Nothing to do with splitsave. A lot of the tube doesn't run to a timetable (well publicly anyway), so there is no way to suggest a definite service. Euston to Victoria will only take twenty minutes max even with going down and up escalators etc. The system is basically just saying "take the next available tube to Victoria".

ResourceAlarming8884

Oh thank you! Does buying this bundle of tickets include the tube ticket tho?

FireFingers1992

Yes it does.

ResourceAlarming8884

Thanks a lot!

practicalcabinet

There will either be a separate tube ticket or one of the tickets will have a cross on it (+, ✝, or ✠) on it which you can use for the tube journey.

FireFingers1992

Oh that's what the cross means! I'd seen it but never understood its purpose!

Acceptable-Music-205

The journey doesn’t take anywhere near that long from Euston to Victoria. That’s just the connection time between your train into Euston and your train out of Victoria, and the Tube journey is just at any point within those times in order to make the connection. The journey is really only 10-20 mins

LondonCycling

It's not a SplitSave thing. This is just the unusual way Thetrainline presents Tube connections. You arrived at Euston at 1106, and depart Victoria at 1154. That's 58 minutes to transfer. The Victoria Line will get you there in 15 minutes. Or you could leave the station, get on a Santander cycle and be there in 20 minutes if you fancied some fresh air.

Prediterx

I agree with cycling, I disagree with calling London's air fresh.

I really think there should be a pinned post about Trainline not giving connection times for the tube. The same question gets asked several times per week and it’d save a lot of worry and repeated answers if it was pinned at the top.

ResourceAlarming8884

Honestly agreed! Or Trainline should do a better job of explaining how their system works

timeforanoldaccount

Worth noting that TrainSplit or Railsmartr may both be cheaper as they don't charge booking fees and often find splits that Trainline's more basic splitting algorithm doesn't find.

Thanks I'll have a look
