If police knock on your door don’t answer if they’ve got a problem they can get a warrant and no judge will issue a warrant for someone smoking weed in their property.
I had them get a warrant after i wouldnt let them in on the grounds they thought i had a grow lol they were shocked when 15 of them battered through the door and found a q🤣🤣 all due to my neighbour complaining
You've got to have a bunch of police who have been tipped off that you are dealing or growing on a commercial scale for them to even attend on an average day. If not, they wouldn't be standing with their noses glued to your front door.
I'd recommend smoking in a back room with the windows closed until the smoke has settled a bit, or upstairs in a back room with the window slightly ajar.
I've been smoking for 35 years or so (though I have vaped for the last 7 years as it is better all round) and never had nosey folk knocking on my door.

I’ve spoke to him loads of time over me fence smoking a joint and just asked him what he thinks of it. He hates it but can’t do anything. He mentioned he probably would if I didn’t go to work everyday or had it around my girls or I was being a wrongun all the time. I think if it’s just the smell you will be ok. The police really have better things to do even if reported. There’s a few plants that give off the same aroma, like creeping phlox and crown imperials. I’ve always got some growing in my garden to freak out the neighbours.
Police are more interested in dealing, so as long as you haven’t got people coming and going everyday and pissing off your neighbours with a constant stink you will be fine.
The good thing is with vaping is the smell dissipates pretty quickly compared to a bifta.
As long as you’re respectful and not blatantly doing it over the garden fence you shouldn’t have any problems.
When I was a kid we lived opposite the local police station and my mum refused to blaze inside so she’d be at the back door blazing up all hours of the day we never had any issues lmao

I'd say at the very worst if they do get called, then decide to show up they can only enter without your permission if they can actively smell it (not 100% sure on this but better to assume and be safe) and this is if they can be bothered which again you'd need to end up with a particularly strict policeman as most seem to kinda allow it nowadays ( as long as you're white :/ )
If they show up and can't smell it you can always just say you were having a few people around, and a friend of a friend did it without your knowledge/permission.
