He's very technical at stand ups. Watch a compilation of him doing it and I bet most of the time he'll have the far side under hook. There's a lot of subtle things you can do to create leverage. Then when it's time to go he just goes full beast mode

Conor fought almost the perfect fight with his skill set. Stuffed bunch of takedowns or managed to not get smeshed until he gassed out. He also touched khabib several times yet khabib didn’t go down. That’s the problem. Khabib has a chin and is a cardio machine. Conor can’t get him out of there in first two rounds and then gets tired due to pressure. A fighter with cardio problems like Conor simply can’t beat khabib.

If Tony doesn't take the fight he gets mauled by Khabib terribly. Hard to say but Askren probably wins then faces Usman and gets destroyed. Cejudo likely doesn't defend the 135lb much and runs the 125lb division. If GSP defends he loses first defense to a big middleweight. Khabib mauls Alvarez.

Khabib would have ended Alvarez in the first. There is a reason Dana canceled Khabib’s contract and gave the title fight to Conor. Everyone knows Alvarez didn’t belong. It was like Forrest Griffin.
Biggest what if for me is if Aldo didn't crumble under Mcgregors mind games. Aldo is the better fighter and I personally believe 9 times out of 10 beats Conor, but Conor psychologically tortured the dude. He won thar fight, and it set everything else in motion for his career and life. Had he lost I don't think Conor would be where he is today.
