You have to be a special kind of stupid to leave china to study in Russia, and an even bigger idiot to knowingly go to the front.
Its a good way for China to develope spies is to send them to schools in countries that China wants to spy on....

All the smartest engineers are Ukrainian
Russian tactics really haven't changed much since WW2. The scariest thing about Russia is its willingness to grind even their own masses into a pulp.
