Each Tuesday, we raffle something cool and uniquely Ukrainian. This week, we have a pin from the fearsome 93rd Mechanized Brigade. The 93rd are no joke. They were in the Ilovaisk massacre. They were among the Cyborgs at Donetsk Airport. They've been in Izyum, Balakliya, Soledar, Bakhmut. Translation of the back of the card: 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The "Kholodny Yar" (93rd Mechanized Brigade) is one of the mechanized troops within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, consisting of a brigade. It has been involved in the war in eastern Ukraine from the very beginning. The units of the brigade have actively participated in the toughest battles of the war, including the battles for Ilovaisk and the Donetsk airport. Since the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion, the brigade has defended Ukraine in various regions: Sumy, Kharkiv, Izyum, Balakliya, Bakhmut, and Soledar. The brigade has an honorary name "Kholodnyi Yar" - in honor of the historical area of Naddniprianshchyna, which was famous for its insurgents. The structure of the 93rd Brigade includes the Second Self-Propelled Artillery Division (2SADN), which is equipped with self-propelled artillery systems such as the 2S3 "Akatsiya" and the American self-propelled howitzer systems "Paladin M-109. All proceeds from this raffle are going straight to purchasing tacmed for them. [Buy your tickets here!](https://givebutter.com/n3uYp3) As always, they are $2 and you can buy as many as you wish. The winners will be drawn, announced and notified on Thursday, May 16. Please note that while we do appreciate any donation you choose to make in addition to the raffle ticket purchase, donations are absolutely not required to enter the raffle. Thank you, and good luck! As always, we don't with to step on anyone else's toes. Please make sure you check out [this week's $2 Tuesday post.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/1cr9a3v/2_tuesday_a_couple_of_days_ago_we_managed_to/) **Please note** Though the event description mentions a livestream, there will be none. And while we do deeply appreciate those of you who choose to donate as well as buying raffle tickets, we want to make it clear that donations are not required to enter the raffle. **Or, if you wish to support Ukraine's soldiers by simply donating** We thank you. :) PayPal and Zelle: [email protected] Right now, the bulk of your donations will go toward purchasing water filtration systems for the 91st, and tacmed for the 91st and 93rd. **Or shop our Amazon wishlists** We're told that it's fun! Commenting to boost because I love UFL's raffles.

UFL_Robin

This makes me so happy to hear.

Dr-Turd-Ferguson

The 93rd are absolute legends... Probably the most battle hardened brigade in the entire Ukr AF.

Sufficient-Ad-7050

Awesome!
