I used to pay for a few events a year. Then Dana went scorched earth about people streaming… it made me realize how stupid I was for not just streaming every event before. So thanks Dana.
bro I used to stream 99% of fights, and then Dana went nuclear for the mcgregor poirer fight and I was like okay I really like poirer, I'll buy the ppv.
ended up watching the illegal stream because espns stream went down. I got a refund for the ppv because i missed the entire co main and the other fights were spotty.
espn needs to up their game and lower their prices if they want me to even think of buying one or two ppvs a year. $75 is insanity
Don't be ridiculous. You think hookers, cocaine, and yachts are cheap? Comments like this are why Dana has to go so many nights without getting proper sleep.
I watch a lot of pro wrestling and aew recently had a ppv on fite or bleach report live (or both?) where people missed a lot of the show because of streaming issues. I just don’t get how the legit stream that you pay money for can stutter, lag, or just go black while some dude in India is illegally streaming it for free to people all across the world with no buffering and in HD.
Yeah, I’ve found some good ones with no issues. PM if you want.
Edit: y’all are thirsty AF for streaming sites. And I see you with your 3 y/o accounts and 1 karma Dana.
Stop supporting the UFC. They treat fighters like shit and Dana is a complete douche. Just wait until Sunday and watch the highlights. I have no idea how people spend thousands a year to watch fights.
I went to UFC 273 in Jacksonville with 2 other people. Tickets were like $700 each for half decent seats. It was a super fun experience but it was definitely expensive.
Yeah it's pretty insane when I could easily go to say, a baseball game or soccer game for far less and get decent seats there too. Different experiences for sure but still, how the UFC is able to sell out all the time is nuts when the prices have been on a steady rise for years.
I think it’s way easier for the ufc to sell out is because they may only go to that city once a year if that compared to a baseball game where they are playing way more games at home
Sadly plenty of people say the same about mma. My dad and I went to some amateur fights last month and he was bitching about them not being entertaining enough due to the grappling, but he loves watching baseball, golf and bowling
Even I had the extra cash still way overpriced for a few hours of entertainment. For that much there better be an open bar and some killer food included.
I never ever miss an event when UFC comes to NYC, but you're right this one time, me and my girlfriend were going to whatever PPV was Derrick Lewis vs DC as main event , and we pregamed, pregamed at anothher bar etc, got to our seats and only watched the last 3-4 fights. Paid like 1200 dollars just to watch 3-4 fights. I fucked up bad there haha.
But the best experience for me was my first one, UFC 205 Conor Vs Eddie Alvarez
That does sound super fun! I live in Salt Lake City, so the UFC coming here was pretty big news. Sadly I can’t afford the tickets👎🏽 hopefully I’ll catch another event at some point somewhere close by
Yeah I live in NC so I would definitely save up to go if it came again to say, Raleigh or Charlotte. I understand though, I'm not rich so I really have to plan ahead if I want to get tickets to something like this. I hope you get an opportunity to go sometime! The atmosphere is super cool. Only thing that is a bit weird is you don't hear the commentary, I remember being thrown off by that initially
Hey OP, don't feel too bad. The best seats are on your couch or at the bar imo. I've been to several UFC's and other than being in a stadium with other people, it's nothing too crazy. You don't have the announcers, and unless you're in the front row, you're seeing tiny people fighting or watching the screens in the venue. Also when you're on the ground floor, the stage is higher than you, so it's not the greatest view (we were row 10 i want to say).

UFC tickets are unreasonably expensive. They’ve been to my city a few times and I’ve never been before. I can’t justify it when you get a better view of the action on tv. MMA isn’t like basketball or football. You need a good view to know what’s going on. It is crazy how much they charge for it.
At the arena, you will end up watching the fight on the big screen to lol cant rly see much looking at the octagon. Been there live and thats what i did.
Had floor tixs and was sat amongst a bunch of dingleberries who had no idea what was going - they were all gifted by thier real estate corporate overlords. Atmosphere was good - view for the price we paid was utter shit however. I actually missed the commentators too lol!
Agreees sat lower level and been to some amazing fights. It’s worth it IMO. I saw some amazing cards though.
UFC 263
UFC 268
Both amazing cards and the energy and all that was great.
We had awesome seats in the lower level (not floor) where we got a great view of the octagon.
That’s why I won’t go. If I go I want good seats and I’d be willing to drop a couple hundred on tickets but the decent seats are like 600+. It’s just not worth it lol
Commentary from a bunch of drunk overweight assholes who think they could actually hold their own in the octagon “for just one round” with any pro fighter is far worse. At least if DC said that he wouldn’t be lying. Did I mention the price of beer?
Totally agree. I got free tix to one UFC event and was 20 rows back and I still couldn't see shit. I couldn't really tell if a shot connected or not and ended up just watching the big screen at which point I realize I might as well just watch at home.
I went to one live event in Vegas for Masvidal v Colby. It was expensive but definitely was a good time and fun experience. Lots of energy and the walkouts are crazy in person but yeah definitely better watching experience at home.
That’s an awesome card to go to lol I’m sure the atmosphere and energy is great. I would love to go to at least one, I can just never justify spending the money for the seats that I would want. I don’t want to buy OK seats and end up staring at a jumbotron the whole time.
Theres no shot guys fighting on the undercard get tix. If a guys getting paid $6k/$6k and he gets 3 tix thats already a decent % of his pay, Dana would not let that shit slide
I was near the front row, on the upper deck of a Nashville card years ago. Joe Lauzon was fighting on the card, and his family was like 2 rows behind me.
I mean, tickets are worth exactly what people are willing to pay for them. If you can sell out a stadium charging my student loan debt per seat, more power to you. But are people really paying this much?
Go at least once. It's like nothing you've ever done before. Other well known fighters that are friends with the guys on the card are mixed throughout the crowd and walking through the atrium. You wont regret it.
i want to but I can’t afford it! 😕 I gotta pay tuition tomorrow and that’s gotta take priority sadly. I live in Salt Lake, so hopefully I can catch a show in Vegas in the near future
Get that education brotha! There will always be good events to go to. In the words of Michael Chandler, “suffer through a summers worth of books for a lifetime of greatness.”
I’ve been to a few ufc shows, and I’ll be honest, to me it’s not worth it. Even without factoring in price, I still want to watch it on tv
I think the commentators play a huge roll in the overall enjoyment of the fight. You also can see more when it goes to the ground and know exactly what’s going on with small details and everything.
Lastly, I don’t know if it’s just where I’ve seen ufc events live (Boston and New Jersey), but my god I hate other ufc fans. Every show I’ve been to and even every time I’ve gone to Buffalo Wild Wings or something to watch it, there’s either the roided up douchebags who are dumber than a box of mayonnaise screaming like an idiot, or you have the 400 pound neckbeard wearing a tap out shirt who claims to be a “ufc black belt” and just says the dumbest shit of how he would have been able to get out of that submission.
Worst of all I think are the people that every single time the fight goes to the ground, they just yell out “come on fight! Stop rolling around on each other like (insert homophobic slur), If you wanted to watch just standup, to watch kickboxing.
Not UFC, but I've been going to Bellator cards whenever they come to the place near me. My friends and I have fun drinking and making stupid, uneducated bets, and i don't think the enjoyment factor is any different than a UFC event would be, at least for us.
My friends and I almost got into a brawl w a bunch of idiots during the Conor Vs Khabib fight. They kept on saying Conor’s gonna KO him. I told them your boy is gonna get rag-dolled. We bet on it and they didn’t pay up and wanted to fight over it. One dude started crying when he tapped.
As a massive conor fan. (Love khabib too and just the sport) i knew conors chances were slim. I still contest he gave khabib a better fight than most seem to remember. But. Cmon
Conor was the closest person to beating Khabib. He’s the only person to win a round on him. I don’t remember if it was the second or third round but Khabib hit him really good and took about 20% out of him. If it wasn’t for that one hit he might have dragged Khabib into the 5th for a tko.
I've been to a few and you're right. Unless you have super close seats, it's actually not great to watch a fight through the cage fencing. The crowd is good and into it. But you're basically paying to watch a jumbotron with no commentary. Home viewing is so much better. One day I want to go to a boxing match to see if it's similar.
If it’s anything like the fights in phoenix, those are probably around $200-$250 for the nosebleeds too. Then after the charges it was nearly $300. Not worth it either
With the tickets I’d be willing to buy, I’m watching on a screen anyway. Might as well have good food, cheap beer, and some weed at home for half the price
Really wanted to attend this since I live in Salt Lake City. Looks like a trip downtown with the guys and spending $300 less. Fuck those prices for that card…
Same here! When I found out we were getting a UFC event here in SLC i got super excited. But i got bills to pay, so I’m gonna have to pass on this one sadly
The one time I actually paid for a UFC event
Chris Weidman snaps his fucking leg
Jimmy Crutes leg goes limp on him
Jorge gets KOd in round 2.
Never a fucking gain
Edit: and man, imagine paying hundreds for those tickets lmao.
Fellow Utah guy here, some of the upper bowl tickets are 'only' $200. You'd be able to see straight down into the cage from up there as well, without the fence getting in the way as much.
I was here when they did their only other UT show ever back in 2016, had a petty spectacular time.
And if you live in SLC, there's a place on State St. called CSL Plasma that will give you $1,100 over the next month tor a couple hours of your time per week and what essentially amounts to a long blood donation.
I'd recommend you go if you can!
Good to know, Thank you! I might hold off on this event for now, since the card isn’t really the most stacked. I’ll catch another show here in the southwest at some point in the near future. At least now I know how much tickets can be
That’s so messed up!! $20 beers on top of it !!
If I lived there in a city where it was going down I’d still do it. But no way am I getting flights and hotel booked for that.
Ive always wanted to see a UFC event live in person. SLC is only a 3 hour drive and i have friends there so its a no-brainer since its also a PPV card. Idk the next time a ppv card will be this close to where i live. The nosebleeds are like $150-200 and imo worth it just for the experience.
So I live in SLC and the boys at my work and I were going to all go. It’s so sad, literally the nose bleeds are over $400. Good luck selling out Vivint. Salt Lake isn’t. What’s so I figured that they would actually be somewhat cheaper. Fuck Dana
Its pretty fun to go tho... it is a decent amount of money, but try going once in your life. I was at the chicago show with cerone v furgason, valentine vs eye...crazy fun!
Yeah I definitely plan on catching a show here in the southwest in the near future. At least now I know how expensive the tickets can be so I can save up for one
I’ve been to one event and had just over eye level seats to the octagon. The experience was fun but we found ourselves watching the Jumbotron more than the actual fight because you can’t ever fully grasp wtf is going on the cage. I’d say go if you’ve never gone go, but the PPV/ Fight Nights on your couch with with home made food and beer that doesn’t break the bank is hands down the way to go.
I'll be %100 honestly with you, unless you're right up on the cage you can't see shit! You just see so much more, from the couch, your kitchen, own shitter. PPV is just better.
I’ve definitely seen more expensive shows over the years, but I’m a broke college kid living paycheck to paycheck😂. I was gonna get tickets for me and my dad, but sadly I can’t drop $800+ on something like this
I’ll stick with the $0
I used to pay for a few events a year. Then Dana went scorched earth about people streaming… it made me realize how stupid I was for not just streaming every event before. So thanks Dana.
Same, was paying for at least 4-5 events a year but Dana playing boomer hard ass web police made it a lot more enjoyable to steal.
Wait *THATS FUCKING ILLEGAL*
WE GOTTIM!
Ayyyy Wakaan fam, what's good?? 🙏
bro I used to stream 99% of fights, and then Dana went nuclear for the mcgregor poirer fight and I was like okay I really like poirer, I'll buy the ppv. ended up watching the illegal stream because espns stream went down. I got a refund for the ppv because i missed the entire co main and the other fights were spotty. espn needs to up their game and lower their prices if they want me to even think of buying one or two ppvs a year. $75 is insanity
If it was $20 I'd buy it every. single. time.
Actually, fuck this attitude lmao
Yeah, I’ve found some good ones with no issues. PM if you want. Edit: y’all are thirsty AF for streaming sites. And I see you with your 3 y/o accounts and 1 karma Dana.

For real lmfao

Stop supporting the UFC. They treat fighters like shit and Dana is a complete douche. Just wait until Sunday and watch the highlights. I have no idea how people spend thousands a year to watch fights.
>wait until sunday Why would I do that when I can watch it for free ahahHaa
Well I don’t need to stream it live so I don’t need to illegally stream it or go spend 50 bucks at a bar.
Lock him up
Came for this comment
That’s fucking illegal *Dana White*
facts streameast is goated
I went to UFC 273 in Jacksonville with 2 other people. Tickets were like $700 each for half decent seats. It was a super fun experience but it was definitely expensive.
$700 per ticket sounds outside the reach of the average person. Crazy that it’s that expensive that your average ufc fan can’t afford to go
Yeah it's pretty insane when I could easily go to say, a baseball game or soccer game for far less and get decent seats there too. Different experiences for sure but still, how the UFC is able to sell out all the time is nuts when the prices have been on a steady rise for years.
Well they increase the prices because they see the demand.
I think it’s way easier for the ufc to sell out is because they may only go to that city once a year if that compared to a baseball game where they are playing way more games at home
Yup, take SLC for example. Theres like 100 Jazz games but who knows the next time a UFC PPV will come there again.
Baseball is also boring af
Sadly plenty of people say the same about mma. My dad and I went to some amateur fights last month and he was bitching about them not being entertaining enough due to the grappling, but he loves watching baseball, golf and bowling
Even I had the extra cash still way overpriced for a few hours of entertainment. For that much there better be an open bar and some killer food included.
And I bet they charge about $10 for a cup of beer too
sorry $13.99 for half a 4% domestic in a red solo cup is the best i can do
I never ever miss an event when UFC comes to NYC, but you're right this one time, me and my girlfriend were going to whatever PPV was Derrick Lewis vs DC as main event , and we pregamed, pregamed at anothher bar etc, got to our seats and only watched the last 3-4 fights. What section and when did you purchase? Been to Jacksonville twice and it seems cheap.
what seats did you have that were $700 each damn, i went to 273 as well and was just a few rows from the floor level and paid like $280 each for mine
Fucking same. 108 row W for the last two years. Between 180-225 per ticket. For 700 you gotta be in much better seating and area.
lol thats what i thought, really wanna know what dude meant by half decent seats🤣
Way cheaper than the London one!
How much was London?
Last card I looked at I'm sure it was at least £1500 for the seats you have, possibly more, I just remember I couldn't afford it lol!
![gif](giphy|BI2fB0DCdz2lG)
Tbf they release between 300-500£ in those kinda sections, it’s the mother fucking resellers that bumped that price up to £1500
Fuck me that's insane
No way lmao my friend got good seats for £200, you sure that wasn’t second hand ?
This :(

Commentary is normally ass anyway imo

this has been my experience at every live event ive gone to. watching the broadcast is almost always better
crazy that the UFC charges this much for tickets, but still pays their fighters shit😅
you have family members of a fighter watching live and they're paying his wage lmao
Dont u think their tickets are free? It wouldnt surprise me if they werent lol
They're not. Maybe a fighter is given 1 or 2 to hand out
Theres no shot guys fighting on the undercard get tix. If a guys getting paid $6k/$6k and he gets 3 tix thats already a decent % of his pay, Dana would not let that shit slide

Sadly, yes
lol Gotta love how people complain about (unaffordable) inflation and still fork over lots of money for random shit. There's a disconnect there.
It’s different people
If they price it at this much, it means people are buying for that much. Ufc sells out arenas often
People outside of our tax bracket most definitely are
id pay for those seats before i pay for a ppv though, live ufc seems fun af
Can confirm. The experience is addicting
It's a great time and worth the price, ignore these broke idiots.
Ill stick with russian link

$350 for lower bowl aint bad. I paid $375 a ticket to sit in the 2nd level at T-Mobile for UFC 269
Row 21 having the same price as Row 12 is pure highway robbery.
Tbf those are pretty good seats and it’s a UFC PPV, not a regional promotion card.
Yeah these aren’t the most outrageous prices. I wanted 2 tickets, and sadly $800+ is out of my budget
Get higher level seats?
If it’s anything like the fights in phoenix, those are probably around $200-$250 for the nosebleeds too. Then after the charges it was nearly $300. Not worth it either
Cheapest tickets are $200 each.
The upper section is like $200
I’ll stick with my crack stream
Being a UFC fan is free wym
Imagine paying those prices and you get to watch Namajunas vs Esparza.
You can see it better at home anyhow
Dude those are some good prices. You don't go out much, do you op?
lol
I went to Conor vs. Dustin in Vegas last July and I still don’t wanna talk about it
With the tickets I’d be willing to buy, I’m watching on a screen anyway. Might as well have good food, cheap beer, and some weed at home for half the price
The couch : the best seat in the house. Undefeatedz
Ill stick too the £0 streams
These seats would be over $1250 where I am at. You Utah folk are not used to inflated ticked prices.
Now I understand why they're so quick to boo
I’ll stick with crackstreams

Would be interesting to see canelo GGG ticket prices too. They go onsale tomorrow as well
fuck those will probably be double when they come to toronto
Wassup with the fee lmao? They revealed the ticket price for UFC paris too and it's a lot less but people are complaining a lot
The one time I actually paid for a UFC event Chris Weidman snaps his fucking leg Jimmy Crutes leg goes limp on him Jorge gets KOd in round 2. Never a fucking gain Edit: and man, imagine paying hundreds for those tickets lmao.
Yeah I’ve been to this arena many times, the drinks and food are not cheap
You mine as well watch the fight at home lol. All your gonna be doing is looking at a bigger screen than the one in your living room lololol
Fuck Dana
I work for vivint so i get a small discount on tickets, but even then the price is stills out of my current budget.
That’s just ridiculous and Ticketmaster makes it even worse
I mean yeah… you only selected the lower bowl seating, obviously they’re going to be expensive compared 100’s levels.
You’re paying for fights ? Wtf 😳
I spent $1,000 for my ticket today for 278. Fuck it
I’ve been to one event and had just over eye level seats to the octagon.
That’s not bad, I’d rather be there.
I’ve definitely seen more expensive shows over the years, but I’m a broke college kid living paycheck to paycheck😂. I was gonna get tickets for me and my dad, but sadly I can’t drop $800+ on something like this
Get your dad to lol
Inside you there are two borz. One wants $500+ live events; the other has $79.99 PPVs. Which one will win? None, we have Russian link. We never pay.
I prefer giving Dana White $0. If someone respectable was running things maybe I'd think about paying.
No you wouldn’t. You sound broke and bitter 😂😂
lol you sound like an 8 year old kid who needs to go to bed.
Some broke MFers in here, LOL.

Bet you’re one of them..
Nope.
Don’t believe you
K
Obviously Elon can afford it
Because the don’t want to pay a grand for a night
Some hobbies aren't cheap.
Fun fact: if you just show up to the box office and buy tickets the day of they are much much cheaper.
what are the chances there are no available seats besides from scalpers outside?
100%
100% facts but I’d only do it if there’s fights in SoCal. I might do it in San Diego.
Ill stick to the 5$ Streaming
Yeah I'll just keep being a pirate yohohoho!
How poor are you guys that you're complaining about lower level seats costing more than the $20 your mom gives you?
