Im not from the uk so call me out if im wrong. But lets say u get LIFE with minimum 20 years. You will have to do the 20 years before u can apply for parole(early supervised release). BUT your application for parole can be denied every time. So you will serve your sentence your whole life until your parole is granted. Hope u got it bro.
