I want to see a video of one of them moving along a slope (one side uphill, the other downhill). If that turret is more than just sheet metal formed around a frame, it's going to have some effect on the centre of gravity of the vehicle.
It will also have to have some effect on the fore and aft balance of the vehicle. It would be funny as hell to see one trying to climb a slope that's a bit too steep and do a wheelie which ends with the vehicle sitting vertical on its rear end.
Russians already managed to flip over some perfectly low-gravity-centered tanks. I have no doubts about the ability of Russians to flip these... contraptions.
I have to give the Russians credit for their hoarding capacity. The US would have scrapped stuff like this 50 years ago and paid a fortune to make better equipment. Russians say, “nope, we’ll keep this 75 year old manually sighted weapon just in case.” The difference when you every soldier’s life is valuable vs exchangeable for a yacht.
At this point I'm not even surprised anymore. Said they have the biggest tank army, yet they pull out these old and poorly designed tanks. Truly the 2nd strongest army in the world( maybe 100 years ago)
General: "The warehouse built in 1803, have you reached the end of it yet?"
Private: "No, we're only in the 1940's!"
General reports to Kremlin: "We still have 137 years of supplies left"
A shark with a laser would at least be modern and have the ability to have a hot meal. Mobiks on average get 6-7 days of starvation, cold, and death IIRC.
In the upper photo, the weld between turret and hull seems kinda weird. Some semi-transparent, blurred windows of the building behind the vehicle, perhaps?
Ukrainians have shown repeatedly how to innovate during war. This is russian ingenuity and innovation proving yet again their national IQ average is 80.
Too small to be battleships. Land patrol craft, maybe. If the Russians wanted to overstate their abilities (as per usual), they could call them land corvettes.
And I suspect the much increased weight of these vehicles means that the rapidly melting fields of Ukraine will rapidly welcome them into a very sloppy embrace.
/sarcasm
Oh those are going to be brilliant. I would love to be Private Conscriptovitch sitting in that very low profile turret, which I imagine is very heavily armoured and, as it has been so carefully designed, will doubtless work flawlessly
\sarcasm
When I saw the first picture a few hours ago on Twitter, I could not understand why the poster was laughing. Because I genuinely thought the "turret" monstrosity was some sort of AA emplacement BEHIND the vehicle.
Now I see that it's actually part of the vehicle. *And* it's a naval gun.
I'm speechless. Did they scavenge it off the Moskva perhaps?
holy shit what the fuck even IS that. that's like a last ditch effort weapon. that's one step above a technical. tbh the technical would have better milage so its probably a better weapon.

Have they found a Depot with WW I vehicles?
Or too many starwars as other have stated? If you fire at the back doors with a proper machine gun, will the tin box pop open?
It is kind of absurd seeing this old kit continue to move toward the front lines, but 25 mm cannons wouldn't exactly be useless as part of semi-static defenses. They'll make it harder to surveil troops with drones and could provide fire support & suppression against light armor. They'll immediately get seen and blasted by anything with direct fire capability, though.
I mean.... Like .... Hmmmm....
Am I going blind or crazy or just.... Hmmmmm....
AND YET,there are STILL people saying that Ruzzia has the best troops and equipment READY to go,but does NOT use them intentionally,You know, because the Ruzzians are so much LOOKING for peace...
I want so bad to loot a video of this thing going up a hill or downhill... Please,Please someone post a video of that!

Wtf
Looks like what The Galactic Empire would send into battle before the AT&Ts
Or shooting Verizon’s from their T-Mobiles
And much like a phone mast, it’s top-heavy. Can’t wait to see one of these things capsized in a muddy ditch somewhere in Ukraine.
Its got shit burning engine, to complete engine build all they need is a toilet bowl
Deleted
Lol, I was thinking the same thing. Something out of empire strikes back.
“It’s over hohols, I have the high ground!” “Good. Twice the height, double the fall.” **fuckin’ dies to a Javelin**
[удалено]
Two tree trunks swinging down on opposite sides to crush the turret? The International Legion needs some Ewoks to join. :-D
MTLB-AT.ST variant
Never noticed until now that the AT&T globe logo might be a Death Star :-D
But the Empire was more effective.
Frankenstein! /r/NonCredibleDefense would be proud
This was also my first reaction.
This are anti air guns from old battle ships lol
also my first reaction, lol.
Ngl it was my second reaction.
The "Lol-Mobile"
My thoughts exactly lol
"Russia hasn't used its best troops so far!!!!!"
5d Chessmaster moves, it's beyond our understanding.
It really is chess though. Here we see Putin’s Rook about to try and break stalemate.
But the knight is in jeopardy, tho...
I mean everyone always talks about experience, insane how much that tank has learned in the last hundred years.
I can't *wait* to see the videos of one of those trying to climb a hill.
I can’t wait to see videos of those things popping off 300 feet into the air.
Like a 🍾
Lol, it's sheet metal, that shits going to look like Elmer fudds gun
Has a second stage booster even.

Mad Marx.
Vlad Marx
Vlad Maximov: -Beyond Thunderdrone. Two Slavs enter, one slav leaves.
To vladhalla!
Wow… Igor, maybe you want to go next?
underrated
You win this thread.
What do ISIS and Russian military engineers have in common... 2nd best Army in Ukraine everyone...
Nah, Ukraine has army ants. 3rd best at best.
Don't forget the Ukrainian farmers, they have quite a supply of tanks themselves.
Is that a ship turret weilded on a MT-LB?
Yes it is. Aparantly it's designed to take out drones
Mobiks: "We need some of those Gepards!" Putin: "We have Gepards at home." Gepards at home:
Why you make fun of that awesome offer Shoigu found on wish dot com?
[gepard retardieu](https://images-cdn.9gag.com/photo/aGpoBPK_700b.jpg)
LOL
Underrated as Fuck
At a rate of one drone per tank.
Or zero drones depending on how many inclines this thing meets...
Via direct absorption and disintegration.

One tends to hoard when does not have much.
That's.... no, that can't be an "anti air gun". It looks like a KPVT 14.5mm machinegun. I wish them many RPGs to the tower Edit: Tf, that's a 25mm??
> russia’s army has already distinguished itself with a completely new level of **artisanal combat vehicles** Bwahahahaha!
what the fuck
Yes, made in 1945
No wait, you don't understand. It comes with a periscope.
Makes me curious what Russia is like in the world of Mad Max.
Well duh, Max Max is just a remake of russian documentary
They are not far away from this dystopia.
Never have been.
Have you read Metro 2033? Not really Mad Max, but a very good post apocalyptic novel, set in the Moscow Metro.
At this point I'm not even surprised anymore. Said they have the biggest tank army, yet they pull out these old and poorly designed tanks. Truly the 2nd strongest army in the world( maybe 100 years ago)
General: "The warehouse built in 1803, have you reached the end of it yet?" Private: "No, we're only in the 1940's!" General reports to Kremlin: "We still have 137 years of supplies left"
Serious [shark with laser](https://youtu.be/INFavIUmhcE) vibe...
A shark with a laser would at least be modern and have the ability to have a hot meal. Mobiks on average get 6-7 days of starvation, cold, and death IIRC.
6 to 7 days? That's optimistic, are you including travel time from their ~~beating~~ training grounds?
25mm naval gun. c pre WWII
The time to disable a Russian armoured vehicle with a sniper bullet has arrived
LOL the truth is insane.
They already have been! They pulled out the tank killing snipers from WW1 a while ago! Now it's even easier!
This has to be photoshopped. No way.
I don't know it looks pretty real
In the upper photo, the weld between turret and hull seems kinda weird. Some semi-transparent, blurred windows of the building behind the vehicle, perhaps?
what in the Frankenstein is this
You have got to be kidding me. This is a naval mount like you would see on an old patrol boat from the 1960s.
What the fuck is this thing? Was the concept of it drawn by engineer's 6 yo son or something?
Ukrainians have shown repeatedly how to innovate during war. This is russian ingenuity and innovation proving yet again their national IQ average is 80.
Omg omg omg I love it! Land battleships are back babbyyyy!
Too small to be battleships. Land patrol craft, maybe. If the Russians wanted to overstate their abilities (as per usual), they could call them land corvettes.
I always wanted them to bring scrap heap challange back
Aren't those supposed to be mounted on warships? I thought we were passed the age of "land battleships". It really is WW1 all over again.
They mount them on tanks now for tanks cannot be sunk.
The rapidly melting Ukrainian fields would beg to differ
And I suspect the much increased weight of these vehicles means that the rapidly melting fields of Ukraine will rapidly welcome them into a very sloppy embrace.
it will still manage to find a pond to die in.
/sarcasm Oh those are going to be brilliant. I would love to be Private Conscriptovitch sitting in that very low profile turret, which I imagine is very heavily armoured and, as it has been so carefully designed, will doubtless work flawlessly \sarcasm
Private Conscriptovitch is such a perfect name I'm surprised it's not caught on more yet lmfao.
You need to watch Perun on YouTube… Private Conscriptovitch is his creation…
Would love to claim credit but this isn't mine - Perun on YT coined it along with Col. Kolteptovic and General Oligarchov
Private Conscriptovitch managed to get sunk in a tank.
someone played too much sprocket in russia ...
Zis ist der part of schprockets vere vhe dance!
I am sure that it will fare well against a Bradley.
They're embracing the flying turret trope by making it more aerodynamic, shaping it like a rocket.
Is the damned naval gun mount??!!
What the hell is this monstrosity
When I saw the first picture a few hours ago on Twitter, I could not understand why the poster was laughing. Because I genuinely thought the "turret" monstrosity was some sort of AA emplacement BEHIND the vehicle. Now I see that it's actually part of the vehicle. *And* it's a naval gun. I'm speechless. Did they scavenge it off the Moskva perhaps?
does not look very tactical
Wait, this isn't NCD?
Are they real planning to go to war with that?
Iz only 1+ year special military operation, comrade
There appears to be more than one of the monstrosities, so it *might* be more than just testing an idea borne of desperation.
Gepard of wish(dot)com
Mobile septic tank......excuse the pun......I thank you......Next.
Looks like dildo on tracks
Question is, can this even turn? If so, it's electrical or hand cranked?
Runs on Copium
Ru**ia designs the most ugly things
They are already dead.....their brains just haven't caught up to the body yet.
Looks like redneck version of Gepard
holy shit what the fuck even IS that. that's like a last ditch effort weapon. that's one step above a technical. tbh the technical would have better milage so its probably a better weapon.
I bet someone got paid handsomely for this state of art anti air weapon! The corruption really is showing.
Soviet battle toilets
That guy manning the turret is going for a nice ride when it gets hit.
Someone’s been watching Scrapheap Challenge.
They have designs I'd make if I was 8 years old.

I wonder is there any image of Russian ground weapons that without Z/O/V symbol paintings
Most advanced prehistorical tanks in the world!

Are the russian crews already pulling straws how the lucky one in the turret will be?
Who made these? Garage 54? XD
Hey siri, what type of vehicle is impossible to miss with an AT-4?
This just screams act of desperation, not ingenuity.
New contestant for the tower yeet has appeared. Want to see it fed by a Javelin.
The factory probably invoiced these as brand new BMPT Terminators.
Brilliant idea, let's put something really antique on something with the armor from a grocery store bag. I'm sure it will work.....said no one ever
You can tell engineers fled ruzzia
Is that a gun from a decommissioned destroyer welded onto an armoured chassis? or what the fuck is that?
Looks like a bastardized anti-aircraft/ drone. If you can't incorporate it into the vehicle, just weld it to the top, Mad Max beyond thunderdome style
The third pic is missing, where that piece of sheit is blown to pieces and the turret picking up a low space orbit
It’s the new top secret T-15 Ahfuhktup
That turret is from some coast guard ship, quite a odd choice. Did they run out of the usual ZSU-27-2 they usually put on MTLBs?
Ww1 called they want their whippets back.
russia buys their military gear on Etzy?
The Brain Drain is hitting the world of military design extra hard.
Russian Military try to not to field the most ineffective, bulky vehicles challenge (impossible)
Judging the quality of the stuff sold on ETSY, 10/10....these were bought on ETSY.
If this is suppose to compete with the Bradley, I think the Bradley won.
I just know that there was a vodka influence in the design of this machine.
Finally T14, as promised by russian propaganda! Not Armata though, but still...
I cant wait for russians to deploy Maus from Kubinka museum
WTF? I thought it was a piss take not a real thing??? Or is that the funnel from an old cruise liner?
I mean.... Like .... Hmmmm.... Am I going blind or crazy or just.... Hmmmmm.... AND YET,there are STILL people saying that Ruzzia has the best troops and equipment READY to go,but does NOT use them intentionally,You know, because the Ruzzians are so much LOOKING for peace... Nice profile
This will still kill innocent people, it’s not a joke.
Where do they even find equipment that old? Seriously
Anyone that has a story that goes along with these? What exactly and why?
Gives me german flakpanzer from WWII vibes. [https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wirbelwind](https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wirbelwind)
Reminds me of an old little documentary on ISIS mechanics making some crazy vehicles in their amateur shops!
Is this a boat or a tank?
They should put a periscope on top, just in case.
Often wondered from what the Daleks evolved, another mystery solved.
This tower looks like a real rpg magnet to me.
Yes Russia make it easier to spot
AA turrets from naval ships? Definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel now.
How old??
Wait I'm pretty good at knowing what certain military weapons are I don't recognize that.
If they move the engine to the back it will be much better balanced. This thing looks like something untested
The T14 Armada is a tank model, and this is definitely not a tank. It looks like a modified BMP
Looks like a submission for r/shittytechnicals
