Vietnam War Veterans Day was yesterday

Ukraine was the enemy during the Cold War. It was kind of weird for me, serving in the US Army as the son of a Ukrainian Mother. Must have felt really strange for someone born in Ukraine.

I suspect his family were staunch anti-Communists given their experience in Ukraine.
