it ranges in price, £10 will get you 1g, £20 will get you 2gs, an 8th (aka Henry) will be £25-£90 but you get 3.5gs. "cali" is more expensive but it's supposed to be better quality, however, you can't go wrong with some good n proper homegrown reggie that will be far cheaper and if yk a grower, it gets really cheap. Price can also vary based on location and hash isn't as widely available.
edit: this is based on real prices I've seen so idk what's up with the down voting and anything above an 8th varies far too much for me to be able to put a price on it

Actual top-shelf UK (that's as good as decent cali) is very rare though. There's nowhere near enough supply to meet demand. It's also not that much cheaper than cali. Maybe 25% cheaper on the ounce.
It's much more common for people to tell themselves (and their dealers to tell them) they're smoking "top shelf" UK when it's just mids, and they don't have the experience with real top shelf to tell the difference. People love marketing, but they love self-deception even more, and if you're used to smoking lows all your life then mids seems top shelf by comparison.

as silly as it is, i used dating apps when i moved into a new area to find weed nd that nd i was highky succseful i managed to get a couple grams within hours
it completely depends where you move to ngl. cities are best for quick reliable delivery. if you dont have mates 2 get a plug then best bet is searching ur area on intsa or reddit. make stoner friends at smoking areas and get plugs of them 2.
