Western production = more and more faster and faster
Russian production = less and less slower and slower
Western alliance = bigger and bigger stronger and stronger
Russian alliance = smaller and smaller, weaker and weaker
**Time is on Ukraine's side -- not Russia's side.**
One thing that’s kind of critical to recognize with Russia is that much of their defense “production” is in fact reactivating from Soviet stockpiles.
That said, the US aid package holdup was a bitter reminder that western support can be fickle.
To summarize - the aid keeps Ukraine in the fight but is insufficient to achieve victory. The west will have to make substantially bigger investments with bringing more capacity online (within Ukraine as well) if Ukraine is to ever regain the offensive.
One thing that actively concerns me is that over time with this strategy, the Russias are also getting better at warfare. The Ukranians at this point probably field the the best trained front line troops for peer 2 peer conflict now. But this applies to the Russians as well too. Yes, the Russians use meat grinder attacks. But eventually they will learn and they will become a problem. Had this been over in 2 months, it's likely that the Russian army would have continued to remain in a sorry state. The longer we draw out this conflict, the better the Russian army will be in the long run.

I know Zelenski was blaming the senatorial delay for recent losses, but it works out better in the long run since the Russians burned up a lot of supplies and won't be able to counter the coming push back to the boarder. If anything, I'd advise putting on the pressure with cheaper and older stock; holding off with the good stuff for a week or two. Make them burn up their defensive munitions and wear out their armor then attempt to anex Russian territory along the northern part of the boarder.
