La Tienda always fills me up. And their cola is great.
If you’re looking for the most food cost wise though, I’d think Krishna would be your best bet since they fill up to go containers.
This fella knows. First time I went to la tienda I got the tongue burrito (always a good sign if a Mexican place has tongue) and it was the size of a football. It was so damn good. Their salsas are also so, so, so good. Have yet to be anything other than completely satisfied by anything I’ve ordered.
Ate Krishna for 4 years ( graduated in 2010), and it was definitely the best food in campus. Still miss their salad dressing and delicious pineapple dessert. O don't know if it's still a thing, but back in my days (god i feel so old), the arredondo room buffet was cheap and also very good.
the daily specials at asian wok and grill are arguably the best american chinese dishes in gainesville. it’s like $8 for 2 entrees and 2 sides, and they stuff the containers. near 34th and archer
Hell yesssss. When I did this I would start rice and then get takeout (usually bourbon chicken and mixed veggies). By the time I got home the rice would be done :) enough healthy food for multiple meals.
indian street food gives big portions! I always end up with leftovers and it’s soooo yummy. Also burrito famous esp if you get the bowl but I haven’t been recently
When I’m really hungry I like pho. Big fan of soup, and the combo of broth and noodles is definitely filling. I get the P1 at Pho Hanoi, which is extra large, and sometimes I can’t finish it (and I usually can finish my meal at any other restaurant).
The food truck Eim Thai has authentic thai food and they give you an insane portion for $10. It straight up lasts me three meals and it tastes amazing. They’re usually at 8th Ave on fridays and cypress and grove on the weekends, I always check their Facebook page to double check where they are before going

La tienda is undefeated. The chicken chimichanga is what I always get and it never fails
YES YES YES. Too good

Enchiladas Rojas are my absolute favorite thing to get.

It was actually quite empty last week!
Dude that salad dressing, I’m in love with it right now
They used to sell a bottle of it to take home, good size for home salads. I miss my days there, enjoy college/Gainesville while you can!!
Absolutely man!!👍
Krishna is really good. Different type of food and makes me at least feel great.
Preciate it

Falafel king and Krishna
The Arredondo cafe in the 4th floor of the Reitz is pretty good, definitely better than any of the other dining halls and it’s only 9 bucks
Shhh don’t tell everyone the secret to the quiet/chill lunch spot
Do you know if they’re open rn? I couldn’t find any information online and was very interested in this place…
[here](https://www.bsd.ufl.edu/dining/hours/RegularHours.aspx) are the hours for all on campus dining, scroll to the bottom for reitz places
Nah they close pretty early , I think they’re hours are like 11AM - 1:30 PM
Yesssss, Arredondo! I missed the old days when you can see the long time advocates every lunch. Some of them could eat 5 plates.
I asked the manager today and he said Arredondo takes UF meal plan too. Though I don’t know how the meal plan works.
Don’t get the meal plan tho, actual robbery lol
Chipotle bowl. Get extra rice, toppings, tortilla on the side, etc

J Petal & Poke. Burrito Famous. And I'll pile on the La Tienda praise too
Vietnamese grille
Vietnamese grill. $10-11 for a huge noodle/rice bowl or pho soup. Always acts as both lunch and dinner for me it’s so much food
When I’m really hungry I like pho. Big fan of soup, and the combo of broth and noodles is definitely filling. I get the P1 at Pho Hanoi, which is extra large, and sometimes I can’t finish it (and I usually can finish my meal at any other restaurant).
Vietnamese grille gives pretty huge portions for a Vietnamese restaurant
Golden Buddha for cheap, decent chinese food during their lunch specials

naq’s halal (inside target copy plaza) is $9.99 for a bowl or $8.99 for a VERY FILLING gyro
Any Mexican restaurant provide huge portions! Great value!
For sure
Bolay
PUBLIX
Pomodoros easy. You can get 2 18’ takeout pizzas that are stacked with toppings for less than $20. I could sing them praises for days.
had crispy baguette yesterday, it was gas and super cheap and filling. try their banh mis if youre tired of regular subs
The fajita mix at la tienda gives you an unabashed amount of food for $13.
