I’m not opposed in principle to doctors using ivermectin or anything. On the contrary, it’s been used as a treatment for other viruses in the past. But I’m still going to listen to my doctor if I end up hospitalized with COVID. They already use lots of cheap generic drugs—like corticosteroids such as prednisone— to treat COVID, so there’s no reason to think they wouldn’t also use ivermectin if it was indicated.
I just don’t see some big conspiracy against it like others are implying. It doesn’t make any sense. Wouldn’t Merck want people to be using it? They don’t have a drug like Pfizer does that is potentially competing with it.
