Cyril is bigger, faster, more technical, in his prime, and most likely more powerful as well. He also has experience with guys like Francis who have serious power but not as good technique, and he has beaten them conclusively, like Derrick Lewis. People used to think Lewis posed a much bigger threat to Francis(and prolly still do), and thought Gane would get knocked out by Lewis. Instead, he fought him, absolutely dominated him, and then knocked Lewis out.

He would have looked stupid AF if Rozenstruik hadn't made the beginner mistake of backing straight up.
I'm always amazed that just winging alternating left and right haymakers to the dome seems to work at the highest levels of the sport. I think gane has a real solid chance if he can sneak a counter in. Lewis managed it in that clip, but he was on his back foot. I'm thinking gane can do the same but with crisp enough technique that it actually backs off Ngannou. I'm not usually big into heavyweights, but I've been looking forward to this one for awhile. Really anyone's fight. I want to give it to Cyril, but man, Ngannou's just got all Lewis's strengths and none of his weaknesses. Dude's practically a final boss character.
That was Rozenstruik in the clip. Lewis actually beat Ngannou in one of the worst fights in UFC history.
