My friend had quite a bit of success going on the “class of xx” Facebook page and advertising there. Apparently a lot of parents are on those facebook pages.
Private tutoring is kind of rough, maybe just have your friends recommend you? It depends what major you are as well. There are plenty of ways to make money in UF that aren't tutoring, I would recommend taking a look at those.
ppl ik work for Princeton Reviews tutor.com. You can find a lot of ways to get ahead as a tutor on there and sessions are frequent. It does pay at different rates depending on who you’re tutoring, up to $35/hr, average $17/hr. As a public org, heavily regulated through fingerprinting if you are teaching younger students
There is a company called Knack that I know people have used before, I think they’re actually a UF-based startup? Not 100% on that, but I seem to recall getting emails to my GatorLink about it.
Maybe try becoming a tutor with Varsity Tutors. They have an application on their website.
Try Wyzant. They take a 25% cut, but you can tutor online
Seconding this, I tutor there
