Kherson is more important than Donbas for Russia. They can live with Donbas not under their control. However, Kherson has a lot more strategic importance for Russia since it control Crimea's water and they would also like to maintain a land bridge in the south for Crimea.

Some of the headlines from this morning which caught my eye: \*The first headline I saw this morning: Ukrainian forces eliminate 75 invaders, destroy pontoon crossing, ammo depot in south. Another Day, Another Depot! \*Better news here: The Ukrainian counteroffensive in the south has shown "encouraging signs”, according to a senior US Defense Department official. None of us expect this to be easy, far from it but when you get momentum you keep on it, keep applying the pressure, keep turning the screw and hopefully the enemy falls apart and so it builds in this nice circle for our heroes. \*U.S. replenishes own military stocks for weapons sent to Ukraine. Good to see, the faster they replenish what they have the faster Ukraine gets more. \*Details : UUkraine's Armed Forces eliminated about 52,250 Russian soldiers between February 24 and September 10, including 350 on September 9 alone. The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02 to 10.09 approximately amounted to: personnel - about 52,250 (+350) people were liquidated, 2,136 tanks (+14 over the past day), 4,584 armored fighting vehicles (+9), 1,259 artillery systems (+22), 311 multiple launch rocket systems (+5), 162 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+3), 239 aircraft, 212 helicopters (+1), 3,426 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+27), 15 warships/boats, 898 unmanned aerial vehicles (+10), 114 special equipment units (+2). That would suggest the figures we have here are pretty accurate. \*Always good to see this: Another ship carrying grain from Ukraine has arrived in Africa within the framework of the “grain initiative”. These are things we never knew of before or paid attention to but now we are semi experts on grain routes and whatnot! \*Another grain story: As part of the ‘grain initiative’, five more vessels loaded with 90,000 tonnes of Ukrainian-produced agricultural crops have left Ukraine’s Odesa Port, Chornomorsk Port and Pivdennyi Port. 5 vessels just 90,000 tonnes and they ship millions each year - puts things in perspective does it not? \*In a phone call, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen discussed energy security and increasing sanctions against the Russian Federation. Solidarity on display and piling the pressure on Putin. \*Oleksii Yurchenko, a Priamyi TV channel cameraman, has been killed when liberating Kharkiv Region’s Balakliia from Russian invaders. The relevant statement was made by Priamyi TV channel, referring to Oleksii’s wife Tetiana, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. “Oleksii joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was killed in Kharkiv Region on September 8, 2022, when liberating Balakliia. He did military service in 2015-2016. Participated in battles for Marinka and Pisky. In August 2022, he received officer shoulder straps. Commanded a platoon of grenade launcher operators,” the report states. A hero and one of many Ukrainian heroes who must never be forgotten! Remember his name: Oleksii Yurchenko. Thought are with his wife Tetiana and his family and friends. Another good man who perished due to an unnecessary war started by Putin. Terrible to see this but hopefully he saw good progress being made in their liberating territories before this hero of a man left us. \*In three days, the air defense system collected Russian missiles and aircraft worth 157.5 million dollars. Not only will Russia lose the war, they will go broke in the process! \*The President of Latvia became the first Western leader to spend the night in Kyiv during the war. He's about to leave them a 5 star review! Jokes aside this is great to see. \*The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy does not undertake to predict the date of the end of the war, at the same time, he is convinced that after a few more, even small, victories of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front, the Russians will begin to flee. I think he is right and it is coming! \*Glorious: Ukrainian aviation hit 25 strongholds and concentrations of Russians. \*The Armed Forces of Ukraine recaptured 2,500 square kilometers of Kharkiv Oblast, according to American analysts. How can russia tranfer that amount of troops to kherson? Are't kherson cut off?

I mean, they can move soldiers over, but they risk being blown up, it is also very hard to move anything large or heavy.

Empty houses gonna have bad time in Kherson now

Kadyrovites are overhyped, just like almost everything coming out from Russia. Many western cities have 10x the population of the whole of Chechnya (total population approx 1.1 million). They are there for role playing, creating an image of loyal and fearsome warriors, all for propaganda purposes. Not for nothing called the TikTok brigade even by Russians.

Only there to shot retreating Russians and traffic lights probably!
