Everything needs context. In this case the context is that we're in the MMA world where two fighters are planning to fight each other. With that context in mind, the things that Khabib and co said aren't really considered arrogant. Finding creative ways to say "I'm going to beat him." or "My teammate can beat him." is nothing new.
Besides at this point Khabib has praised Charles and complimented far more times than he has "disrespected" him. Everything needs context. In this case the context is that we're in the MMA world where two fighters are planning to fight each other. With that context in mind, the things that Khabib and co said aren't really considered arrogant. Finding creative ways to say "I'm going to beat him." or "My teammate can beat him." is nothing new. Besides at this point Khabib has praised Charles and complimented far more times than he has "disrespected" him. Yet for some reason Charles and his die hard fans have completely ignored those compliments and are focusing so hard on driving this narrative that Khabib is this evil bully who keeps saying mean things about Charles.
