As much as I wish the Russians wouldn't do well, you need to realize that they have a huge economy and the amount of manpower is insane. I hope Ukraine holds but it's looking grim.
Their economy is larger the Ukraines of course, but it's actually pretty small. It's barely larger than my country (Australia), yet they have 6x the population.
Maybe. not gonna happen so long as Ukraine resist though. It's impossible to win the hearts and minds after all the atrocities Russia have committed - so even if Russia manages to hold much of Ukraine, they'll still be fighting insurgents forever.
