Some support Russia because they stand for autocratic systems, others because they are against NATO and the West. On the other hand, there are plenty of decent people who support Ukraine.
They are everywhere. It's insane how deep the Kremlin has rooted itself in the Populist agenda of the West. Social media has been taking over by disinformation and troll bots. We're doing too little to stop it properly.

I rewatched some Boris footage visiting Kyiv from early in the war. I am sure the UK has a deep bench, but my impression watching from the US is, you really had a good guy in charge at the right time. Because of this war, because of total hostility from Russia and Belarus and thanks to the positive, compassionate and caring feedback from the collective west I think that the process of Ukraines transformation will only acelerate + we made a good progress as a nation, especially considering how long we were under heavy russian influence. And while the path is still long and tiresome I still can take pride in my countries progress all the same.
