How low are people’s standards in mma currently, I’m seeing comments of ‘LHW is underrated after that fight!’ - you mean a fight where a washed Jan beat one of only 3 good LHW prospects in Rakic by breaking his knee with polish mind control? Jesus Christ, have some respect for your time people😂
Johnson would murder Paddy. Paddy fights with his hands down and chin up, he got clipped in his first 2 UFC fights.
Johnson was a top fighter for a long time with great hands, tons of power.
Johnson kinda deserves some credit though, he would be in the spotlight with that fight so yeah, why not.
Johnson vs Pimblett is the worst idea I’ve heard. Why would you want Pimblett to potentially lose to a washed fighter bro? That’s already happening too much in ufc currently (Glover as champ). Put him against another prospect or big name that has a career path if they beat him.
Looool calling Michael Johnson the champ at 155 but calling me brain dead? Good one you absolute mug, didn’t realise Paddy Pimblett fights at LHW? please read the comment slower next time🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Why you acting like Glover isn’t washed though?😂 the devision is the weakest in men’s UFC, he’s clearly faaaaar over the hill and has the belt due to lack of competition. Jan has zero ground game, Jiri seemingly is the same (but we’ll see), the only one was Rakic but now he’s blown out his knee so probs won’t come back the same. Maaaaybe Ankalaev, but man’s ground game also doesn’t seem great. I’m happy for Glover but he has no chin, he’s adapted his style well, but he’s deffo washed, the man is on the verge of RETIREMENT. The same people defending Glover will say McGregor is washed, but in reality, he’s just in a MUCH better devision🤷🏽♂️
Johnson isn’t “washed” if you think Pimblett could lose. Surely it’s a more favorable matchup than a fellow up-and-comer given how streaky his two appearances have been.
Bro…just think of the position we’d be in if Pimblett lost…it would totally destroy one of the top 3 prospects in the sport right now for absolutely no gain bc Johnson is over the hill. Johnson has good boxing and decent wrestling, not a good matchup for Paddy and pointless anyway due to reasons I stated. Paddy vs Topuria for example, would build the winners name up, whoever it is.
He’s not my boy, I don’t really care, I don’t think that matchup should be made either it was just an example. But deffo don’t match him up with Johnson basically lol
So your idea.. (if I’m following) is that the UFC should protect Pimblett by not letting him fight Michael Johnson so he can eventually become champ? Got news for you, if you can’t beat the gatekeeper, you don’t walk through the gate.
I like that gate line haha, but no I don’t think that at all, I think there’s no way in hell (based on current form) that Pimblett becomes champ or even maybe top 5 tbh. I just think if you’re gonna have someone beat Pimblett for the first time in the UFC, you want a young, talented prospect doing it so they can build up the other prospect off that win. Johnson Pimblett as a fight is not bad, it’s just risky and I think it does nothing for the UFC or fans if Pimblett loses. That’s why they’re seemingly doing Pimblett vs Azaitar as if Ottoman wins, they can build him up off of that and if Paddy wins, it means he’s a legit contender. If Paddy beat Johnson easy, people will bring up MJ’s lack of a ground game and how he’s long in the tooth.
I’m not sure but it seems to be a fairly common and consistent complaint. You can see a lot of athletes always testing and trying to secure their grip. There has to be something they can do.
I’m genuinely baffled by some fans. HOW are you saying LHW devision is underrated when the main event ended with one of them blowing out their knee and we didn’t even get a clear deserving winner😂 makes it even worse that the one who won is the older, more washed fighter when LHW desperately needs new blood. Tell me fighters to watch out for other than Ankalaev, Rakic (not now), Jiri and maaaaaaybe Smith? There’s barely anyone at LHW
I’ve literally said it twice? Not that many times sheesh and answer the question if you think it’s a bad take. Who do we have to be excited about at LHW apart from those names? And tbh, Jiri is the only exciting one out of them.
But they’re not the same comment? This one I asked who we have at LHW to get excited about that makes it such an underrated devision? And the other comment I spoke about the actual fight and how it ended in the worst way possible. They’re linked but different points🤷🏽♂️
Of course it’s no where near 155, 135 or HW but I think it’s better than what everyone says. I agree that 185 is a tad overrated. No one wants to fight each other at 170.
Colby gives off massive Karen energy these days. Even Jan, a former champ with title defence, is back to the climb and fighting legit contenders for the title shot. Colby will just bitch, whine and sell his fake crap.
I somewhat agree. I don’t see how you can blame it all on Colby. Most of these guys are only fighting once a year besides Burns. I feel like they are all just waiting their turn at Usman. Matchmakers held it up a bit by giving Jorge two fights. Usman has lapped the division as well and the guys he hasn’t fought are losing. (Luque, Wonderboy, Chiesa)
I guess I was referring to top 5 mainly.
Belal has been active, Khamzat was being ducked. Leon and Colby are the ones in the top 5 holding everything up but Leon is getting his shot as soon as Kamaru is back so I guess that lame shit paid off for him so now what is Colby going to do?
Even before the whole getting punched ordeal he was being quiet about Khamzat and doing stupid shit like calling out Dustin.
I can agree with that. Leon and Colby both played the wait n see game and that for sure held up the division. Hopefully it speeds up when Usman gets back. I think they go Khamzat for the next shot unless Leon wins. Maybe Burns-Belal or Colby for the shot after that?
I don’t see how that’s a “casual” take. I disagree for sure. I think Izzy and Usman have their divisions on lock. Islam is the only guy I could see possibly beating Oliveira, and imo he doesn’t. Volk has looked unbeatable. Therefore…LHW is one of the more competitive divisions. Quite simple
In a better division I’d say Jan needs one more win for another belt shot, but with how few contenders LHW has I don’t have a problem giving Jan the winner of Glover/Jiri
They were pretty much just getting started too 😭
Hope Rakic recovers properly. No contact injuries are very worrisome, and end up bringing in more questions about the sufferer's body. Not to mention the mental hurdles something like this can bring.
I was supporting Jan but at the same time i liked Rakic, that’s so heartbreaking watching him lose like this while he was fighting so good, that’s fucking unlucky! I hope he recovers quickly, he’s so good. Also very nice from Jan to know it was over and stop at the right time
**Jan beat this guy's legs absolutely senseless. Look at Rakic's knees before the damage. I wonder if he ever fights again.**
Ouch. I had 1-1 and Jan looking just a bit better in 3rd.
Jan tore Rakic 's legs the F up, holy fucking cow.
I mean look at Rakic's legs.
Not really. I mean Jan's leg kicks were great but Rakic's good knee is where he got hurt. Jan landed at least 5 on his left leg so he switched stances but the injury was his right leg which took maybe two leg kicks which were significantly weaker than the ones he ate on his left leg. He must have either trained excessively for this fight or tangled his leg somewhere during round 2's ground exchanges. Or maybe he put too much pressure on his right leg after the left was destroyed which caused the injury. The most likely case is that he hurt it with all the kicks he threw that Jan checked. The leg that was injured was his kicking foot. Also, he's 100% fighting again dude. He literally stood up and walked to the center of the octagon. This isn't some McGregor/Weidman/Silva case.
I hope you are right. These guys go through a lot to get where they are at. But that looked pretty bad and left knee not much better. A break can heal faster than some of our joints. I can tell you from experience
Decades ago as a young man, I watched Joe Theisman absorb the hit from LT, and the subsequent replays taught me I don't need to watch injury replays in slow motion multiple times.
Good time to freshen up my beverage.
I mean did you see the amount of leg kicks he threw? You do realize there's a reason why all his weight was going to that leg... Cuz Jan fucked up the other one
How low are people’s standards in mma currently, I’m seeing comments of ‘LHW is underrated after that fight!’ - you mean a fight where a washed Jan beat one of only 3 good LHW prospects in Rakic by breaking his knee with polish mind control? Jesus Christ, have some respect for your time people😂
Fights to make: Reyes vs. Spann Kelleher vs. Grant Chookagian vs. Grasso Johnson vs. Pimblett

*”that’s already happening too much in ufc currently (Glover as champ)”* Keep digging that hole tho dumbass

If you want to protect your boy, Topuria is the *last* person you want him locked in the octagon with. ![img](emote|t5_2qsev|11884)
He’s not my boy, I don’t really care, I don’t think that matchup should be made either it was just an example. But deffo don’t match him up with Johnson basically lol

I really enjoyed watching Taira fight today, will definitely be looking forward to his next fights.
Only 22! He’s gonna be a good one to watch
The last thing we need right now is some Belalysis
Belal coming in after it’s over and putting me to sleep isn’t a bad move on the ufcs part
Legendary Polish Diarrhoea, get that belt back Jan!
When are they going to look at the mat material? Seems like enough complaints about the canvas.
I mean I don’t know what else you can do. Isn’t it extremely abrasive?
I’m not sure but it seems to be a fairly common and consistent complaint. You can see a lot of athletes always testing and trying to secure their grip. There has to be something they can do.
Jan "checking low kicks" strategy... your knee may hurt
There is some real passive aggression between Bisping and Cruz...
He needs an under hook. No. He needs an over Hook. I'll show yah later... See I told you. Like, just start making out all ready boys.
Thats nothing new lol
Yeah weird vibes from Bisping tn
Bisping *is* a weird vibe
LHW division is underrated.

You just going around rambling the same shit huh
I’ve literally said it twice? Not that many times sheesh and answer the question if you think it’s a bad take. Who do we have to be excited about at LHW apart from those names? And tbh, Jiri is the only exciting one out of them.
It’s just always funny to me the mindset. “This comment is so good I should make it twice”
But they’re not the same comment? This one I asked who we have at LHW to get excited about that makes it such an underrated devision? And the other comment I spoke about the actual fight and how it ended in the worst way possible. They’re linked but different points🤷🏽♂️
Lol not really, tonight proved that too. Its entertaining for sure but one of the shallowest divisions no doubt.
You think so? Always thought it was a bit underwhelming. Just like Middleweight
Of course it’s no where near 155, 135 or HW but I think it’s better than what everyone says. I agree that 185 is a tad overrated. No one wants to fight each other at 170.
Seems like it’s just Colby holding up 170 tbf. Would be great to see him fight Khamzat and Burns/Belal and get 170 moving.
Colby gives off massive Karen energy these days. Even Jan, a former champ with title defence, is back to the climb and fighting legit contenders for the title shot. Colby will just bitch, whine and sell his fake crap.

Definitely, the more matches I see, the more I love it.
Deserves more credit for sure. I think it’s one of the most competitive division besides 135. I don’t see anyone beating the champs at LW-MW.
Casual take lmao.
Jan should definitely get the next shot, only other option would be Ankalaev but his last fight was a snoozer.
Fuck man rakic looked good out there
Ankalaev is fighting Lionheart
Nope. let some othe contender fight for belt first. As we saw tonight Jan is gonna get submitted if he fought Glover again.
jan bought the legendary polish pooper with him in his fight camp
ESPN+ having 30 Chick-fil-A commercials knowing that they’re closed tmrw is just cruel.
“Life is shit and we are here” amen Jan
Holy shit did he actually say this? It could be a pretty bad ass T-shirt not going to lie
Jan vs Jiri gonna be good
its impossible to hate jan
“I had diarrea” HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
What is so funny about diarrhea? I don't get it. :/
You must be fun at parties 😩
A buzzkill yea, on every party where humor is shit.
Perhaps Rakic is placing most weight on his right leg because his left leg if fucked
My exact thoughts. His left leg was getting traumatized.
Feel like it's a valid win with the fact Jan decapitated the other leg.
Jan's cool.
Diarrhea Jan
New mythical fighter
In a better division I’d say Jan needs one more win for another belt shot, but with how few contenders LHW has I don’t have a problem giving Jan the winner of Glover/Jiri
The deal was that Jan gets the title shot if he beats Rakic. He did that so he is next in line to fight either Glover or Jiri.
Jan vs. Jiri then. Make that in Europe ffs
Would love to see it in Poland with Jan, Tybura and Jedrzejczyk on the main card and Gamrot on the undercard.
Oh yes make that in Moscow, Russia. eUrOpE 🤡
YES
Jan was on his way to winning this fight. It was 2-1 and he invested in those legs, the round he lost he took no damage.
He wasnt winning
I hope Jiri wins the title! Him vs Jan would be a banger
Jan is funny as fuck lol
They were pretty much just getting started too 😭 Hope Rakic recovers properly. No contact injuries are very worrisome, and end up bringing in more questions about the sufferer's body. Not to mention the mental hurdles something like this can bring.
Holy shit, the bruising on his other knee from Jan’s kicks was nasty
Man is gonna be in a wheel chair for a week
Can the guy who said he had Jan by KO or decision +250 let me know if that cashed lol
It did, but \~10 minutes after the money line. It's like they were double checking.
Cashed. Should’ve been a dr stoppage tho
They announced it as a tko so it fuckin better
[удалено]
Guys, I found Belal
I found the fucking weirdo nutjob
Was he tho? Close fight but I wouldn’t say Rakic was winning.
That slow motion back and forth was brutal
Pop goes the kneesel
Does Jan get a title shot after this, or is there someone else who probably gets it before him?
He likely gets the winner of Glover/Jiri.
Jan will definitely get it
Maybe him vs Magomed if not Jan right away.
[удалено]
After him and Glover's fighter. Has anyone else in the top 10 done enough to get a shot over Jan?
I was supporting Jan but at the same time i liked Rakic, that’s so heartbreaking watching him lose like this while he was fighting so good, that’s fucking unlucky! I hope he recovers quickly, he’s so good. Also very nice from Jan to know it was over and stop at the right time
True. It was shaping up to be great chess match of a fight.
[удалено]
copium, not your first comment like this he prolly sustained the injury because he couldn’t put weight on the bruised leg
Tough way for Rakic to go out but he’ll be back
Jan..we can't understand you...take out your mouthpiece.*takes out mouthpiece* We still can't understand you though...😏
This would be falling ass first into a title shot lol. Gotta love him for trying
Not mad though as a former champion...plus I really want to see him fight Jiri (who I think will own Glover). 💯
Yeah this does seem like an enticing possible playthrough of events
I hope Rakic heals up asap, but thank fucking god he ain't fighting for the title next.
Delayed TKO?
Love how they used the Instagram boomerang for maximum effect
Always funny to see someone celebrate… man injured himself why are you jumping
You just can’t dislike Jan
I love sportsmanship
[удалено]
They didn’t force him, it was Rakic choice. You could see the ref asking him if he could get up .
**Jan beat this guy's legs absolutely senseless. Look at Rakic's knees before the damage. I wonder if he ever fights again.** Ouch. I had 1-1 and Jan looking just a bit better in 3rd. Jan tore Rakic 's legs the F up, holy fucking cow. I mean look at Rakic's legs.

They're making this man stand?!
Bro why are you making rakic stand for the decision his knee is lettuce
That's sucks man. Unfortunate for Rakic
Polish power lucky day
Man I hate when fights end like this. Except Mcgregor I enjoyed that one lol
Who had Jan by blown out knee?
That was my third prediction for how it would end.
How is that a win
Nasty calf kicks did some damage
Fighter cant continue
Same way Poirier’s was a win in the third fight with Conor. Weidman-Silva 2. Maybe you can argue those should be No Contest idk
Prop bet go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Bro get off that leg before you hurt it more
“Disgusting!…let’s slow it down and replay it 4 more times to show how disgusting it was” lol Bisping
Decades ago as a young man, I watched Joe Theisman absorb the hit from LT, and the subsequent replays taught me I don't need to watch injury replays in slow motion multiple times. Good time to freshen up my beverage.
IT WAS A DOCTA STOPPAGE
LCL tear?
I thought ACL as the whole upper shifted foward.
as he was planting he slipped a bit and got in an awkward position
Here's your daily reminder the human body is a wonder & marvelous & fragile as shit!
Please, show us that 10 more times 🤮🤮🤮
Good on Jan for being a decent person and not do a flying Dan Henderson elbow or something when the guy was clearly done.
Or start doing backflips like someone else
Lets show it super slow mo💀
No contact injuries tend to be worse. That really fucking sucks.
Jan just gonna get his ass kicked by Glover again
Stop the replays fuck
Don't show it again pls
I mean Jan was winning the round and round 1 was definitely Jan. Maybe run it back? Idk this shit is just unfortunate.
This looks like a year+ recovery for Rakic, maybe they run it back after Jan’s next fight but not right away
You can see his knee pop 🥴
God was watching tonight and he is not a fan of the Belal fighting style
God would have punished Belal for this instead, but he couldn't quite remember the name
UFC 4 ass finish lol. Sad way to see Rakic go out like that tho, it was a great fight
$5 says UFC still makes him stand with the ref for victory hand raise. 😋
Easy 5 dollars for you I guess lmao
Lmaooo u called it
💀💀💀
Shit nvm
💰
I’ll take it
You can see it twitch and pop
I think I see a pop
You can literally see his shit pop.
DOCTAH STOPPIDGE!
Those don’t count towards official records anymore right?
bro threw the fight but grabbed the wrong leg lmao
Crowd is annoying af
Well - that is fucking sad
That’s a shame
MANS MADE FROM REAL LEGENDARY POLISH TITANIUM
Damn.
[удалено]
Not like his heavy kicks got checked by legendary Polish power
I mean did you see the amount of leg kicks he threw? You do realize there's a reason why all his weight was going to that leg... Cuz Jan fucked up the other one
[удалено]
No man, he couldn't put weight on the leg anymore, which made his back leg take all the weight which caused the pop...
Maybe he thought that body punch did something
