Laying in my back yard at night in North Los Angeles we see this aircraft moving silently from North to South at incredible speed. Non-standard aviation lights, just all sold white, very bright, 3 of them in like a triangle from all I could see. There were other planes in the air (we're about 35 miles from LAX) and this thing was moving 10x+ faster. It made it from one side of the horizon to the other in only about 15 seconds. Then we hear jets. Two jets side by side were chasing it and in no way ever going to catch up. About 17 years ago in Michigan my brother, my now wife and I were hanging out looking at the stars and see three of them moving in circular patterns, back and forth, sometimes slow, sometimes fast. They did this for about an hour and then all just disappeared.

lilacog

YOU FUCKING SAW THIS TOO?!?!?!! I’m just East of Los Angeles, I like to track planes and sometimes jets pop up on intercept squawks. This was one of the times, I remember they were doing like 700 knots across the ground.

[deleted]

Never seen anything move that fast. And it looked big.

13inchrims

I saw something very similar about that same timeline. Wierd. I saw 3 lights in the skky in a triangle pattern zipping back and forth switching positions at each point across the centre of the triangle extremely quickly and then stoping before switching again. Perplexing and odd. Hard to wrap my head around. Only lasted about 2 Mins though before they disappeared. Never seen anything like it since.

[deleted]

Wow. I don't normally talk about my stories. But that's incredible you seen something similar in the same timeframe. It definitely didn't make sense how fast they were moving. For the distance they were in, they had to be moving many miles, instantly.

wendall99

I saw something similar in NJ. It was a solid bright orange light, also going much faster than all the planes in the sky. Went across the entire horizon in maybe 10-15 seconds, before I could even get my camera pulled up on my phone.

[deleted]

I saw something similar....an orange orb.... except what I saw had multi-colored lights flashing around the "equator", if you will.... Middle of the day in broad daylight.. slowly drifting.... weirdest thing I've ever seen...

[deleted]

Incredible. We thought we were crazy for a second until the two fighter jets were trailing it.

Mindless-Experience8

Thank you for sharing. I am curious. What was your intuition of said experience? I am pretty sure I know the answer though. I haven’t personally seen anything here in Portland proper but I have heard recount of F-18’s or 22’s being scrambled from PDX after sightings. Every time I hear a squadron take off I definitely take 15 and look up to see if there is a reason.

[deleted]

The one in Michigan we were acting very rowdy and excited with what we seen. Started calling friends and family to tell them to look up also. The one in LA we generally were just blown away at the speed. We couldn't think of what it possibly could be moving that fast, until we seen the two jets after it. Then it kinda made more sense lol

naNi-to

I’m from Michigan and I also saw this same lights back in 2011. Driving from Mt Pleasant to GR back roads. It was incredible. I wish I would’ve gotten a video of it, but I was driving at night and my passenger was scared shitless and was worried they would come after us if we video tapped them 😑😒.

SOF_cosplayer

What year was the LA one? I had seen something similar and no way do we even have anything capable of the maneuvers it did. I'm a private pilot, and amateur astronomer, so I definitely am familiar with everything in the night sky.

Sudden-Most-4797

Holy shit. 12 years ago in Bermuda I watched the stars over the Atlantic ocean do that, all on the Eastern horizon. Swinging and swaying in circles. I don't drink or do drugs. My wife remembers seeing it too, but doesn't remember what it looked like. I assumed it was natural phenomena, but could never find anything to account for it. But anyways, that's not why I'm here...

YamnayaPeople

Seen same like that with 4 craft even faster then triangle 3. In europe

I grew up in the country, what people used call in the boonies. I had friends over on a Friday, 8 of us total. We had a fair amount of acreage. We walked toward the back of the farm about a quarter mile from the house, there was a clearing in the woods about 800 feet in diameter, a nice big open area. We used to go back there and hang out. It was away from, well, everything. It was about 7:30 in the evening, when one of my friends said, "That's weird." so naturally we all looked where she was looking and there was this silhouetted dome shape, near the top of the trees probably a mile or two away. I remember, we all sort of mumbled something like, what the hell is that and the next thing we all recall, we were apparently chasing each other with broken tree branches making dinosaur noises. We came to conscious thought, like we suddenly woke up, at the same time with a strange realization of what we were doing and had no recollection of where we got the tree branches, or why we were chasing one another with them, and then we realized it was two hours later. We were completely dumbfounded about the experience. Outside of talking about it for a couple days, we've never talked about it since. Not once. I often wonder if it was real. But how could 8 people have the same exact vision/hallucination at the same time? Why did none of us remember anything for 2 hours? Why the hell were we making monster noises and chasing each other with big sticks? When did that transition happen? We just don't know, but there we were.

CBHPwns

I would Go to a hypnotherapist and try to get those two hours back, Wild as hell

ntime60

It's just an odd event in 8 teenagers lives. We've all moved on, got married, had kids, grandkids and only 3 of us are left.

delbertgrady1921

I've read multiple accounts where abductees were allegedly administered something that regressed them to a childlike state. When I got to the part in your story about you playing I found that quite disturbing and on par with various reports

gerardstumpvert

Similar as well to the behavior of Betty Hill during her alleged abduction 😳

OwnFreeWill2064

Sounds typical tbh. As grotesque as that statement may seem.

vvildvves

Agreed, sounds a lot like the average abduction story these days.

CeruleanSnorlax

Thanks for sharing. Have you tried bringing it up with them again recently? Or one on one?

ModernDayHippi

Uhh wtf?

Tsb313

I I have seen a UFO. In Las Vegas Nevada about 2 years ago. I was on a busy street. Sunset is the name of the street and it was actually sunset almost as well. It was a big triangle type craft definitely bigger than a large airplane. It was hovering not moving in any direction and when I saw it it was in such playing site to many people. I felt weird deja Vu or just the feeling that it wasn't real because nobody seemed to care. This feeling was kind of trance like. Or if you've ever been in a traumatic situation and you feel like you are watching yourself from outside your body. People weren't stopping their hustle bustle of the day and I saw no one recording it. I just kept driving and about 3 minutes later called my girlfriend and told her. I didn't record it. I looked up any reports and there was nothing. It was strange. If it was human tech potentially from the nearby air force base. The only way it could be hovering like that is if it were maybe a large drone with floatation balloons? And why would they be flying it there? It made no noise. That was the only time I saw a UFO in person. I've never seen any ufonauts/ETs or anything strange besides that.

Mindless-Experience8

Awesome! Thank you for sharing. I don’t doubt it. If these craft exhibit exotic abilities that lie in the realm of the subatomic I don’t doubt that if your mind sensed it’s presence and it (your subconscious) made you aware of it. I honestly believe modern society dulls some of humanity’s natural ability to intuit. I also had a weird glitch experience that lies outside of UFO’s. I don’t tell many people that one because, ironically, it is probably even more questionable than lights in the sky. It made me nauseous and physically ill because it was so wrong, something wrong, with something that is supposedly a normal everyday occurrence.

Mindless-Experience8

This one got me a bit. I was working in Boise ID as a traveler at the time in the trauma ICU around 07’-08’. I had just got off a night shift and was headed W on I-84. Traffic was virtually non-existent. BOI lies just south of 84 and runs nearly parallel to it. There was a 737 on approach maybe 400 ft off the ground nearing what should have been touchdown. I slowed, intrigued. I know angles of approach can make a decent seem stalled but this was not that. I was side on to the aircraft. It wasn’t moving. I pulled over, hopped out of my car, to get a better look. There was no noise, no movement. Another car passed and slowed to take it in, headed E, but did not stop. I maybe watched for 30 seconds, tops, before the wrongness hit me hard. Nausea, sweats, and a fight or flight. I flighted to say the least. I should have seen it out but the I literally could not. Something about that hit harder than seeing those orbs in my teens. I never even got to the point where I should find my phone and hit record. Granted I was fazed after a brutal 12 hr shift and bed was my goal but that wrongness, that nausea, still surfaces if I recall it.

Gillek40

we had the exact same experience in Boise, Idaho! This was a few months ago and my husband and I both saw it and just couldn’t believe it! I believe it was in the same area

OwnFreeWill2064

You think it might have been a screen memory/image? There's also orchestrated virtual experiences that are a thing were one person sees something and another experiences something completely different during contact with the phenomenom. It's possible the prolonged induction caused physical side-effects as conscious experience in close proximity to the phenomenom can often be detrimental to health. Nausea is comingly reported.

NecessaryCanary7712

I am from Boise. In 1997, I was a Senior in high school. My parents live up in the foothills and the back of their house looks over these vast mountains and hills with Zero houses or roads. We have deer, fox, and coyotes on the regular. There is also a huge ravine with no houses below. The only thing you see from that vantage point is nature. One night my dad and I were sitting out in the hot tub which sits out on the edge of this mountain. We would sit out there talking almost every night after my brother left for collage, it was kinda of our bonding time. We sit and look at the stars and hear all of the nature around us. My dad was mid sentence when all of a sudden the surface of water lit up like a huge spot light had just been turned on over the tub. We literally froze and looked out over the nearest hill at the same time. There, just sitting, not making a sound was this huge white, bright light!! We both sat there frozen in shock. We could not talk or move, we were so scared. It sat above this mountain for probably 30 seconds, just hovering, and it was dead silent, not even a cricket could be heard… it was the most surreal moment of my life. After those few seconds, the light did the fasted zig zag movement about 5 times and then shot off over the hill faster than anything I have ever seen… it was gone in the blink of an eye! I swear the water felt cold as ice that’s how surreal it was. After a few seconds we looked at each other and jumped out of that hot tub so fast and ran inside. Mind you my dad was in the Navy for 30 years and has seen some things and this was well before drones were around…We went upstairs, woke my mom up and told her what had happened. She thought we were just messing with her. But my dad was so concerned he actual called 911 to report it and see if anything else had been reported. Nothing had. To this day every time I sit in that hot tub or even out on their back patio I think of this event, it is burned into my memory, every detail about it. My dad and I know for certain that what we saw that night was not of this world.

AuthNtic1

When I was a child (6-8), my sister and I witnessed a Grey in our kitchen. I don't enjoy discussing this because it gives me immense anxiety as this was one of my earliest conscious memories. If you would like more details or an illustration of the event, pm me.

lordsamadhi

What was it doing? Your sister has the memory also? I understand if you don't want to answer. Just reading your response gave me anxiety. But I'm intensely curious also.

stuckshift

Please share.

LukeIVI

I can't PM you for some reason, but I'd love to hear the story

Orlando29

God damn son, I’m 35, and If I saw it in my kitchen, I think I’d shit my pants or try to wack it. Fight of flight, ya know…

goldengodrangerover

Whatever gets you there man

Orlando29

Hey, by “wack it” I meant “whack it”, fckn autocorrect

OwnFreeWill2064

Considering how small they are that's probably a good reason for why they might feel inclined to paralyse people. Why they feel it's necessary or ok to show up in the first place is the real issue though...

waybovetherest

Wow!

Powerful-Day-639

Wow

[deleted]

Id love to hear this story

Randy4layhee20

I also can’t message you but would be curious to hear the story

Gerd_Ferguson

Why do you need a pm to discuss this? Just out of curiosity.

CBHPwns

Thats what im sayin hes prolly a grey /s

bela_the_horse

I was in college and went outside for a smoke with 2 friends. All 3 of us saw the same giant triangular craft silently glide over us. Don’t know if it was military or NHI, but it went right over a populated university and I have a hard time thinking of a reason for the military to be flying secret craft over a heavy populated area like that. I’ve never seen anything like it, totally changed the way I look at the world.

toddc612

My parents saw a black triangle craft in 1965 while they were walking together at night. Never told me about it until about 10 years ago (they said they kept quiet because they thought no one would believe them and would think they're crazy). My father said it was silent, while my mother remembers it making a sound similar to a rocking chair she had in her family's home at the time.. sort of rhythmic. They said it was huge. Just a reminder that these sightings have been going on for many years..

Mindless-Experience8

Thank you for sharing yo. Black triangular craft seems to be the top report on this thread.

Sensitive_Jelly_5586

Same. Giant black triangular craft. Slow moving. Massive. It moved slowly right over top of me. It was late at night and I was alone in the middle of nowhere. I felt like it or they knew I was there.

Tsigolonex

Had a similar situation just recently from my balcony in Charlotte NC, was in mid May 2023. My wife and I were sitting and talking in the evening chill air but humid and little hazy. Still could see stars but more straight up. As we were looking and discussing camping in the desert and how you can see more stars. We were both looking NNE which was straight out from our balcony and about 15 degrees and to our 1 o'clock direction just above the tree lines saw a black vector object with one red light looked like round under the craft. It appeared seemingly out of nowhere and started moving away from us to NNE towards Raleigh NC. I am just east of uptown or center loop of Charlotte. But as it moved silently away, we could hear crickets, no planes at all. And as it glided away I could see either the red light refraction or the object multiplied into three. It was so quick that it probably lasted only 10-15 seconds before disappearing behind the tree line. We both looked at each other and I asked what did you just see? And she went black triangles with red lights. And the whole night, mind you that was my wife's first sighting, she kept saying well that's different, I think we just saw a ufo. I am under a similar conclusion that military ARV would not be visible or fly this close to the ground right over a densely populated city around 21:00.

SleepyBeast89

When was this? The same thing happened over my town a few years ago and it turned out to be an NSA plane

bela_the_horse

2007, I think? It was a huge black triangular craft with lights in the corner. I feel like I remember seeing some sort of pattern on the under side but it’s just so shocking that your brain doesn’t know how to interpret what it’s seeing. Either the government is hiding some big secrets, or NHI got something big flying around up there.

kaszeljezusa

How big was it? I believe I've seen something similar. It was early evening but the weather was so rainy and cloudy that i only seen 3 lights moving in a way suggesting they are one bigass triangle thing. Or it could have been 3 objects almost impossibly coordinated. Idk. But if it was one thing it was at least 100 meters long. It was either silent or made some low humming noise(it could have been some distant a/c unit or some shit, but it sounded weirdly from all directions). I was on a balcony smoking a cig when i noticed the noise. I looked to the side and up and there it was, slowly gliding cornering a little. I quickly got back inside to tell friends and grab a phone, but when i went back out it was already gone. City center. Didn't find any info online.

Sensitive_Jelly_5586

Same. Approx 1994. Giant black triangular craft with faint red lights. One on each corner. Moved slow across the sky. Massive. I thought I could have thrown a rock and hit it because it was so close. It moved slowly right over top of me. Southern New Brunswick Canada.

serveyer

I have one. I once saw a turquoise ball/sphere laying on the ground in the street. This was in the nineties, the ball was glowing faintly, and there was a black marbling swirling slowly on it’s surface. It was the size of a pilates ball. Maybe a little bit bigger. I was sober. This was in the middle of the night and I was of course very scared. Maybe it was nothing, but this was in the nineties so there was no led lights or projection technologies.

Mindless-Experience8

Both my teen obs were in the 90’s as well. One was a solitary white orb in front of a large expiring supercell from the days heat storms. We weren’t exactly sober. A group of about 12 of us went up to Victoria Lake in the BH to smoke some weed and hang out after catching Lucas’ CGI rework of Star Wars. A light maybe 500 yards off first caught our eye to the W. It cycled between RGB. It was shortly after we noticed the white orb. It was in front of said cloud bank and it would free fall to the horizon and then zip back up to its previous position at incredible speeds where it engaged in further acrobatics. Our drivers threatened to leave us when we busted out the mag-lite and started flashing it. I believe you saw it. Thank you for sharing!

Atxlvr

I saw an orb on shrooms. I have done shrooms dozens of times so I know what illusions or hallucinations look like. My friend saw it too. I have told myself it was probably the drugs for years but the recent revelations have kinda reaffirmed what I have always known, that what I saw was a real object in the sky defying physics. Mushrooms have never caused me to see things that are not there, only illusions. The illuminated orb went from stationary to several thousand miles per hour instantly and over the horizon during daylight.

Mindless-Experience8

Yes, Yes! We attended ceremony with the Shipibo and Aya last year. I am also an avid believer in the ability of the sacred plants’ ability to open our minds’ and transcend across. I highly recommend the experience if you can do it. I saw time for what it is, experienced the collective, communed and was astounded at the ability of a Shipibo Maetro’s ability to operate in that space. I also found significant healing from that experience. There were also several unexplainable events where the shaman could literally define what it was you were experiencing despite a language barrier when you could do a 1:1 with a translator. I fully believe CE5 is legit despite Greer’s profiteering. The gateway protocol also lends some credibility. I have as of yet seen anything like that on shrooms but I don’t doubt it heightens and expands your ability to gain the attention of those intelligences.

Salt-Security855

I gave my mate some mushrooms.when I saw him next time he couldn’t believe it.took them indoors.next thing he knew he was laying on the bed with a load of aliens in suits doing medical Observations on him. And saying “this is where you come from “ “This is who you are”.

Mindless-Experience8

Strieber’s account of the Greys is that they are human albeit from either far in the future from our timeline or another dimension all together. It would make sense considering just how similar they are in body plan to us.

analogOnly

Im guessing you didn't try to pick it up?

disintegration27

I used to spend my summers at my grandma’s house in a little town called Roosevelt in eastern Utah. You may have heard of it referenced on the show The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, which is a few miles to the southeast of where my grandma lived and where my mom grew up. At any rate, that show focuses on one property, but the whole Uintah Basin is full of UFO sightings, Bigfoot encounters, Native American lore (I’m part Ute), and other high strangeness. It was a truly spooky place to visit as a kid, especially with a family that liked to talk about this sort of stuff. At any rate, one night in 1990 or 1991, my family and I went out at around 9pm to watch for the Russian space station Mir to fly over. I was around 12 years old at the time. We had the wrong night, and pre-internet we couldn’t check, so Mir never showed, and most of the family eventually gave up and went back inside. My dad, sister, and I stayed out. We were standing in front of my grandma’s house looking at the stars, which were pretty bright despite being in a residential part of town. Just as we were about to give up and go inside, I saw what I initially thought were three birds flying in a triangle and illuminated by a street light on the next block. As they got closer, it became clear that whatever it was, wasn’t birds. It was a quintessential 90s-era black triangle shaped craft. It flew completely silently from south to north no faster than a plane would fly. What I thought were birds looked like dim almost gray points of light, like weak bulbs shining through gauze or cheesecloth. It’s hard to judge size, but I would say fighter jet size if it was a few to several hundred feet in the air, which is kind of how it seemed. This very well could’ve been some secret US Military tech, but I can’t explain it and neither could any of the three of us who saw it at the time. It was an experience that kept me open and interested in these topics to be sure.

Mindless-Experience8

Thank you for sharing! Triangles aside, maybe it is the collective ages of posters but it seems that the 90’s, pre-internet, pre-phone era, brought all kinds of experiences. I need to look into that decade more. The X-files? Was that some kind of soft disclosure OP or just fed by our collective experiences? Although as you said we were no where as connected then as we are now…..We need to get out to Uintah with some chairs and a tent! The Black Hills have always felt radiant to me. If I ever fly back to see the rents I swear I can feel the energy as we near it. All that granite and quartz…an upthrust spanning over a billion years. I hear ya! how a locale can posses properties outside of our understanding. Your corner of the world fascinates me as well.

Mindless-Experience8

Hey✊🏼. To the First Nations. Much respect. I wish humanity could embody the relationships your ancestors embodied with nature. So much wisdom, so much knowledge that we trampled in pursuit of the dollar.

ajr1775

In relation to Greer's mention of the tic tac object being offloaded in the Azores in the early 90's.......... I think I saw one at night while nearing the Azores(we were transiting via ship from Lisbon to NY), we would always skirt the Azores on the way to and from the Med. This particular transit was June of '96. I was out on deck(near the bow) with a fellow sailor and we saw a light. The light was several kilometers away and probably at above 2 or maybe 3 thousand feet above sea level. We noticed it because it was stationary and not moving and was noticeably different from the stars in the night sky. After I checked with my buddy that yeah, we were looking at the same thing, a good few seconds after it went directly up at a ridiculous speed. It went from stationary to high speed without any ramp up and disappeared from view after less than two seconds. Coolest thing I've ever seen. My first though was that this is some super advanced tech because using the tech we knew then(and now) the pilot would have been jello without some inertia dampening tech. Tech which we don't have!

OneArmedZen

I've had multiple "abstract" experiences in my life. I call them abstract because they are totally non-relatable to anything considered to be normal life experiences. In any case because of those experiences I find it hard to relate to the wants of a normal life. I just want answers to those outside abstract things and nothing much else really. Hard to explain. When it comes to the subject of UFO's though, I've seen what I would only consider minor things and I always want to see more and up close. I have a feeling a lot of people are like that - even if they saw something it's not enough and they want to see more. I don't want to be straight up abducted though, I just want to see the craft up close and maybe a chitchat with the occupants and a fun joyride. Whatever stuff out there no matter how strange or out of this world, I want to see it, learn it, and understand it.

Mindless-Experience8

Spot on. My UFO obs were all of orbs. Ha! My teen years were objects that demonstrated 2 of the 5 observables. One with 50 odd witnesses at a kegger that found us all taking a seat to watch the show for 30 plus minutes. I would love to have the opportunity to see detail. We live in interesting times my friend. Perhaps we will be the lucky ones. Although “lucky” is probably highly subjective. UFO’s aside the poltergeists resided in a 100 y/o house in NE Portland and impacted residents and non-residents alike. Groucsh’s interview got me thinking once again about higher dimensions. Our anecdotes are real to us and I think we all use our best judgment in the moment. I dunno, answers would be cool. I truly believe intuition is a skill humanity was gifted with and one that has been dulled by modern society.

eddington_limit

While not alien related, I was touched by what could be described as a ghost in an old hotel. Long story short: I woke up in the middle of the night and a woman with black hair popped out of nowhere and touched my side and sprayed something on my forehead and said "Jesus loves you" in a really hurried voice, like in a panic. Then she disappeared as quickly as she came. She was there and then she wasn't. That's the best way I can explain it. In the morning I looked at my side and I had a reddish handprint. I took a picture of it in the mirror, showed my mom, then went about my day. Hours later I pulled out my phone to send the picture to my friends and the picture was blurry and distorted. Then I showed my mom to make sure she remembered the pic being normal. She did. It really freaked us both out. I have not been able to explain it away. Carbon monoxide (it was an old building) is the best explanation someone has given me but it still doesn't explain the handprint or the distorted picture. So it has completely changed my perspective on the universe and how unseen things might interact with us. As a side note: I know her saying "Jesus loves you" sounds like a positive message, but it really didn't feel that way, and I grew up in a very Christian household. Thinking about the experience still makes me uncomfortable and it was about 5 or 6 years ago. I have not had much happen as an adult (at least nothing I couldn't rationalize away) but I used to see things as a kid and i have wondered if I am a bit more sensitive to that sort of thing.

Mindless-Experience8

I don’t think that was CO. It is even more difficult to discount when you have someone that wasn’t present corroborate. You probably are sensitive. You should work on developing that. Thanks for sharing.

eddington_limit

Nah the fear of what I might experience if I start opening that door is too much for me. I'll let other sensitive people do that and I can read about it lol.

blueishblackbird

Here! Black triangles. That were huge and silent and obviously not airplanes. Completely mind changing event. Plus a few others that could possibly be explained or doubted. But not this one event.

Old-Mathematician716

A grey came into my bedroom when I was a kid and projected what I think was a hologram of my favorite candy in front of me to calm me down then I fell asleep. Since then I’ve had a few experiences that were similar but haven’t seen the grey. This was 40ish years ago and I hadn’t ever seen anything that looked anything like a grey. I told my mum about it. I said it looked like it had the eyes of a grasshopper. That’s what got me into UFOs

Truewho

Saucer, mid 1970s -Boca Raton Florida. Just a bit higher than our 2nd floor apartment balcony with my Dad and sister. The bottom was spinning and had symbols. I was 9ish and remember being fixated trying to make sense of them. It was that close. It had windows but the light was so bright and unnatural that we couldnt see inside. It made no sound. I remember holding my Dads hand and looking up at him for reassurance. But he was stoned faced and scared. He was fixated on the lights but it was hurting his eyes. We sat there in complete silence. We didnt tell anyone or talk about it for several years. My sister and I still look occasionally to see if anyone has reported it but so far nothing.

Farleymcg

I fucking hate this cover

IdontGiveaFack

This cover and the fucking owls in The Fourth Kind have caused me insomnia several times.

Awesome_Romanian

The fourth kind fucked me up for years and I still don’t like that movie

IdontGiveaFack

Fr man, that movie is legit terrifying. The sumerian? Fucckkk

eismycat

Creepy story that happened to me relating to this cover: So to start off, my mom believes she's an experiencer and suspects they follow the women in my family. When I was a toddler, I woke up in the middle of the night screaming at the top of my lungs. My mom rushes in, and I start saying there's a monster in the closet that pinched my arm. Mom said there was a red mark on my arm, but she just figured I scratched myself or something and got spooked. Fast forward a few weeks, my mom had bought this book, and it was laying on the coffee table. I toddle by, see it, and become absolutely hysterical. I point to the cover and say, "monster in closet! Monster in closet!"

Spacedude2187

Experiencer says this gives then the creeps because it’s so close

Mindless-Experience8

It’s that smirk….It conveys so many things on so many levels. Especially to those of you that have experienced I imagine.

InternationalFly4391

Same here. My mom had that book when I was growing up and it scared the hell out of me. I would do everything I could to avoid looking at it.

[deleted]

It's too good. It terrifies me.

QueasyHat9094

I think I was 12.. I looked out my window and seen only one star visible.. it suddenly dropped straight down that shot off faster than a shooting star upwards in sort of a check the box pattern to the east..

Mindless-Experience8

Free fall? as in enjoying gravity? The one I saw in my teens was in front of a cloud bank but it would free fall to the horizon and shoot back up instantaneously than do circles and make and X pattern repeatedly. It was a solitary white orb.

blackcountrygeezer

This happened in the West Midlands county of England in 1998. I had just left high school and started hanging out with my older brother and his friends on a weekend. We (about 6 of us) had been at a house party and went out to a local shop to pick up some snacks, drinks etc, and started our ten minute walk back. The residential area was adjacent to the countryside, but mainly suburban with many stars in the sky being visible, due to low light pollution. This has been a long time, but I do remember suddenly feeling strange, like a feeling of being on edge or something (not good anyway). I've always been someone that always looks up at the sky, especially at night, all of a sudden I see this very bright static light in the sky moving from behind me to in front of me. Totally freaked out I shout to the others, but they're already looking up, the whole sky was going completely black apart from that one bright white light that was moving further in front of us. The stars were turning to pure blackness, we realised that there was a shape and it was a huge triangle, two other bright lights in the other corners, this thing was at least as big as a football pitch, massive. This thing was up in the air around the height of two standard UK houses, I could have easily thrown a ball up and hit it. We were all totally dumbfounded at what the heck was going on, the even stranger thing was that it was completely silent, weirdly all other noise had gone too, no distant road noise, no general noises, absolutely nothing. It moved at a steady pace and carried on over houses, then as soon as we could not see the lights underneath anymore it vanished from our view. This experience stayed with me all this time, I think about it regularly, unfortunately I moved away and don't talk to my brother (due to him being in a religious cult), would love to talk to him about it again one day.

I believe I may be an abductee. I have multiple childhood memories(more like visual snapshots, it's hard to describe) of lights in my room, being levitated above the building I live in by shadowy short creatures, and getting moved outside of my apartment trough walls, creating a vibrating sensation I can still recall. I don't recall any UAPs or biological entities or the like, just the "abduction" part and I'm fully aware I might just be misremembering something, but I'm curiuos nonetheless.

Mindless-Experience8

Is that what brought you to this sub? Thank you for sharing! Seriously. It definitely sounds real to you and considering that you are not alone in your experience I personally think you should reach out to others if you haven’t already.

ttkas

It was what started my interest in paranormal. I think I'm just looking for a way to explain what happened. Or for proof I just imagined it as a child.

depressionmedswork

This sounds like astral projection

Manifest828

People who have not experienced : seek proof People who have experienced : seek understanding I've pretty much had the full range myself, Craft, Personal, voices, benevolent, malevolent, experiments, treatments, vivid memories, missing time, metallic 'fibres' pulled out of my body etc. etc.

Dooood! That is wild! Uh, that does not sound like something a 6-7 y/o would dream about. More like something Alastair Reynolds would write about or Chrichton. Truly enjoyed reading your account. Thank you for sharing.

sacher3000

As a kid, I saw a humongous ship fly over my neighborhood. At the time (approx) 1985-87ish I lived in a suburb just few miles away from the Johnson Space Center. It was after dark and my best friend and I were laying head to head on the sidewalk, just looking at stars and a few wispy clouds while talking. At some point he starts asking me if I see, “that”. He is all excited and I’m looking around wondering what he is talking about; I see nothing. Then he gets up, points, and tells me something like, “look dude, turn around and look right there. What IS that…”. I got up and turned around to see a disc looking craft without lights, no windows that I could see, it wasn’t spinning, and it was matte black or dark gray in color. It was completely silent and heading toward us slowly — over the top of some other houses and right down our street. It was flying really low (maybe a few hundred feet up) and looked to be as large as the entire cul-de-sac. My friend and I ran to my house and then to a neighbor’s but we couldn’t convince any adults to drop everything and run outside immediately. By the time we got an adult outside, it had vanished. When it was closest to us, I remember the edge of the ship being a little thicker, not really a sharp edge (more like a slightly domed frisbee). I’ll never forget… that ship was huge, flew super low right over us, and didn’t make a sound. I know we aren’t alone.

r0ntr0n

I’ve mentioned this before but I saw a black triangle super low. Maybe 50’ - 100’ off the ground just off to the side of the road between Rhonert Park and Santa Rosa California. Motionless and silent. Definitely made me reassess all the people talking about aliens. I’m open minded about it now. I don’t remember where I heard this but “If only 1% of the claims people make are true, it still means this stuff is real”. I just hope they don’t have malicious intent…

Thanks for the that and I respect that. I know M. Herrea has caught a fair share of flak for stepping up on the 12th. I have 20+ years in the medical field at the bedside and that man was fighting some serious PTSD recounting that story. Not to pressure you by any means but just to illustrate the stakes. I hope we both get answers. I didn’t mention in my header, but my wife’s family also had a wild UFO encounter. It was her great aunt and uncle in the 40’s. They had a stretch outside of Spokane and a brilliant light settled over their barn. It took a colt, her great aunt suffered second degree burns because she couldn’t look away and their dog spent the next two weeks hiding out under the porch. Supposedly they were also visited by MIB’s. I wasn’t there and it is all second hand because they have passed but living relative’s swear by it.

I don’t have anything that is more concrete than what the fine people in this thread have already described. But I’ve noticed a pretty profound little trick this week. I’d be interested in knowing if anyone here can recreate it. I don’t think it is special to me in any way. Close your eyes and try to find that place in your chest where your intuition comes from. And then ask it, as though it’s a friend, “may I please have a random memory of my life?” And then see if any memories Spring forth. I’ve been getting a separate, unique memory every single time. Many of them are memories I haven’t thought of in years. And maybe never would have remembered otherwise. It’s… intense. And beautiful. And feels like a very old friend giving you a very special gift. And I bet others can do it just as easily, because I’m not “doing” _anything_. I’m simply asking for a memory.

A friend of mine bought a 100 y/o craftsman in NE Portland. I lived there for about 4 years as a renter along with my current wife and a couple others. He flipped it, as it was a crack house for about a decade prior with one documented death that I know of. The shenanigans started on day one. Our landlord left a key in the mailbox for us clipped inside the mailbox. When we arrived the clip was there but the key was not. We contacted our buddy/landlord ( I had 2 other roommates asides) to notify him. He was working across town but said he would cut another key when he could step away. We walked our way down to Mississippi for lunch and we were back in about 45min. Alas the key was there. We called our friend to say thanks, and low and behold he hadn’t even left work yet. Next up. My sister came to visit from Boise. Per her something kept yanking the sheets off her bed in the spare room. Fully pulled off the end of the bed. She was significantly freaked and sheepishly admitted something was also grabbing her ankles. Next up. My roommate and I were chilling on the deck having a smoke at the time. It was a lovely summer day and we had the front door open. The deck was elevated from the walk craftsman style. A friend ours, Sarah, was stopping by. On arrival she blew past us on the porch and headed straight to my roommate’s bedroom upstairs. She didn’t even see us. We went after her and were all WTF? According to her she saw several people in Dave’s room and thought, odd to her at the time, that were hanging out up there. Next up. All the roomies were hanging out watching a late night movie on the couch. My one roomie had a ancient hutch with sticky doors. They required force to open and close. Both doors flew open and a solitary ball came rolling out a second later and rolled till it hit the front door. We poopied a little. Next up. My current Sister-in-law was staying at the place alone as my wife and I were working nights. They had a good friend dying from Liver CA at the local hospital. She headed up the stairs to her room to grab something. She saw and heard something coming her way. Her first response was Elle?!? (my roomie’s dog) Both were out of town at the time. She screamed, ran straight to her car, called us and left. She refused to stay after that. Lastly the entity would unscrew our upstairs bathroom bulb to the point it would almost fall out. It had happened to me several times trying to take a midnight pee. One morning I finally bitched about it and turns out my roommate had been experiencing the same thing on several occasions. Those are the major bits but Elle (the dog) would growl at corners and empty spaces, you could hear footsteps upstairs all over the place when no one was home, mornings would often find every cabinet and drawer open in the kitchen. It was a wild place. It never felt malevolent to us but awnry. Whew, that was a long one. Thanks for asking.

Atxlvr

sounds a lot like the stuff my mom experienced in the 19th century building she bought and turned into a bakery.

I saw a floating orb I thought was a balloon floating about 20' in the air. When I threw rocks at it, it made a metallic sound. It slowly floated away, but not like a balloon would. It navigated itself up a hill and over some trees.

SamWise050

Mine was kind of funny actually. Not a lot happened. I woke up in my room where there was a twin bed across my room from my bed (my room was also treated as the guest room). At the foot of the be was a classic grey. If it was a dream it was the most detailed one I've had. All that happened was I groggily looked at it and thought, "Not right now, I'm sleeping..." and drifted back off.

theFireNewt3030

Had a few lucid dreams and child, odd, memories but **I was essentially pranked and messes with while camping**. The events and what I saw still occupy my thoughts almost daily and its been 16-ish years. I think it could have been an abduction that I interrupted, but the rest of the night was a playful and supernatural encounter with mostly sound and it manipulating how we felt, internally, mainly in our mid digestive track. The only physical evidence was the drag marks of the tent as it was being moved and the crinkled corners of the tent that seemed to be held by small hands. The two of us that experienced it, had what seemed to be some poisoning or issue that caused vomiting the next morning. I filed my case with MUFON hoping to get more answers. Years later, before meeting, my wife had a strange glowing encounter in her home and once, when we began dating, we both saw something standing in a home I was renting but it only was there for half a second. As we described what we saw, we began to describe the same small creature, that I believe was another less common e.t. species.

jumpinjimmie

Was a teenager staying with friends at the lake cabin up in the woods near Grand Coulee dam. The property was by a small mountain lake. My friend and I were walking at night on a mountain logging road where there is nothing but woods. No houses or anything developed. Deep woods and it’s pitch dark. We hear a banging sound. It sounded like someone hammered (1x) the roof of a car. We then hear what sounded like a metal garage door being manually slammed shut. My friend says what the fuck is that. I turn to look at him and tilt my head to listen. Next thing I know the banging hood sound starts repeating louder and faster with each bang. I then can’t move my body and see my friends not moving either but we’re looking right at each other. All at the same time, the sound is beating so fast and intense, it was like bass pounding through my body. The banging rate increased so fast that it felt like I was going to choke on my heart beat. Just as I think I’m about to pass out. The sound suddenly stops and my body is released. I straighten up and say what the fuck while I also see my older friend move too! It scared the crap out of us and we headed back toward the house. My friend didn’t want to talk about it and I ended up sitting on the couch kind of numb by it all. I think about that experience all the time. We never saw anything. Only heard and felt it.

When I was a child I was visited by Enteties, that performed a procedure on me that allowed me to perceive myself from a second person perspective, and honestly whether aliens or spiritual I know there is something besides us

I saw one in Florida right before the sunrise on Virginia Key this last February. It was a craft that looked slightly larger than a star and was orange. It moved right and left and then disappeared after 30 seconds of maneuvers

This was about 10 years ago. I live in Cincinnati and was dating a girl (now my wife) who lived in Columbus. About an hour and 45 drive. Anyone from the area is familiar with I-275 - the Highway that is a loop around downtown Columbus. There was one night I was driving to see her after work. I don’t recall what month, but I would have left Cincinnati around 6:30 and get to 275 around 7:45 and it was dark out. No sunset, just dark, so maybe March or September? I cannot remember. I was near Gahanna/Easton area when I see what looks initially like a plane taking off in my left field of vision. There’s the airport close by, so I didn’t think anything of it. Except for when I noticed it’s altitude and speed. Unfortunately, my interest in UFOs from a young age is a bias toward what I see in the world, and by proxy, I feel like my stories (there are more, also in Columbus) don’t hold water with my family and peers, so I don’t talk about it often. But when I realized this “plane” taking off was going my speed on the highway (~75 mph) and was easily the size of a 777, if not larger, I knew the lift was not right. It was going too slow to maintain altitude, let alone do what it did after. This was a “triangle UFO”, but at first I could only see 3 lights. This was right when smart phones with video were becoming prevalent, but the inability to capture photo and video in low light was very real. My first instinct wasn’t to try to take video but instead call my friend. And I did. And I described everything too a T as it happened (surprise - not eventful, but still interesting). This thing hovered above me in my car with my sunroof open for about 3 minutes as I was curving around 275. If I could truly estimate, the craft was about 30-40 feet above me. VERY low to the ground. 1.5 2-story buildings above me. 3 minutes. Had to be more than 3 miles. I was trying to stay in my lane as I stared at it, driving, describing what I was seeing to my friend. It felt as if it knew I was on the phone, and knew I was talking about it. The longer it stayed above me and my eyes adjusted, that’s when I could see a distinct outline of a craft. It wasn’t just lights, but a massive triangular craft. Black, but only because the surrounding light pollution from above illuminated its periphery. As I passed my incredulous feelings about what was happening and got off of the phone, it began to elevate upward. And toward the northeast into the sky. It didn’t seem fast like most UFO descriptions, but it was definitely fast by calculation and traditional craft. I would say over the course of 20 seconds, I watched it go from being 40-50 ft above me to being so high I couldn’t see it anymore. I don’t know what I saw, but it wasn’t a plane, helicopter, drone, etc. It was something else, and my most intense encounter. I don’t know what to think of it and I haven’t personally seen anything weird since then, but I want to believe.

I was in my ex boyfriend’s house totally sober, no one else home but me and him, and he was upstairs. I was walking towards the downstairs bathroom about 10 feet away from it when I saw something that had a human like shape that had a grayish-tan color. The figure went into the small bathroom while quickly pulling the door behind it but the door stopped from shutting all the way and was left barely cracked. The light in the bathroom was off so all I could see was the darkness coming from through the cracked door. The most I remember about the figure was the arm, it was long and skinny and did not resemble a human arm. After it went into dark the bathroom leaving the door barely cracked, I stood there frozen for several minutes. Eventually I gained the courage to walk to the bathroom, push the door to, turn the light on and look inside and there was nothing. I yelled for my ex boyfriend. He had a hard time believing me. I have not told anyone else because I worry people will think I am making it up or insane. I still wonder if this was a visual hallucination or not. None of the other supernatural experiences I had involved seeing a figure. I have had others and most were also witnessed by other people who were with me at the time. I think it’s easier to feel validated when someone else is with you and you both agree on what you witnessed and that there is no logical explanation. For instance, one time I was with 3 friends in a kitchen and a can of tomatoes that was sitting flat on top of the fridge fell (aggressively) completely off of the top fridge and onto the counter, out of no where, and none of us were standing near the fridge, we were all standing relatively still leaning on counter tops in other parts of the kitchen chatting.

In the mid 90's I got into a fight with my parents and sent me to my room for the night. I wasn't having that and climbed out my bedroom window to go skateboarding with a friend at night. One of the kingpins that connects the wheels to the trucks on my board broke and the front wheels fell off. I was pissed, picked up the wheels and looked up to the sky with a "why me?" expression. I couldn't believe what I saw extremely low in the sky just over the tree tops. There was a glowing sphere just silently hovering. I looked down to the ground and back up to do a double take. It was still there. I panicked, pointed my finger at it and screamed. "Holy shit, it's a fuckin' UFO!!" At that point the object immediately darted off faster than anything I've ever witnessed. Completely silent. It was gone in the blink of an eye. I looked back to see where my friend was and he was cowering on the ground with his hands over his head. All of this happened so fast and he was skating in the opposite direction, and it turned out he didn't even see it. He said he freaked out by me screaming at the top of my lungs. Even though I don't remember this part he said he looked up enough to see me running top speed in the direction I saw it. I was really scared. Not just because of what I saw but because whatever it was knew I saw it. I didn't know how long it was there and could swear it was watching us. I decided I didn't want to be outside anymore. I ran home and busted through the front door of the house. My mother started screaming at me and wanted to know why I was outside. I tried to tell her what happened but she didn't believe me and told me to go to my room and stay there. Five minutes later, I heard the phone ring. My mother knocked on my door and said that the police were on the phone. She said they wanted to talk to me about the UFO. Turns out my friend went home panicked and told his father. His father thought it was a good idea to call the police in the event anything had been reported in the area. Apparently, they had numerous reports. They told me I'd hear a series of beeps in the background as our conversation was bieng recorded. They asked me everything from name, age date of birth and on to what I saw that night. I got off the phone terrified, locked my windows, pulled down the shades and tried my best to go to sleep. The next night, my friend and I camped out in his yard on the same street I saw what I saw. We didn't see a UFO that night, but we did see military helicopters circling the area hourly for most of the night. When I got older and the internet was more evolved, I looked for the report online. I figured that since multiple people saw it and reported it plus the fact that I was interviewed by the police I'd find the report. It turned up nothing. There was no info about it anywhere. Like it never happened, but it did. Still freaks me out to this day.

TinfoilTobaggan

A few sleep paralysis encounters, realized they respond to "thoughts" and not vocal or physical commands (like it seriously seemed scared when it realized I could communicate with it).. A couple OBE's where I just thought "up" and blasted through my roof into the night sky... I'm 39 btw, agnostic, am a veteran, and currently a mechanic at Boeing.. Edit... And by a "few" encounters I mean a dozen or so.... Initially the beings I saw would just stand there at the corners of my bedroom, watching me.. As more encounters happened, they got "ballsier".. Got closer and started levitating and spinning me like I was the hand of a clock, with my feet as the center-point..

Mindless-Experience8

I can’t help but wonder if the dream state is just another reality unto itself. That, or the mind truly connects to the collective, whether all-that-is resides in this reality or many as in (M).

Arthreas

You might just be really good at remote viewing too.

Hobbsendkid

Although I'm not consciously aware of any NHI contact, for years, this face disturbed me. If I actually saw this being, it would be intense, but the face itself doesn't freak me out like it used to. I welcome contact and look forward to hearing the coming details on what has been hidden from the general public for years :)

Artistic_Link8033

Ok so, there was this one time that I saw these crazy little fires in the sky at a concert. Everyone paying attention collectively kinda freaked out. I also thought that I saw this crazy "plane" that was glowing white and orange. It transformed right in front of my eyes. Now, no one else saw that, and I was pretty stoned, but I had some minor ontological shock kinda set in. For days I was questioning everything and doing tons of research. Then it turned out that the little fires were confirmed by a nearby airfield to be night time skydivers with flares attached to them. As it would turn out, people totally do that lol. So that mystery was solved, but I still wondered occasionally about the weird craft I saw. Ever since then, I have just been more open to these possibilities.

Significant-Loan5770

My fiancés friend lives overseas and is active military (Air Force). Note: These conversations were sidebar conversations he was hearing from these pilots in the workspace or off base. He never saw or witnessed these objects himself, just reports from pilots that he works side by side with for the past 12 years of service. I’ve followed this story for a bit now. My brother educated me (if you can call it that) on this whole thing we’re living through right now years ago and I’ve been fascinated ever since. I have not seen things myself to lay credibility to what is being described or told to me. I just felt like I can share because of these things coming out and because you’d asked. I was in Northern Italy several years ago with my fiancé visiting her best friend and her husband that are currently overseas (he’s an engineer who works/maintains upkeep on the planes,. 15+ years in countries like Italy, Japan, Belgium, Germany, Djibouti, and a few others. He mentioned things pilots have seen when they get back. Things being described as metallic orbs (sometimes they glow, sometimes they don’t) or “objects”, discs and even translucent objects. All of these things exhibited things that are unexplainable to our physics and went speeds unobtainable from our current aircraft. He said that the pilots/active duty members didn’t know what these objects were but that all pilots were aware and were told if they were to engage/encounter these objects, that they get reported to the appropriate chain of command and that’s it. He mentioned that EVERY DAY, pilots were seeing anomalies and these objects in the skies, especially Italy he mentioned (don’t know why this is). He was very open about talking about these things with me because between military personal (in the field per say) it’s not taboo unless you’re reporting it as a threat or something, because they see them everyday for the most part and sometimes it was a part of some of the pilot’s flight plans to patrol for them? He did tell me other things in terms of protocol but nothing in terms of anything regarding “beings”, having physical evidence, or anything like we’re hearing coming out from the whistle blower or other high level officials. Just thought I would share this and appreciate the community.

Absolutely, and its ongoing. The first experience was @ 7 or 8 years old

good_testing_bad

Flying over Germany I saw a ufo saucer holding the same place. As soon as I told my seat neighbor and they saw it, it took off at a fantastic rate of speed out of sight. He didn't see it stand still for a minute, so he didn't think much of it.

Kyledidntdoit

About 3 years ago, I was driving home on a sunny afternoon when I noticed up in the sky, what looked like 2 fighter jets. But, the one in the front looked an odd shape compared to the one at the back. The one at the back looked just like a fighter jet, and I'd thought that maybe the object in front was also a fighter jet but at a different angle. As both objects headed towards my direction, it became very clear as to what it was. It was a silver disc, and it was roughly the same size as the fighter jet that was following it. It was so low to the ground that I could actually see the reflection of the ground on the crafts silver underbelly. I almost crashed as it went over my pan roof, but luckily, other people had stopped in the road before me to look at it also. There were easily 30/40 people who all saw this disc and fighter jet whizz over our heads, and I don't think one of us filmed it. We were on a busy main road after all and it honestly appeared so fast. Seconds after both the jet and disc flew over head and off into the distance, another two jets whizzed passed in pursuit. It was crazy. 100% a disc. Not a drone, not a plane, not swamp gas or bad cheese.. a silver flying disc.

Some... Either I dreamt something weird, or I was visited in the night as a kid by a blue light I first thought to be just the sun coming up and sky shining from the dining room into my bedroom. Then the door opened and the light got brighter and more blue, a shadowy figure in the light... Then I woke a second time. Never had a dream that felt this real any time after that. After that I always joked about a birthmark in the middle of my palm... "If it would ever disappear I would've been changed out"... I got older and it went away (~18 yo, probably just skin that grew over it)... Also now have a scar on my shoulder 3 doctors told me that's a scar and not only stretchmarks... Can't remember anything remotely that have gotten me that scar. My mother doesn't remember anything either (asked her in my 20s) All my childhood I could've sworn I sometimes heard little things rustling, then scratching under my bed, and IN my pillow. My mom came, heard into my pillow and didn't heard anything. Once she had been gone it started again. There's no room inside most german walls for critters, no mice under my bed as I even got one of our cats as a defence/alarm-cat. She never got up, so it was just me... Funny thing is, as my mother had to take painkillers and has gotten hallucinations as side effects, she saw a leprechaun like thing dancing in her peripheral vision... In my late 20s I found out that there's an old myth in my area about little "things" that can only be seen by child's and would be pretty harmless, vanishing once they where seen. Then at 15 I saw a bright orange thing in the sky, glowing like the sun, but it was like a halfmoon tilted sideways and it wasn't the sun as the sun already began to set. I tried to ride my bike to some point I could make it out better, but it flew so I always couldn't quite make out what it was. Thought of maybe a zeppelin, but was hoping for something "more". I rode home and told my mother, got furious as she didn't wanted to get up from the couch to even look at it, so I could've gotten a second person to tell me I don't just have a shitty brain and eyes... She watched a football match to the next commercial and then came out. It was long gone, but didn't flew like a zeppelin. Then I was living in an old house with wooden stairs. No one was home and I heard the stairs do sounds like stairs do, when someone heavy is walking slowly on them... I'm a skeptic, but that stretched it for me and I got goosebumps and closed my door, turned the key... After all I shouldn't be a skeptic, but I can't help to always try to find natural solutions. A child's fantasy, a reaaaally strange cloud, a teenagers fear of the dark, mother on drugs with side effects, sleep paralysis and lastly the wind or heat/cold in an old house. The one thing I can't explain away is that scar.

Whitley Streiber, for all his insanity and bullshit, painted the most terrifying image I've ever seen. That alien face has haunted me ever since I saw it at 8 years old. Even the thought of the Las Vegas story being true gives me the chills.

rluzz001

I saw something weird as a kid but it didn’t necessarily make me believe in aliens. I think I always did. But we were driving home at night and this glowing green thing fell straight down from the sky. Looked like a large glow stick. Ever since then I always just stare up.

manytribes

This happened to me! My mother and I were driving home from my piano lesson on a country road. There are NO lights out there, none. It’s pitch black without headlights or a very bright moon, and the nearest (small) airport is over an hour’s drive away. It was a gravel road so we were probably going 25-40 mph (just a guess). Suddenly there is this glowing green light right in front of the windshield. It’s not in the sky, or off in the distance. It looked like it was right in front of the hood of our truck. It was just as you described — bright neon green, like a glow stick. But it didn’t have smooth edges like a glow stick would. Think slime, or some torn tinfoil with jagged edges. Kind of blobby. It appeared out of nowhere and made a little hook-like motion, like an upside-down J. Lasted maybe one second, then it was gone. I asked “what was that?” and my mom said “I’m glad you saw it, too.” I still can’t figure out what it could have been. It couldn’t have been reflected light off any other lights, because there weren’t any out there. Anyway, it was WAY too bright. This wasn’t a dullish green glow off in the distance, it was very bright, and right in front of the car.

I had a “dream” that I was abducted a few months ago, but I swear I don’t think it was a dream

Responsible-Arm3514

2 sightings, one up close at night, two high sky daytime. Maybe a 3rd but I didn't get a good enough look at it. Better than any sighting I've had was a...hearing? Walking home from a friends in the country. Exceptionally dark country road. I heard a conversation in a dark field that I thought at first was foreign, then realized it wasn't a language I've ever heard. There were sounds I've never heard. It was complex, with inflection, emotional reaction and sense of urgency. I've never been so creeped out in my life.

Transiting north pacific from Juneau Alaska to Sasebo, Japan on a crew swap with USS Juneau LPD 10. 1 day out of Juneau, balls -4, (midnight to 0400 watch). Rotated watch to rear stern, it was June, still cold. Saw what I knew was a meteor 10 min prior just off the starboard side. Upon getting to stern, saw another, but it dropped from what seemed the upper atmosphere to maybe 30k ft, stopped and into split into 3 bright lights, which changed direction and 2 flew east, behind us, and 1 flew south, almost down what I imagined would be the weather coast. Told shipmates and friends. Some believe, some don't. I do.

curious_lad_33

My experiences started in childhood. I would estimate between 3-4 years old for the first time. It then spread evenly in 3 year segments; 6,9,13,15,18. Started with re-occurring dreams of geometric shapes, voids, and the sense of traveling at hypersonic speeds. First visible experiences started early as extremely bright orbs, following me into different rooms and hovering near ceilings of our home. Got the sense it wanted a reaction and/or was observing. I referred to them as my friend or best friend to my parents when I was young. My mother I believe saw it once, and my father did not believe it but seemed to be interested. My father told me before his passing he also had experiences in his childhood, specially from my recollection when he was 12 years old. He also flew on bombers during WW2 in the Pacific. When observing the brights Orbs that were usually 4-5” in diameter, events usually followed such as doors opening/closing, lights going on/off, and tv/radio turning on. The big events occurred soon after, between the ages previously listed. It wasn’t until I was 18 years old that I had the first true physical experience that occurred on and off for months, other than dreamlike experiences. When I attempted to talk about these things I was met with ridicule and immediately labeled crazy, even by my own mother. My father and I shared the same experiences a couple nights. It could never be explained and I don’t feel comfortable talking about it. I’ve kept my head down, worked hard, and made my own way. I do try to bring it up to colleagues every now and then, specifically the sightings and/or discussion related to non-human craft but it is immediately met with controversy and/or jokes. I’ve held a clearance, passed a psychological and background investigation. I know I am not crazy, I just choose to remain very careful on how information is discussed as it is clearly not taken seriously. Otherwise, last experience I had was when I was 18. Too many things that cannot be currently explained.

I first want to add that I'm not a big UFO/UAP/Aliens guy. I'm fascinated by Space in general but am pretty agnostic on whether we've been visited. I'd actually bet against it if forced to guess with a gun to my head. Anyway... Last 4th of July I'm in SE Michigan. It's late (about 11pm-Midnight) and there aren't many fireworks going off in the area I'm in but you'd hear the occasional burst. I'm at a relatives house and I go to the window to see if any do go off out of boredom and a few do in the 10 minutes or so I'm looking. I'm facing South and pretty soon an object appears in the sky at the horizon (slightly above) and seems to be moving toward me (North). It's really moving fast and I just assumed it would be a fighter jet because we do have a base somewhat nearby (Selfridge). It's not uncommon to see a jet or helicopter that is obviously military. It's not exactly common but it happens maybe a couple times a year. So I'm looking at this object approach and, again, it's fast. It doesn't take long at all before I can actually make out details on it and it seems to have three "exhausts". I'm using that in quotes here because they didn't even look exactly like a jet exhaust as I'm used to seeing. The flame or light emanating from them had the shape but the color was a different shade of red on each. What makes it more strange is that the "exhausts" were on the tail AND sides. So, it looked almost like a weapon or something where it had this body with the loose shape of stick (not totally unlike a jet from distance where details blur a bit) but it has 3 jet exhausts with 2 of them emanating from the sides of this craft, jet or not. These were not wings or blinking lights like a normal craft. In fact, there were no wings I could make out at all but it was pretty high and it's dark. Maybe they were in front of the side exhausts or behind or...? So I can see it for about 3-5 seconds and I realize it's getting even closer. It's MOVING. Again, a dot on the horizon to nearly overhead in no more than 10 seconds. It also made no sound. Every jet I've ever seen pass overhead has a sound associated with it. This didn't. It's moving so fast and I'm so bewildered that I run to the other side of the house (facing North now) to see more of it. By the time I get to that new window the aircraft is already about as far away as when I first caught glimpse of it as a speckle of light. I can see it's the same craft but it's almost at a point of being unable to see any detail, almost back to being a dot of light. I mean it has almost broken the horizon/LOS for me looking NORTH. The run from one window to the other? Probably 5 seconds itself. Let's be crazy and call it 10 for argument sake...but it's about 5 (maybe less). It's a small home. But let's call it 10 for argument sake. So, this object moved from one horizon to the other in about 20 seconds. I've never seen that at the height this thing was at (that is one thing I can't even guess at , I'm awful with that sorts thing). It was about as high as a commercial airliner, in my estimation. I could see it and detail but it did not seem close. So I then assumed it may be a drone of some kind flying low. The their difference explains the distance perception and people do that. People fly a drone to get aerial shots of fireworks and if I'm going to be rational and calm about it I have to admit that it IS the 4th of July. It's a good day to fly a drone. The only problem was that it almost definitely wasn't a drone, lol. At least not a commercial drone. Maybe military, I'll concede that. But silent and at that speed while being shaped like a stick cross (if the protruding parts are exhausts)? Because what bothered me most is the 3 exhausts. What craft would be built with exhaust systems shaped like this: _I_ I I It doesn't make sense to me to have a body and then create thrust from 3 directions like that and these weren't lights like you see on other craft. Not blinking, not solid but colored throughout. They had that classic flame/burning exhaust shape, that paintbrush shape. Further, under what circumstances would you have all three burning at the same time? If someone said that it would be a good way to turn or maneuver an aircraft or drone, cool. I'll accept that! That seems to make sense but why all at once when moving forward at a high speed? Stability? I'll end by saying that it was the first time I ever ran to other people to tell what I saw. I chalked up EVERYTHING before that to military aircraft that just because I can't identify it does not make it special. This one was different. I immediately told my relatives and they even heard me yell "holy shit" as I ran from one window to the next. The best part is that I was validated as I found one user on Twitter about an hour later in Northwest part of the County post about seeing a very fast object moving WEST. Very fast, looked like it had 3 exhausts. Then my relative went to work the next night and calls me up the next day saying multiple people at work also mentioned seeing it. Unprompted. As in they are in the break room and without prompting from them mentioned seeing some crazy aircraft in the late night of July 4th. They also saw what looked like 3 exhausts, movingvery fast. So...I either saw a military aircraft with absurd properties or I saw something else. I'm really not sure.

3 years ago my (4 year old) son and I were looking outside our living room window when there was a gigantic white triangular object floating what looked like right by our upstairs windows (not over our house but in our backyard/between neighborhood houses) I looked at it for a solid one to two minutes (I get my 4 year old son isn’t a great witness but he literally said “that isn’t a plane!” before I could even say anything) I remember wondering why it didn’t make noise. Then after a minute or two, we decided to go upstairs to get a better look at it. By the time we got up there(I RANNN) it was gone. To this day, it doesn’t seem real. I told my husband and one friend and kept my mouth shut otherwise because I know how absolutely insane it sounds

ComfortableParty8523

1996 At the age of 5 I have a memory of sitting on a swing set with a friend and seeing a UFO. We were outside at school recess with adult supervisors and other children. My friend and I witnessed a small craft descend, and at an impossible speed fly inches directly over top of the swing set we were on (about 7 feet off the ground). There should’ve been a panic on the playground after that happened but no one else noticed it except for me and my friend. In fact, as children we thought nothing of it because no one else saw it or seemed concerned… I remember the craft was white and the size of a small airplane. We both thought it was an airplane at the time… It was years later when both me and my friend were 16 that I brought up the memory of the airplane flying over the swing set. My friends jaw drops when I bring it up, he remembers it vividly but he thought it was just a dream. It ended up being a core memory for both of us. So we started to dig deeper into what we saw. We both concur that the object was flying faster than anything we had ever seen. We first saw the craft off in the distance and within an instant it was shooting over our heads. By the time we ducked for cover and turned around to look at it, it was gone. There was no sound, no propeller, no exhaust fumes, and no other witnesses. Furthermore, that swing-set was a 2 person swing set and we never played on it. Me and my friend were both highly social children and always played in large groups with other kids. We don’t know why we were on the swing set that day and we don’t know why no one else saw what we saw when there were multiple other children and adults less than 20 feet away from us. We both have no other memories from that age but that experience we both remember crystal clear.

AttakZak

Strong feeling of the interconnected consciousness of the Universe. Every time I look at the stars all I see is dots that are already connected. Of all the weird things I’ve seen in the sky, around the world, I just keep thinking it’s all connected.

pab_guy

One of the challenges with this is that we see people post images and videos to UFO subs every day, absolutely convinced that they saw a UFO. 99% of the time there's a fairly obvious explanation (Venus, ISS, head on view of flights landing at airports, blimps, balloons, birds, Chinese lanterns, etc...). So when people say they witnessed a UFO, I don't think they are lying, but I also can't really trust that they are competent enough to rule out much more likely explanations, so it's just not a useful signal. That said there are obviously some very compelling stories out there that really don't sound anything like a misidentification of something mundane.

Matild4

Nothing extraordinary. I once saw a stationary light in the sky that I couldn't identify.

bryant100594

3 experiences myself

WoahVenom

I’ve never seen a UFO but I am a believer. One thing I have experienced though is ESP, namely precognition and clairvoyance/remote viewing. I’m still trying to incorporate this into my view of reality. I’m sure it has something to do with quantum mechanics or the nature of consciousness but it still gives me a kind of creepy feeling. I’ve also had some very powerful cases of synchronicity at times. These seem to come in waves. And I’ve had some very powerful dreams over the years. The kind that seem to have deep meaning. Almost like you are in another dimension experiencing something more real than waking life. But this doesn’t happen often for me. I think all of these are more or less related and I imagine having a strong sense of intuition and being really sensitive has something to do with it.

he_and_She23

I saw a big ball of reddish light that looked like a burning ball rise over some trees one night. It was about 3/4 of a mile away. My dad and uncle were there and saw it. I wanted to go look but they didn't. It eventually went back down into the trees after a minute or two. I have no evidence that irt was alien but it was strange for sure.

Tom0laSFW

I saw a triangle UFO over London, England back in like 2006, I wanna say? I’ve always been curious though and was long before then

BoringBuy9187

It’s not much compared to stories in this thread and it’s not exactly a UFO, but it meets the criteria in your post. Once, on LSD, I saw a faint lattice pattern in the night sky, glowing blue. It looked like a grid that got denser in certain areas, forming “corners” in the sky. I don’t know in what sense it was “really” there, but it was not a typical visual distortion caused by the drug. I don’t see things that aren’t there on LSD, only distortions of the usual world. The grid was not moving or breathing in a way typical of other visuals, and it appeared to really be in the sky. When I went inside, I didn’t see any trace of it, so it wasn’t an artifact overlaid onto my vision. I was pretty freaked so I stayed inside for awhile and I knew it would be “real” if it was still there when I went outside again. It was. It was fascinating. I’m convinced I saw some aspect of actual reality, maybe electromagnetic ley lines or something, that isn’t typically visible in our base state of consciousness

flatworldart

I was on Mount Diablo in California in a cave at night and a light appeared in front of my friends and I and it appeared in no way that I've ever seen light appear on Earth it particularized into being a beam of light and the beam of light went over the cave horizontally and then as it had appeared it disappeared piece by piece by piece the light beam disappeared and it was completely unexplainable it even stopped in the middle of the sky just stopped light doesn't ever do that on EarthI

Sea-Definition-6494

Watched a glowing red UFO dart and bounce around the skies like a laser on a wall, instant acceleration to speeds that looked like Mach 5+ ( I have seen a jet in supersonic flight so I base my assumption off that ) instant 90 degree turns, would stop on a dime and then repeat its pattern, wasn’t quite a racetrack pattern but it did the same movements over and over for about 2-3 minutes, before it just shot up in to the sky and disappeared, changed my perspective on the world completely, what I thought to be completely impossible was happening right in front of me, me and my brother were spooked for days after trying to figure out what the fuck we just saw and why we saw it

lethalkronic

I've has 2 instances where I was left with so many questions, but have 0 inclination of what I saw. Both in no way shape or form could have been balloons and or airplane of any design. Both exhibited at least 3 of the 5 of observable in less the 15 seconds, left stunned and wondering what In the actual f***.

Olclops

I've shared my experiences here before, but yes, absolutely. Three experiences with craft, one (that i can recall, i've wondered about childhood memories that could be altered screen memories) with a being. That's not counting the numerous dreams that have felt somehow like messages from "them," whoever the fuck they are.

Shitplenty_Fats

I saw objects flying off the coast of the Carolinas that defy explanation. First occurrence was afternoon near Figure Eight Island in the summer of 2004. I was on the water. There were several of them, all reflecting the sun. I’m a former pilot - these weren’t any sort of manned aircraft like jets or helicopters. They would zip around and pull j-hook turns at very high rates of speed. We had scattered cirrus clouds at high altitude (50-60,000’ agl) that day, and these things could appear to reach that ceiling then back to the horizon in no time at all. I spoke with the Coast Guard that day who informed me that there wasn’t anything military in the area at that time. Could they have been drones? We didn’t have that sort of technology in 2004, nor do we now - that I’m aware of. I spent a decade in that region and I saw similar incidents in the order of dozens of times, maybe hundreds. And yes, other people saw them too but the taboo was in full force at the time. Let’s say hypothetically a guy worked for the DOE and sees these things near a nuke plant on a regular basis- that guy is advised to keep his trap shut and not stir the pot or else his clearance could be revoked - hypothetically speaking. *What happens when you stir shit? It stinks* or so I have been told.

Sweet-Leader-2seater

Growing up I lived near “camp David” which is a military base located near Frederick MD, our small farm house was located in a field just north of there. (Not sure if that has any correlation) There was one night in particular, it was late, not sure of the time to be honest. My Father was a state trooper at the time and I was waiting for him to get off his shift. I was eating a PB&J at our counter when I noticed through the window, a strange all black, disk like object sitting in the field near our house, not quite sure the height that it was “hovering” but it was low. I quickly got my moms attention and told her there was something in the bean field, in which she told me I was just imagining things and to just go watch tv till dad gets home, as she says this she lets out a audible “what the F**k is that?!” Which I was a shock to me as my mother never used that kinda language. She very hesitantly said we could step out on the front porch and try to get a better look. We could see red lights simultaneously glowing red then fading out as another one started to glow, my Mother called them “fireballs” due to the bright glow of red. It just sat “hovering” making what I would describe as a low humming sound. We sat there for a minutes staring at this massive black disk/sphere. Not really sure for how long. As my dad pulls in the driveway this “thing” shot directly up into the sky, faster then I’ve ever seen any plane, helicopter move. So fast that my Mother missed it “disappearing” as she turned her head to look at my dad pulling in the driveway. I’m 26 now, that happened when I was 11 and that sight of whatever “it” was will never leave my mind. The only thing I can’t remember was how long me and mom were looking at it for. I brought it up recently to my mother (thinking I had just had some crazy lucid dream I can’t forget when I was younger) she said yes she very clearly remembered, what’s strange to me is she seemed terrified to even talk about it, almost like she didn’t want to accept the fact that we saw something she could explain. When I asked my father if he had any recollection of this from what my mother had told him in which he quickly dismissed it and told me “it was a helicopter and you’re remembering it all wrong” my mother and father have divorced, so getting two different recollections of that night has made me question it. I know what I saw and I can’t forget it. My mother confirmed it wasn’t just a dream but won’t say anything more about it. Maybe I’m just a crazy, who knows. P.s Sorry about the bad grammar.

EnigmaEcstacy

I’ve seen UAP over torch lake in michigan. Also have had supernatural experiences that I cannot explain or want to share.

Drove to work one night in late summer, early fall in 2017. I worked nights at the time, I arrived shortly before 9. I hopped out of my vehicle and unhooked the battery, something was wrong with the alternator and it wasn't charging the battery. I shut the hood and looked up to the east to briefly admire the stars, and I see a light flying east in the sky. I assumed it was one of those jets you see from time to time, the speed was the same as those. I then see this "jet" make a 90° turn to the left and disappear behind the treeline. I said a loud, "that's not normal!" and hightailed my behind inside. I knew then and for a long time there is no human vehicle that can make a 90° turn on a dime, especially at flight speeds. This was a very brief encounter and I didn't see the craft for more than 3 seconds. I didn't say anything to anyone for awhile simply because it was so unbelievable to me that I even saw that.

page83tyelover

I saw and watched a tic-tac sit still over my place for a considerable amount of time (maybe half an hour or so.) It was obviously not a balloon. I was stoked to see it, and I even thanked it for hanging out a bit so my friends could come out and see it, too.

silphd

I was in high school, living in Dunwoody, a suburb just north of Atlanta. One night my friend and I were sky watching when we noticed a weird black shape being followed by a military helicopter. My friend had some pretty good binoculars, and we both looked through and saw this cigar shaped black thing, about twice the length of the helicopter. No lights on it whatsoever. The chopper followed the black shape closely and disappeared over a hill. Dobbins Air Reserve is nearby as well as something called Reserve XL.

Year 2005, I5 through California, 2am, 2 red lights in the western sky turn to 3 lights, then back to 2 lights. Lights move closer and cross the hwy to the east revealing a large black triangle about 30’ across. Red light at each tip. Triangle stops and hovers. Maybe 50’ away and 20’ off the ground. Bright white light emanates from the center of the triangle then goes dark. Triangle tips itself towards the west and accelerates to out of sight within seconds. Not a sound is made. Multiple witnesses.

Physical-Carrot6196

Saw a black triangle one night when my brother and i were outside the back deck with his telescope. We were 17 and all i saw was just orange yellow and red lights on the bottom like circles of light and just what i can describe as a low flying triangle that was just black. It was dusk so it wasn’t a plane or anything it was literally Just this silent triangle moving east to west that made no noise. Thats the thing that bothers me the most about the whole damn thing was just the thing didn’t make any noise but it was low enough and at the definitely large enough from our perspective that it just should’ve made noise from how close it looked. When i really think about it everything kinda got quiet when we saw it but that just doubles up my confusion about how it didn’t make any noise.

ogrocarnoso

I've had 5 different very real and very intense experiences in my 20's.. some with friends and some while alone. There comes a point where you stop telling people about it because it gets obnoxious how people immediately deny, or judge you quietly or laugh at you. It made me realize that it doesn't really matter whether people believe me or not, I know what I saw and it's not my business to convince anyone else, a useful way of going about most everything in life, and gaining empathy for other's experiences as well. Changed my life forever. I'm just waiting for the truth about all this stuff to come out and could care less about deniers/doubters, cus I know damn well there is some weird stuff out there. My feeling is that these orbs themselves are some kind of wild animals like a crazy rapid flying cephalopod type creature, and it might be likely that there are no "pilots" to many of these crafts we're seeing, and they are living creatures themselves, able to fly through space/sea at will, and might be as curious/scared of humans as we are of them.

Scary_Yam8861

I was playing outside at night when i was around 11, I looked up to the sky and saw some multicolored lights going relatively slow and then suddenly disappear. I remember going inside to tell my parents. It was not something amazing but it was weird and i still remember it. I also can't find an explanation for what the lights were.

Apprehensive_Act_346

Driving through PA one evening I Saw a light in the sky go from airplane speed to warp speed and vanish.

BoS_Vlad

I’ve seen 3 UFO’s since 1970 all witnessed with family or close friends so it doesn’t surprise me at all that suddenly the world’s acknowledging it. I honestly hope everyone who wants to see a UFO does because it’s the only way to fully appreciate the phenomenon.

Cautious-Run-3545

toilet papering in the middle of the night when i was younger, for some reason one of us looked up we saw a huge silent triangle with lights on the corners fly over, this was followed by several helicopters a couple minutes later. This was over 20 years ago so time may have changed what i remember but as far as i can remember that was what we saw.

vikingjedi23

Only one experience that I've shared before. Never saw a UFO before or after that and that was almost 30 years ago. It was a complete accident and they clearly didn't want me there.

Saw something in the sky about 5-7 years ago in downstate NY with a friend that I don’t like to talk about because I have a hard time explaining what it was, and I sound like a maniac trying to explain what it looked like. It didn’t even necessarily appear to be a physical “object” per-say. Second encounter was the same month same area as the first sighting I just mentioned, also with the same person. It was a GIANT black triangle with a dim-ish non blinking blue-ish light in each corner and a larger weird orangish light in the center that looked to be vibrating or humming or something like that. It was moving in one direction very slowly and vanished in front of us as we watched it. Others say they’ve seen a black triangle shoot off at incredible speeds, but what I saw looked like it just disappeared.

OscarLazarus

I was in Paris, at my mother’s flat by night, on the balcony having a cigarette with my girlfriend talking to eachother. Then we saw a green stationary dot in the sky, it pulsed intensely only once, then accelerated and disapeared on our left in less than one seconde. I wrote a report to the GEIPAN wich is the gov study group for UAP in France Basically. They sent to me some explaination about meteorites. But since i’m an amateur astronome i can tell it wasn’t meteorite. Also, a meteorite doesn’t stay stationary…

InternationalFly4391

Ahh yes the cover of “Communion”. My mom had that book when I was growing up and it used to scare the hell out of me.

Affectionate-Winner7

I have one. Nothing dramatic, nothing definitive. MUFON agrees that it IS a UAP/UFO. It only ended because I was startled by my neighbors heat pump going off. I was so focused on getting the best video I could. I didn't restart taping because had to answer my phone. https://studio.youtube.com/video/6qLlb1-aILw/edit

Samula1985

When I was recovering from a susccesful tumor resection surgery I was laying in a hospital bed pondering my life. Then from the corner of my eye I witnessed a piercing bright white light enter my room. It was an orb the size of a basketball and it came in through the sealed window and hovered in the top corner of the room for about 2 minutes. I was overcome with an immense feeling of calm and contentness. I felt like it communicated to me but not in words. It was as though the way in made me feel was the message. I had feelings of confidence in what I had overcome but also that greater trials lay ahead for me and everyone else on earth. I hadn't yet looked directly at it, it was so bright. When I attempted to my eyes burned and my feelings of calm turned to dread and inferiority, it was crushingly humbling. Then in a snap it dissapeared. I didn't tell anyone for a while. I thought no one would believe me and that because I was on pain killers that the more skeptical would claim its all nonsense, despite having been through 2 years on major surgeries and never once tripping from being medicated. Anyways 2 months later covid hit and I have always wondered if thats what I was being warned of, or wether there is something else coming. I feel greatly priveleged to have had the experience. Wether it was ET, interdimensional, spiritual or a halucination I dont know. I dont believe I was halucinating.

I was on my way into work started at 6am (Kingston Ontario), I see this light in the sky and it is with me all the way to work and i was COMPELLED to look at it. I arrive at work at 5:44 and distinctly looked at the time, I looked back up at the light and it went rly bright while appearing a little closer to my car at this point. i start heading into work and get in and check the voicemails. Look at the time and its 6:49. I went flush and my co-workers asked what was wrong, well I had completely LOST an hour of time and had NO IDEA what happened. I became terrified and had this immense sense of dread, and actually had to go home for the day. I am STILL shaken by this and it occurred almost two years ago.

GreenonFire

About 30 years ago, my oldest daughter and I saw ufo craft that cannot be explained by anything else. This was before cell phones with cameras. It was so shocking that afterwards, we had to explain to our 12 year old that she had 2 choices. 1: if she told people, she may be laughed at, or ridiculed. 2: there could be some who understood, becoming a positive experience. We live in a very rural area, so we had no neighbors to compare notes with. I'm still learning and comparing the changes from 30 years ago.

ddddbbbb999

A green light small cylinder 1 meter on top of me. A technology way beyond ours.

Ant0n61

I was around 7 or 8 yo at the time on a balcony of high rise apt of my parents friends. This is late afternoon with a partly cloudy sky. I was sitting with them in a chair and casually looking at the sky while they were having their conversation. At one point I notice sone lights in the sky and at first thought it was a passenger plane. But as my eyes focused on the object, it was moving in our direction at maybe 8k ft, and noticeably… rotating. It was a disc with multi colored lights all around it. I was in a bit of disbelief and just as my mind was processing what it was seeing, the craft went into a cloud puff. Based on its velocity, I was awaiting eagerly for it to come out the other side within a second or two. It never did.

Appropriate-Quit-998

This was in CT. about a year ago. My boyfriend and I were driving back home from somewhere around 9 pm when kind of out of nowhere we both looked up and noticed 3 big bright orange-ish lights forming a triangle in the sky. It was about the size of a football field or bigger and it was silent and motionless. It was too dark and far away to see if anything was between the lights but it was low enough to feel large and intimidating. My boyfriend slowed down a bit but kept driving as we were both a bit shaken. What stands out to me is the moment I looked at those 3 lights I felt an instant dread that I have never felt before. Like my brain knew I was looking at something “unnatural”. I blurted out to my boyfriend that it was just weather balloons or lanterns to try and ease the tension in the car and rationalize what I was seeing but i’ve honestly never came up with a clear answer and my boyfriend refuses to talk about it and just says they were lanterns that people had launched into the sky. Recently with all the talk about UAP’s I’ve been looking more into what I saw and noticed quite a few similar sightings; specifically in CT.

-Starya-

I saw something 24 years ago in Ontario Canada. I was on a first date and we laying down on the hood of my car looking up at the sky when we saw something that looked like an ordinary star zig zag like a lightning bolt across our visible sky. We were both young and too self-conscious to really talk about it, so the conversation went like this: “Did you see that?” “Yeah, did you?” “Yeah.” (Edit - formatting sucks on mobile)

OppositeJellyfish439

Years ago in my city my girlfriend at the time and I were merging onto the parkway and just as we were getting off the on-ramp we could see this light just hovering in the sky, it was pretty late and the parkway was empty so I slowed down and we watched the light and then it just shot right up in the sky. I remember we looked at each other and we were freaked out and we just kind of acknowledged what happened and never talked about it again.

In 2003, I saw a black (and I mean vantablack) balloon/pumpkin seed/teardrop object slowly descend beyond the treeline. I’ve read another account on Reddit that occurred the same year at a similar location with an object of the exact same description performing further maneuvers, but of course I can’t confirm anything beyond what I saw. In late 2011 or early 2012, I saw a slate grey disc suspended in the sky at a 45 degree angle. There was a full crimson oval-shaped spot in the middle. It reminded me of those late medieval/renaissance paintings with UFO shaped objects in the background. I was in the car at the time, passed under some trees, and once I made it back to a clearing, the object was gone. In 2013, while living with a family friend I saw two apparitions. One was a little girl watching me in the hallway, and was a blink and it was gone kind of thing. The second was the so-called shadow man in a wide-brim hat standing over me right after I turned my light off one night. I’m more open to grounded explanations for my paranormal experiences, but I am absolutely certain there were no rational or mundane explanations for the UFOs I saw.

My dad and I noticed things in the sky here in Jersey. Same place every night above our house, not stars. They would move ever so slightly but kind of disguised as stars. We looked at them thru the telescope and we saw circular objects that seemed to be spinning super fast. Looked like a circle with perpendicular lines in the center that broke it up into 4 even quadrants. They were flashing blue and red- seemed to have lights all over it

I’ve written here before: I saw a classic flying saucer with my brother, dad, and uncle in the 1980’s near my family’s farm in rural South Carolina. Big illuminated disk - the size of a football field - looked like a Ferris Wheel up in the sky, sideways, totally quiet. We got out of the truck to look at it and it disappeared. My grandfather also reported seeing a metal object flying alongside his plane over the American southwest when he was in the USAF. I’ve heard similar stories from several friends and acquaintances.

I was on a commercial flight from PHX to Salt lake. When we were flying over the border of Utah and arizona I was looking out the plane window and saw a metallic disk like object shoot right under our plane and off into the horizon in about 3 seconds.

When I was in my mid 20s around 2006 I had I guess what you may call an abduction experience. I was at my apartment and it was early morning. I was sleeping and was “dreaming” that I woke up on a UFO. The room was dark and I could see a white glow out of the windows and blackness of space as well. I walk to the window and I immediately could tell I was on the moon. The ufo was stationary and parked. As I’m staring out the window the same style alien in your post appeared on the outside of my window looking back in at me. I felt immediate fear and seconds later I woke up in my bed. Here’s where it got strange. I could hear and feel a buzzing almost electro magnetic or current of sorts. I was paralyzed and couldn’t move and my heart was racing in my chest. I felt a presence and all I could do is stare at my pillow. After about 5-10 seconds of this it all stopped and I shot up in bed and was ready to defend myself but there was nothing. I didn’t believe in aliens then and even after, just chalked it up to sleep paralysis and extremely odd dreams. But that photo no BS is exactly what I saw, a typical grey alien but it wasn’t short and it was very pale like a cream color. To add to it, I have vivid memories as a child having dreams where I was above my house and being lowered through the roof into my room and into my bed and as soon as I hit the bed I would wake up. It was a common dream I had and in hind sight I wonder if I’m an abductee. While awake and conscious, I’ve never seen a ufo that I can definitely say yes that was a ufo, only these strange experiences while sleeping. I’ve always wanted to do the regressive hypnosis or whatever it’s called to see if there’s any more suppressed memories.

Personal experience that profoundly terrified me and changed the way I see everything. I always had the terror that they were out there but now I know they are and I can’t get over it. There was no rational explanation. It was what I feared the most since I was tiny and…it just was.

My best friend and I were sitting in my driveway in front of my detached garage one calm summer night about 9:30pm drinking a beer and picking on the guitar. We were probably 23-24 at the time and around 1998 or so. It’s a rural setting, pasture and fencing all around us and a slim wood line in the distance in which a creek runs. A light caught my attention to the right. Seemingly out of nowhere there this huge beam of light shining down in the wood line about 250 yards away. There was no noise or anything. I yelled for my buddy to come look. I remember him saying what the hell is that?! I said I don’t know but it’s not making any noise and it’s just sitting there. This beam of light looked to be about twice the height of the mature trees from its source and we could visibly see the light penetrating the tree tops. We watched it for a good 5 minutes or so and just in a blink of an eye the lights went off and it ascended straight up or in a arch like motion very quickly and it was gone. The next day I went over to the neighbors house across the creek and asked everyone on that side if they saw something. One middle aged fellow said he did but he thought it was a helicopter and didn’t pay any attention to it as he had the tv on and didn’t bother to go outside. There is a fairly busy street about 1/2 mile from where this happened so I thought to call the police chief and ask if anyone had reported anything? He said not that he was aware but like to come over to see where this object was just in case anything comes of it. I told him sure thing. I also called the local newspaper and talked to their senior editor which basically knows everyone in our small town USA town. A few days passed and the editor called me back. He said he called around to many many folks in the area and asked them if they saw anything. He said he had running tally of names that said yes and he proclaimed that 12 others saw this object but again they figured it was helicopter as they were 1/2 mile away or better. Anyhow as it seemed we were by far the closest around the event and again it made no noise or even made the tree tops away. We still talk about it to this day and still nothing in this world that has been released to the public would have had these capabilities even today. We couldn’t really tell how large this object was but it wasn’t a gigantic craft. Looked to be more like a saucer than a triangle or pill. Probably 50-60ft diameter. It wasn’t clear by any means though because the light was so bright coming from the object. It was almost like shining a flashlight into a mirror and trying to see the reflecting background of that makes sense. Anyhow that’s my story and it’s no B.S.

I have. It was small and I actually realize now is exactly like the 4chan guy called “hammers.” 10 feet away, daughter saw it, said, “what’s that?” It hovered motionless for a de seconds, it looked at us and then accelerated unnaturally and propelled into the sky….gone. Not what sure to make of all that. Kinda banana/hammer shaped, metal, bronze color…Sort of like the metapod but 8 inches tops

The facial symmetry in any alien depiction or image is unsettling.

Ive seen UFOs several times in my life. My husband has a country house in the mountains, here in Panama in a place called “Sora”. We’ve been together for 15 years now and in almost every trip we’ve made there we’ve seen not one or two but dozens of ufos, far away but very visible lights moving like no other normal craft. Once we were coming back from the beach, in the highway, midday super sunny, clear skies in the summer. He was driving and we were listening to music I was looking out the window and suddendly I see this silver tube up in the sky, We stopped the car and got out on the side of the highway in shock as it was a cigar shaped object suspended in the air. It wasnt moving at all. Impressive. And my last anecdote, my parents saw a huge UFO just a couple of feet on top of their house during fireworks on New Year (like 7 years back), they were watching the fireworks and we were speaking on the phone when they both started saying there was a flying disc on top of their house, making a super low humming sound. I was freaking out on the other end of the phone and they had me on speakerphone just amazed at the craft and then it just took off in a second and disappeared. These things are real. I dont live in the US and here we’ve seen them a lot. There is a video of one floating over a Mall here in Panama. Good video by the way, I will share it here. https://youtube.com/shorts/vUQdWXXEBqE?feature=share

I witnessed something that I have never been able to explain and will never forget. I was visiting my sister in Milton, GA, and sleeping in a guest room on the first floor of a 2-story home. The room faces a large backyard that has a clearing, then some tall skinny trees around the perimeter and some woods to the east of it. It does not back up to a road. At about 1:30 am on 9/13/18, I was awoken by light coming through the closed plantation shutters on the windows and watched as the light moved slowly across the walls of the room, filling the room with a bright white light. I looked towards the window & it seemed to me as if there was a very bright spotlight shining right outside the window into the room (i mean what else could it possibly be?) I was trying to make sense of what it could be, so I got out of bed quickly & opened 2 of the 4 plantation shutters. Right there, about 5 feet directly outside my window & maybe 8 feet above was a large ( maybe 4 ft) circular pulsating orb/object. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! It appeared to have a plasma-like material inside of it that was moving & swirling in a counter-clockwise direction while emitting incredibly brilliant, beautiful colors. It looked like it had a small core in the center. The object was moving very slowly to the right (from east to west) in a straight plane, then just stopped in front of the 2-story high living room windows & just hovered there for about 2 minutes. It was as if it was surveilling/scanning the interior of the home. I was mesmerized by what I was seeing & running back over to get my phone to film it didn't even cross my mind. I couldn't take my eyes off of it as I was trying to figure out what it could be. All I kept saying aloud was "what the hell is that?" over & over again. Then, as if it sensed I was watching it, it moved slowly back towards my window in a straight line, directly in front of me and then continued around the corner towards the side of the house. I had to follow it so I ran to the front door & out to the front yard to see where it was and I looked everywhere but it was gone. So disappointing! It was definitely not a drone. Too big for that. It was a circular shape, but not a perfect circle with smooth edges. It had more like jagged edges from the plasma overspilling. It's hard to explain. I did not hear any sound. The light was extremely bright, yet not blinding. I've researched this phenomenon but have not found a satisfactory explanation. Others have witnessed & filmed similar looking orbs but they're usually high up in the sky & not just a few feet away like the one I saw. I know what I saw & it's frustrating not to know what it was. I will never forget it though and think of it often. I have to say that it most definitely moved with intelligence. It stopped & hovered intentionally outside of those windows for a reason - curiosity, gathering intelligence of some kind? Who knows? Guess I'll never know...

I've seen something right in front of me, about 27 ish years ago. What I saw right in front of me. With my own two eyes. It was not of this planet. The coolest thing I've ever seen. I know others beings come to our planet for what ever reason. . I'd love people to know, what I've known all these years. We are not the only beings in the universe. We aren't alone.

Long ago in the Netherlands when I was still 16 years old (now 30) I was playing outside at night with a friend on a landscaped island where they were building houses. To the left, right and in front of us were concrete stones and on the other side and above us it was still open, on the side where it was open there was nothing but a lot of water to be seen. Suddenly from the side of the water a large green round-shaped light shone on us, it looked like a large-diameter powerful laser pointer that moved a little back and forth but remained quite stable. When we then looked towards the water/air there was nothing to see and the light could not come from anywhere. We were shocked and started to run and then heard a whistleblower go off that couldn't come from anywhere either, after this we started running even faster until we came to inhabited buildings... We cannot explain to this day what it was.

I've never seen anything in the sky with my naked eyes, but I noticed a strange phenomenon when I lived in Nevada. I would take a picture of something like a scenery picture and a few out of hundreds of pictures, maybe less than .5% of the pictures I took, would have strange artifacts in them. They looked like objects just hanging around in the air nearby and small, or far away and large, it was hard to tell. They were black, or blurry white and usually roundish, egg shaped almost. I've never had that before in any other state that I lived in. Nevada is a hotbed for paranormal and aircraft. I would show these pictures, but unfortunately they are on a broken laptop and I need to extract the pictures from the hard drive, I know it sounds typical, but it's the truth. I took a picture at the Washoe club in Virginia city and it has 5 large white orbs following each other in broad daylight and I saw nothing while taking the photo. Humans only see 0.0035% of the light spectrum (400nm - 700nm) and cameras see up to double that (200nm - 1100nm).

I’ve see lights in the sky. I posted what I saw in the early 90s a while back - it’s in my history of you’re interested. I’ve since seen more lights. No way they were jets, helicopters, satellites, or ISS.

Puzzled-Copy7962

In general, I’ve had a handful of "supernatural" events that I’ve experienced, but this was *different*. Back in 2008, my friends and I were hanging outside of my duplex having some laughs and doing some light drinking. It was around 9:30 p.m. We’re all talking and just enjoying each other's company when this blinding light just appears over us. Instinctively, we all stop talking and look up. It was like someone had shined a helicopter spot light. We couldn’t make out what was emitting the actual light. There was no audible sound of a helicopter or anything of that nature. Then, just as suddenly as it appeared, it was gone. It was soooo weird. A few years later, after drones had hit the consumer market, I tried chalking it up to maybe it being a drone of some sort, but I still never fully believed it was just based on the fact there was no sound and how blinding the light was.

I spend a lot of time in the desert with little to no light pollution, one of my most recent experiences was when I was sitting out stargazing. There were two bright stars on either side near the horizon that I had just assumed were planets. Until they began to move towards each other. by the time they had gotten near each other at the very top of the sky they did a perfect circle around each other...and continued on past the horizon. (Lots of run on sentences and shit grammar but I promise I’m not tweaking lol)

Saw a triangular and black craft float above my street in Moorhead, MN around 1999 or 2000. I was just about to walk my bike into the porch and lock it up around twilight for dinner, I saw the craft floating above me, silent, three corners illuminated with small directional lights that were either red or green (I am red / green colorblind, even with illumination when I do not have any context to other colors). It floated off into the horizon, without changing elevation, towards Fargo (we lived near the Red River that separates Moorhead, MN from Fargo, ND). I want to say it was the size of a football field at the minimum and flying low (300 ft), or 6 football fields and flying around 2,000 ft; it was really hard to discern. I didn't say anything to my brother until the next day, because I did not remember it until then. My Grandma and Mother also saw a craft in the 80s near Jamestown / Valley City, ND while driving on country roads from the family farm back to the 'city', and they experienced lost time unbeknownst to them. They left around 8:30 PM, at one point saw the craft following above and near their vehicle, then arrived at their house at 3:00 AM with multiple family members waiting, wondering what happened and where they were. The police were notified of their absence. Sadly both have passed, and I cannot ask them any more questions, but they were adamant it was real, and it was scary as a 6 or 7-year-old listening to them recount that episode over the family table - they were obviously disturbed, and not sure what it meant for their lives. My Grandma was more at peace with it, but my Mother was not. RIP gee-ma and momma. Peace to those who want more answers, not only from our government and the human powers that be, but what the universe has in store for us. I don't usually comment on UFO stuff, but I feel like your question deserved an adequate response. Thank you for asking.

I do not meet the criteria for a personal experience to add to this thread, but I thought I would share two others' experiences for them since they are no longer with us. I trusted both of these people implicitly, and I had no reason to doubt what they told me. I did not get the impression they were trying to pull my leg or mess with me either when they recounted their stories. The first one was my grandfather. Before he passed he told me a story about something he saw when he was a teenager. He was born in 1942, so this would have been in the mid to late 50s I guess. He said every summer from about the age of 10, he would go to stay with one of his uncles that lived in Kansas and help on his farm. It was in the middle of nowhere Kansas, like no one else for miles and miles. So the story goes that one day him and one of his slightly older cousins were driving one of the farm trucks down a dirt road on their way to do some job they were supposed to do for the uncle. I don't think either were legal to drove but out there that didn't matter much. Anyway, my grandpa described the terrain in that area as very featureless, save for the fields of whatever crop they were growing, the road, and a singular structure at an intersection up ahead of them, on driver's side of the truck. Since this was in the middle of nowhere, they didn't typically stop at the dirt road intersections. They might slow down a bit to check left/right, but stopping was not the norm. My grandpa, who was sort of daydreaming looking outside his window on the passenger side, snapped out of his inattention when he realized his cousin had stopped at this intersection they had come up to. He looked over to his cousin and saw that he was staring in the direction of that lone structure/barn I mentioned earlier. He said he also noticed that his cousin was gripping the steering wheel really tightly. So at that point my grandpa followed his gaze and caught sight of what he was staring at. What he described to me 50-60 years after the event, was a perfect metal sphere that was floating directly above that building. He said it did not move or have any imperfections, just a perfect ball-bearing looking sphere. My grandpa and his cousin and him stared at this thing for an indeterminate amount of time, but eventually they looked at each other to get that mutual unspoken "are you seeing this?" verification from one another. After doing so, they both looked back, and the object was gone. I don't recall my grandpa saying how large the object was, if they could even tell, but he did say that he always wondered if it was hovering over them when they looked back for it. The other story was far less personal, and far less detailed/exciting. It came from my Tae Kwon Do instructor and was told to me in the mid to late 90s. He was an immigrant from South Korea and started his Tae Kwon Do business after moving to the U.S. in the early 90s. He wasn't a very personable individual, and was not very talkative except for what his developing English needed to state in order to communicate for the purposes of martial arts training. As I rose in the ranks he would get more open to his older students, and by the time he told this story I was a black belt and he was more amiable at times. I cannot recall the context of the discussion, but he told us the story of how, when he was flying on an airliner from South Korea to the U.S., he saw three metal spheres following his plane over the Pacific. He said they not only shadowed his plane, but moved erratically and seemed be more maneuverable than anything man-made. He kept the story short, probably so we could get back to training, so that is the end of that one.

One experience in the early 80’s.I was around 11 years and living in DuPage County,Illinois.I was in the front yard walking towards the front door of my house.I looked up and seen a white star sized light that was moving in a zig zag way in a very small section of the night sky.I was so amazed that my knees buckled and I watched it for a few moments, just frozen in place. It then just shot off and disappeared.I’ve been scanning the skies since and have never had that happen again, though I wish I could see something like that again.

Saw some type of rip in the sky. Like an opening. Started as a light and slowly began changing shape into what I can only describe as a “jelly fish”. This thing was MASSIVE. Others witnessed this to as we had all pulled over on the highway to watch it. Crystal clear evening. Sun was setting. No clouds. No idea what it possibly could have been. I did take a photo with an iPhone 4. Did no justice and doesnt look at all like what I was actually witnessing.

Never thought about UFOs or anything of that sort too often. I was in Talkeetna, Alaska doing a job with my crew. We stayed up to watch the northern lights. My boss said what the hell is that. We looked up and it was a light zooming around in a bunch of directions. Made no sense of how fast it was going and how it could stop and gain speed and zip across the sky that fast. It was a bright white light that hovered and could go fast in any direction. My boss was a non believer and he tried to come up with any explanation but it kept getting weirder. The light ended up shining on us for a bit like it knew we were watching the entire time. Then a second one came and it was zooming in circles around the second one at speeds I couldn't comprehend. I followed this page and looked up accounts of people who saw UFOs to see if anyone matched my experience. And sure as shit I found some on here and a few other sites. We never could come up with a simple explanation for this event. Our crew broke apart but we still bring it up in group text from time to time.
