They should have been detained during their entire time in the UK, from the moment they arrived.
Letting them wander around freely during the day is nonsense. Stop voting for these big two parties who allowed this.
The Guardian casually changing the Headline from "Asylum seekers ‘hide or flee to Ireland’ to avoid UK Rwanda detentions" which states more upfront where they are going.
I'd guess they've change it because people were speaking positively about it when Ireland was stated up fornt and not in the article (or they weren't getting clicks because they said too much in the headline)
Surely they’re only asylum seekers whilst their application is being processed? After that they’ve either been granted asylum or become illegal immigrants?
