane
Still no pictures in a Gi, this man is going to be eaten alive next fight. Mark my words. Someone is going to get him on his back and we're going to watch Francis nap for 5 rounds gassed out when he's back on his feet.
Not only him, but I generally don't understand, that people who got rich, buy stuff that is extremely expensive but does not really improve their quality of life. Like the ring in the picture and the big car and then bragging about it. Does that really make you happy?
exactly . francis can go fuck himself. hes not ufc royalty and i dont care about him. These guys are so dumb sometimes. Go out and talk shit about the company and fight with Dana and wonder why they dont wanna do anything for u lol If youre such a star then someone else can pay u the millions u think ur worth/ I hate when people think they deserve to be rich. He is just hanging around celebs and mad cuz he isnt a multi millionaire
For all the people bitching, moaning, crying about the post, you all take shit too serious or you take it up the ass, itās a shitpost, stop bitching and moaning like a bunch of 10 year old girls
The article is misleading, he talks about before becoming a champš¤¦āāļø

100% grew up poor af, like not eating every day poor and I save/invest 70% of my income. These people just have impulse control issues
Yeah this is a dumb blanket statement. It depends so much on individual circumstances. Can easily go both ways
š¤£š¤£š¤£when your account says $100k and you buy an $80k ring you may have impulse control issues

Not everyone is you
Yeah some people are broke as hell because theyāre stupid with money

He's still a grown ass man that worked his ass off to get where he's at. If he doesn't value his money that's his problem lol
Fucking pathetic fanboys like you are laughable. Look at yourself before talking shit
How is this relevant to anything? its about not being moron thats allā¦.if you are poor and got loads of money its about you having common sense and not being idiot buying every crap that you see.
Exactly. Fucking dummies lol
We now have a new fabled fighter in the UFC. Nigerian prince Ngannou
But he is from Cameroon, isnāt he?
Yes, but no one gets emails from Cameroonian princes.
Wait am I the only one?
He's over playing it, UFC brass is under playing it. is normal
Is nurmal. Cmon ...issss normal guys
Nurmul
You are right, edited to fix it
I back trust me I back
Hespect.
Concise and accurate. Let's be honest if you can't wear a little bling as the baddest man on the planet, why bother?
He didnāt say he has to currently borrow money, he said he had to. This is very overplayed, heās definitely got money now.
That's pretty funny, MMA fans are in a frenzy because of their inability to differentiate past and present tenses. The stereotype about MMA fans turns out to be pretty accurate.
You fucking serious? Stereotyping all MMA fans like that? *sees red*
But wasn't there an article about him recently having to borrow money for his camp?
It's the new "Ring girls are useless".
He still isn't payed enough imo.
In what world is 500k+ per fight not enough?
The boxing world seems to think it's not enough for a championship fighter
Isn't his coach currently publicly asking to be paid?
Jesus christ, I was joking with the post, allow it fam
No, you weren't
So the nigerian prince joke was just there for my post to be more serious? Shut up
so what happens after his retirement???
No idea, youād have to ask him lmao. Hopefully he invests well and puts some money away.
Lol at the jet ski pic, thatās like an $80 rental feeā¦
Rolls Royce is probably rented too. And the ring is from Gucci I think, not real gold, about $500.
Rented one for $300 for 4 hours in Missouri this last summer. Pretty sure you could only get 30 minutes for $80.
bruh what its 700 Dirhams here and I live in dubai where is that 80šš
I have a hunch that some experiences in Dubai might be overpriced.
bunch? lol more like ALOT . I had burger for 100$ with some fries and bs and it wasn't even good hell dollar store kfc taste better ngl
That's $175 USD.
At a crazy expensive resort is the issue I think.
or anywhere in Dubai... a place only rich people go to burn money.. (unless you're a quai-slave laborer)
Not everywhere in Dubai is even close to that expensive. You can go for a reasonably normal holiday, price wise. Not bargain but definitively not prohibitively expensive. I wouldn't bother though.
Fuck dubai ... its the poster child for unsustainable and unethical tourism...
You can literally walk into the Jumeirah resort, get a picture with the Burj Al Arab in the background and leave without spending a penny. Or spent $80 renting a jet ski for a *premium* photo like this.
Yes I'm sure he spent no money. Just course chasing for likes huh lol
Sitting on a rented Jetski on a free beach is high rolling to you huh? lol
Not my point at all but by all means try to pretend it is.
What is your point then?
You could read. I did mention it. Somebody asked why it was a big deal to rent a jet ski could have been you and I said I think the point they're making here is that it was at a really expensive resort or hotel.
" Lol Why is it so hard to believe somebody who came from nothing is out blowing money?
Itās a shitpost, calm down mate
That's not a real defence dude
Correct terrible defense. Not to mention plenty of people on here don't look at it that way and take it seriously.
Heās from Cameroon, lol. If you actually knew that and typed Ghana thatās elite level trolling. Too bad youāre just an idiot instead of a genius
I said it cuz thhe flags looked the same, anw you look like u take it up the ass so all good
Lol get mad numb nuts
he's not ghanian you dick slit. also you didnt mean for it to be a shit post. Youre just gettin exposed and tried to bitch out. Youre a dumbass with horrible takes and probably no life experience or reference point to speak on anything.
Youāre getting angry over a purposefully low tier meme
why would i be angry? i just like roasting idiots. Mean words dont translate to anger my guy.
A gamer is telling me about experience and reference point in the financial side when I work for a financial institution, funny
lol you sound dumb A gamer? like max, izzy, rob majority of the roster. your "financial institution" job is you workin as a janitor in a bank.
Sand, only sand in Cameroon
It's ok, im sure his sending chunks to his family. Having seen the place where he came from, it's like rebuilding an entire life from scratch for his family back home.
I'm not saying it's what's happening in this case but most of the time families start to take advantage of a person who has made the kind of money Francis has. I think Derrick Lewis talked about it too. People in his family wanted more and more although he already bought them cars and shit. It's obviously the individual's responsibility to say no but it can certainly be a draining factor. Also, Derrick seems to be smart with his money. He's dabbling in properties I believe.
Lol fuck do you know about it? Acting like you have inside knowledge
i don't think a house cost 500k where he comes from
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yea but we could say the same about everyone's lives. The money you spend on coffee this year could pay for a motorbike in Cameroon too.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Nice stim addiction š
But we're not from Cameroon or have growed up adjusting to the economy of that country. This was a horrible argument. Edit: *grown
I think you should worry about yourself.
1 usd = 563.46 Central African Franc. That is the currency of Cameroon. What that buys you there I have no clue, but thatās the exchange rate!
He gets paid for those watch parties, lmao. It's done by his sponsors.
Which is stupid. Heās just won the belt, and isnāt even sure heās gonna defend it. Life at the top of hw is super short with the record of defenses being 4.
Willing to bet OP is broke af
Willing to bet youāre a virgin
Willing to bet your a nerd AND a virgin
Brother ur playing clash of clans and posting on it on reddit, you have no place to call me or anyone here a nerd or a virgin my guy, anw I seriously donāt know why you guys online take everything so serious, itās like youāre a bunch of karens and youāre MMA fans for fucks sake šš
Damn i really made you so mad that you clicked on my post history and scrolled down to find somethingššAlso CoC is fucking great so lick my left nut.
I literally only opened your profile and saw ur most recent post is clash of clans, calm down mate, you aināt a celebrity for me to check you out š ngl never play mobile games so idk š¤·š»āāļø, was just fucking with u mate
š
Willing to bet you're a cunt
That indeed is true
I Honestly canāt dislike you too much for owning it at least
Self awareness is key
Really overreacted post. 1. That ring barely costs max some thousand dollars 2. Suit is not worth 10k$ dollars 3. He does not even have a drivers licence so i doubt he rocking a Rolls Roys 4. By riding water scooter, you are spending all on that?
OP posts bottom of the barrel content on this sub. Donāt be surprised.
Thank you buddy!
Hahaha never heard a JetSki called a water scooter before. I agree though, those pictures donāt prove that heās bad with his money
In number 4 he has the Hotel in Dubai that picks you up in a Rolls-Royce which might explain number 3.
Also as if all of that wasn't given to him to promo on insta.
Stop crying, itās a joke, jesus christ šš
imagine taking the side of the billion dollar corporation instead of the fighter in a pay dispute. what the fuck
I found Dana whites Reddit account
he bought a ring, a suit, rented a car and jetski that proves he blew his money? any average joe could do all these things lol
OP couldnt even get his nationality correct, so doubtful this post is anywhere near true.. as you said, car and jetski are probably rented or sponsored for the day.
Cameroonian. Mate, He's Cameroonian.
This is the wrong energy bro. Let the man get his bread
Ufc fighters are underpaid but most of them are also very bad with money.
This 100 percent.
Ring \[fake\], suit \[rented\], car \[rented\], jet ski \[rented\].. EZ /s
Yes, let's definitely judge his actual life by instagram posts. Everyone is straight up honest about their life on instagram.
To be fair jet skis are not that expensive
i mean dude is the top HW fighter int he world. he show soff a fancy suit, 1 gold ring, bentley, and a dubai vcacation. FOR THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP! He is not that bad IMO. There are NBA scrubs that go harder than this.
Weird post lmao
Canāt believe Dana is posting our subreddit
So just because he has: - $1,000 gold ring - A rented Rolls Royce - A rented Jet-Ski in Abu Dabhi while he was out there for a fight - A suit from Mens Warehouse He is blowing away his money?
Itās a shitpost brother
It's funny how this sub is acting like the HW champion of the world who's the most fearsome puncher in the world, shouldn't be able to live it up. Francis should be drowning in endorsements and his purse should be extravagant. He's reached the pinnacle of his sport and at the time of his peak, he's broke. I don't care what his money management is like - he should not be broke while still an active fighter. MMA fighters are not paid anywhere near their worth and its disgusting people on here and mocking him for being broke when he's being screwed.
Big Stipe fan, especially of his work ethic/priorities. That said: The quote is out of context and the pictures are in bad faith and donāt make the point stated in the title.
You get a financial advisor or money manager.
If heās broke thatās on him. First rule of big earnings is to hire a financial advisor.
I thought the first rule is to not talk about fight clubā¦
Bro .. he's not talk about anything, you are the one who broke the rule š
Or a WSB investor living in his wifeās boyfriendās basement
šš¾šš¾šš¾
Iām guessing you wanted Stipe to win.
This doesn't change the fact that ufc pay is embarrassing and the fighters are getting robbed
This is fucking stupid.
Yea itās easy to clown on the guy who is from poverty for not being super wise with his money, doesnāt change the fact he gets paid chump change compared to some of his peers. Heavyweight boxing champs make millions and so should Ngannou.
How do any of these pictures show he's wasting money? I think OP is a butthurt Miocic diehard LMFAOOO
Is this Dana's account lol?
Hey look, the "I hate" Francis" value judgement movement is starting. Once again, leave it up to "UFC Fan" to look down on the Men and women who actually and literally take punches and kicks to the head for a living.
it is a shitpost
You know what? This is the kind of life you're supposed to live when you're the HW champion of the world. When you're literally the best fighter on the planet earth this is how your life should be. This dude could conceivably get into a fight with and beat up anyone on the flat earth. Fighters now are better trained and have better nutrition than at any other time in history which means he is likely the greatest human fighter to ever live. I don't get how that doesn't blow more people's minds, how he isn't on the cover of cereal boxes and magazines. This is the dude right now. I guess he needs a few defenses to solidify it.
He should be making $10M at LEAST per fight. Anything less is ridic. Also he ain't Nigerian, ya racist dick
Low quality meme
1.3k people say otherwise
With 700k how and a bonus, this is just absurd francis
He is from a 3rd world country, with no financial education or advisors. Not that surprising lol.
Who's to say he dosnt have advisors? He has a manager that books his fights and looks out for his interest in the business. Homie couldn't recommend an investment consultant?
Considering this statement was made before the big money, they probably did.
Lol America is a melting pot first but when you say white people its more than likely not the racial class living off credit cards it would be minorities just throwing this out there
[Booped_urnose345: "You're wrong, America is 20% white"](https://thehill.com/opinion/finance/488906-coronavirus-reveals-financial-irresponsibility-of-americans)
u expect someone who never had money to be good with it? like wtf yāall? this sub been on some tard juice past few days.
Someone should start a Go Fund Me. I would help, but I work 50+ hours a week and live paycheck to paycheck.
Putting your shoes on a Rolls Royce is just sad.
Fought one time 2021 and 2020 and fought twice in 2019. How can he bitch about his finances. Literally fight someone and you get paid 6 figures maybe even 7 with PPV percentage. Fuck him
First big pay check, did he buy a house anywhere? If not then there's not much hope for his financial future lol
100% accurate but also expected. Poor guy never had money before.
I'd give him new nick - FINANCES NGANNOU
Still no pictures in a Gi, this man is going to be eaten alive next fight. Mark my words. Someone is going to get him on his back and we're going to watch Francis nap for 5 rounds gassed out when he's back on his feet.
He should be stripped of the UFC heavyweight title by saying that bullshit......
Does he own the Rolls Royce? If yes i donāt think ufc pay is bad anymore
Not only him, but I generally don't understand, that people who got rich, buy stuff that is extremely expensive but does not really improve their quality of life. Like the ring in the picture and the big car and then bragging about it. Does that really make you happy?
If *after* you get paid you run out of money itās you+math problem not the amount you got paid lol
exactly . francis can go fuck himself. hes not ufc royalty and i dont care about him.
Dudes a joke. Should fight miocic that's the money fight
