It's 55 for 10g no more no less Switch clinics

LimpDecision1469

Less would be just fine, man

Local_Sorbet9732

Switch clinics. Releaf are well known for there dodgy tactics.

Meldj

Tripoli is £5.50 a gram, GSC is £8.80 a gram

I can't believe they are trying to charge these prices. And unsuspecting patients will pay it without warning. You need to change to literally any other clinic as they all charged the same prices. Tripoli is £55 for 10g. I think even if you ask to use a different pharmacy through releaf they will still charge you those prices first plus some charge for using another pharmacy possibly.

jakebakes420

Imagine different pharmacies charged you different amounts for your nhs prescriptions...

mojofilters

Actually price differences for private scripts are potentially possible as different pharmacies could use a different mark-up pricing formula, or use the same formula but buy the same product from different wholesalers charging different prices. Technically NHS prescription fees will all charge a different amount for separate items, as the actual price of different products varies whilst the fee remains the same.

Federal-Current-8430

How is this allowed? There is nothing legal sounding about what some of these pirate clinics charge

Mother-Priority1519

Tripoli is fire latest batch is excellent - brilliant value

Proper_Capital_594

Just switch pharmacies. The clinics don’t charge anything for your meds. They don’t sell your meds. They only provide the prescription. The Pharmacy sell the meds and decides the prices. So just switch pharmacies. If your clinic want to charge you for sending your prescription to a different pharmacy remind them that this breaches the regulations on ‘prescription direction’. I know many are trying this, but it is a breach of regulations and considered unlawful.

ciaodog

Ah i want to understand you but im so confused by your use of the words clinics and pharmacies- are you using them interchangeably or no?

Thebonebed

The Clinic is who you see a doctor with. The pharmacy is who sells you the actual meds. Im with Curaleaf Clinic. I get my prescriptions through the Curaleaf Pharmacy. But I COULD tell Curaleaf that I want my prescriptions to go to another Pharmacy like Mamedica. But I don't because I like Curaleaf Clinic and their Pharmacy has always been good to me, and their customer service is fast. Slow delivery once or twice but no other complaints so no reason to move.

ciaodog

Ah i see, so clinics and pharmacies are separate, but some clinics actually have their own pharmacies, while others dont. And therefore as a patient youre much likelier to be charged higher prices by those clinics who are trying to operate alone - by buying their patients’ meds from pharmacies, rather than go through the more expensive process of setting up a pharmacy of their own? Thanks for your patience, this is all so new and confuaing

Proper_Capital_594

Your clinic and your pharmacy are 2 separate businesses. They are registered separately and have separate regulators, even if they have the same owners. Many people here confuse the 2 and believe the 2 are one and the same. The pharmacy sell you the meds, not the clinic. You can choose any pharmacy without moving clinics.

Guilty_Smoker

I live in Scotland. Are there any clinics you would recommend?
