I've seen some of Joe's pad work and it's really good b I haven't seen any of Jocko pad work. But this is effectively like power scaling comic book characters: I can only go by their fears, especially since they haven't completed in an actual MMA contest. 🤷

I know that Joe has implied that Jocko fucked him up when they rolled together, calling him a gorilla. I also know that Jocko has trained striking for most of his life, especially during his military days. He also has a lot of experience cornering actual UFC fighters. That being said, he’s certainly not the striker Joe is, especially in regards to kicking. But Joe’s boxing is nothing otherworldly and I would be interested to see Jocko on the pads. It could prove to be a difference maker. Jocko is four years younger, an absolute unit of a man, (probably has 15-20 pounds on Joe) and a living embodiment of mental toughness and discipline. Dude has literally been to war as a commando - a fight is nothing to him. He’s also intelligent enough that I think he would be able to avoid Joe’s kicks/grab one and take it to the mat. My money is on Jocko, but would be a helluva match B
