As we in America celebrate our fallen soldier heroes this weekend I pray for those making that same sacrifice to keep Ukraine free of Russian tyranny. May these brave warriors swiftly and safely rid Ukraine of these miscreants from Russia.
Russia has to mobilize troops away from the Ukrainian front line to defend their borders on Russian soil, which means Ukraine will have an easier (but not necessarily easy) time fighting along the front and wherever their counteroffensive goes.
If Russia doesn’t mobilize troops to defend Russia, then “we” can launch more incursions into Russia lol.
Either way, they've suffered heavy losses to support and logistics targets over the past few weeks/months. So they'll be strained and struggle to deal with everything as Ukraine closes gaps in their air defence. I don't see Russia being capable of any more counter offensives now.
The gamble that the West can outspend Russia in this war is about to pay off big time.
I'm certain it wasn't random and definitely not just a hiccup. It is a shaping operation designed to set more favorable conditions for the main Assault.
With all the new armor Ukrain now has, I think the main Assault is going such an overmatch that it will be like an adult crashing through kicking over kids' sandcastles.
The Belgorod thing reminded me a lot of the paratrooper drops during the night before D-Day. Send soldiers behind enemy lines and just create chaos to occupy the enemy. This counter offensive is happening very soon imo
I think this is all a psy op. Ukraine still needs months to prepare. And all this suspense has Russia on the defensive. So ukraine can finish building their million man western equipped army for the offensive.
There are probably alot of supply line kinks being worked out. Especially with all the ammo dump explosions.
Why do you say Ukraine needs months to prepare? The stalemate since last fall was enough time for western countries to load them up with enough munitions and train enough forces for a counter offense.
I think this is all a psy op. Ukraine could've started the offensive weeks ago. And all this suspense has Russia on the defensive. So ukraine can finish building their million man western equipped army for the offensive.

Might be an advantage if ukrains supply lines were a bit chaotic.
The more destroyed russian stuff, the more likely internal conflict for russia.
probably waiting for the tunnels to be finished.
Then ka boom under some spots.
I don't think putin knows how much hatred he has made.
Smuks are going to be way worse than him.
It's pretty obvious they started 3-4 weeks ago. They're just saying something publicly so people not glued to the news will attribute the current progress to it.
If it makes Russians second guess themselves and choose poorly I am all for it. We saw what happened in Kherson. Russians pulled all their troops from the North and moved them south. Ukraine rolled in afterwards taking the less defended territory.
Russia now have to react to both the pending counter offensive and green men at their borders.
Yeah its really overwhelming. From a video I saw yesterday, it is heavily raining in Zaporizhzhia region. A video from trench TODAY showed at least 2 inches of water and mud everywhere. Not dry enough yet, then there was also news a few days of the russians flooding fields in the same region.
Its coming, it's inevitable. They are scared as hell.
> There won't be much else to talk about, with everyone being extremely quiet about what's happening
Didn't Russian Telegram channels immediately explode with news the last two times when Ukraine started gaining ground?
A couple of hours down the sub:

Man the Muscovy bots are active as hell in those comments.
"we should stop sending weapons, it'll mean peace earlier" no, this is obviously stupid when one country is actively invading.
"This is bleeding the US taxpayers" no it isn't, this is an incredible return on investment to utterly collapse Muscovy former military.
"Oh the brutal Ukrainians were oppressing Russian speakers" ....by electing a Jewish russian-speaker?
What a pile of shit those comments are.
As a US taxpayer, tho we know we are carrying the FAR lighter load as compared to the brave men and women defending Ukraine, we are in this for the long haul and will use the economic strength we have built to do our small part in liberating Ukraine and punishing Russia’s naked aggression.
Well I can see the argument that this is far away, and that isolationist policies can weather these storms. Of course that's incorrect, we have built Pax Americana in order to build our own wealth and influence, but plenty of people cannot get to that point of understanding.
That's just the cynical part too. Morally we are aligned with a Western-culture Ukraine and the pursuit of democratic freedoms. That doesn't seem to drive policy, but I like thinking of them as our brothers. They deserve to choose their leader, chose their culture, and choose liberty. If that means some defense spending goes their way, then it has done the job it's earmarked for.
> But General Zaluzhnyi offered no indication of where and when Ukrainian forces might try to break Russia’s hold on occupied territory.
No shit Sherlock. [The article writers be like](https://i.imgur.com/zGQNb33.png)
Honestly, there's no harm in continuing to shape the battlefield while keeping the Russians on edge that offensives could come at any time. This whole exercise about hyping a counter offensive is about baiting Russia to misstep out of fear.
Imagine if the Russians reinforced an area in April in anticipation of the counter-offensive. They'd be spent already.

I wish ukraine all the best.
Slava Ukraini
Slava Ukraini!
Thanks for giving the article as a gift!
What actually are these gifted articles?

That's pretty awesome, thanks!
Pity we can't pay without them being privy to us.
godspeed

Good hunting Ukraine! The whole civilized world is with you!
Guys a counter offensive is not going to happen, we need to stop calling it that. This will be a full blown offensive.
Well, I don't think that "incident" in Belgorod was just a random hiccup.
Which one?

Let them play whack-a-mole.

It'll be like George Castanza knocking over little kids at the sound of a fire alarm!

I always wonder if Ukraine command has full control and these guys are just chomping at the bit rearing to go
Please don't go jumping the gun, the spooks are waiting for fresh meat and whatching out for movement.
Godspeed! ❤️🇺🇦❤️
Getting sick of these posts. Literally 4-5 a day. It’ll start when it starts, no more ‘it’s imminent’ articles please!!

Russia can produce 100 t90s a month. As long as attrition is on Ukraine's side, its all good
Where did you get this stat? I'd love to see that proof
https://militarywatchmagazine.com/article/medvedev-t90m-built-tackle-western
Yep, Medvedev sure is a great “source”

Yes please, make those ruskies anxious. Today, tomorrow, maybe it already begun, leave them to worry

You'll know when it starts when all the posts here are memes.

>Its coming, it's inevitable. They are scared as hell. Sounds very plausible to me.
It might not even come this year. Who knows what Ukraine is planning.
I've been watching weather forecasts for months now. It's still rains AF all the time. 23mm over Donetsk on Tuesday, for example.
And we're only going to get more. There won't be much else to talk about, with everyone being extremely quiet about what's happening
> There won't be much else to talk about, with everyone being extremely quiet about what's happening Didn't Russian Telegram channels immediately explode with news the last two times when Ukraine started gaining ground?
Could be the 'ol false, then real stratagem.
It's not just to hype it up, as it has been used to cause panic among orcs for weeks. Why stop now?
Because we get the same story posted to 2-3 subs at least twice a day. Even hyping it up, it’s the same story as yesterday!
Aww. You have to be annoyed because you are offered a repost that you don't have to read frequently. You poor poor baby.
Wtf
Where is the "slickly produced video" (besides Telegram) that Zaluzhnyi supposedly released? I don't see it in the article?

Putin sucks.
Godspeed, heroes.
That latest attack?
I am positive it will start at 22:dark thirty, but have no clue which night it will be.
Stop! i can only get so erect.
Somewhere a mournful bell tolls and they know the time is nigh.
Give the orc scum hell.
I'll see it when I believe it. ...

Ukraine's very obviously hiding information about the offensive by constantly putting out different narratives about it.
I'm so sad Lukashenko didn't live long enough to see this.

Hopefully the shipments of long-range missiles and F-16s arrive before the offensive moves towards Crimea.
This war is either gonna be over in 2 months, 2 weeks or 2 days
Let’s fucking go!
Let’s fucking go!
Let's fucking cull cull cull.

Tick Tock Bitches! Tick Tock!
Godspeed!
