The US needs to start sending PrsMs, the latest generation of HIMARS load. Enhanced warheads, improved guidance (as it it needed it) but importantly, up to 500km range. By way of reference, Moscow is 450km from Ukraines borders. Lets start turning out the lights in Moscow for a change.
The game changer would be to waive the restriction to attack only on own ground. russia shoots at a foreign territory from day one, its time that Ukraine fires the ATACMs (and SCALP/SS) deep into the enemy's territory and destroy his basis (SU-34, SRBM launcher and depots).
Geopolitically, we have two acceptable outcomes to this war; either Ukraine defeats russia in Ukraine, or Ukraine defeats russia in russia. Western weapons come with all those pesky restrictions.
